Clap - 12
“…Please untie this.”
Jaemin tried to sound calm. He couldn’t show his fear. It seemed like Ihyun would be more willing if he didn’t show fear.
“Why?”
Ihyun asked. The tone implied, ‘Why are you making such a request without understanding my feelings?’
“I want to go. Please let me go.”
However, Jaemin was fearful but clueless. Of course, no matter what he said, Ihyun seemed like someone who wouldn’t listen.
“I don’t want to.”
Ihyun playfully scratched his nose. Jaemin, who had come down under the bed, glared at Ihyun. His clenched fist trembled.
“This is a crime. Kidnapping, illegal drug experiments, anyway!”
“It’s not a crime if no one knows.”
Jaemin’s somewhat fierce words were instantly refuted. It was a chilling response. If no one knows. He instinctively understood the meaning implied in that statement.
Jaemin’s neck trembled roughly. Ihyun smiled inwardly. How cute. How could someone be so transparent in their thoughts on their face? Stupidity could be cute. It was amazing.
“I will… I will go out and tell…”
Jaemin prepared to argue, but before he could finish his sentence, he was cut off.
“You don’t need to worry about going out, Jaemin.”
Jaemin felt a weight fall from above his head. Not going out. Did that mean they intended to keep him here for life? Or did it mean he would never leave alive, so he couldn’t tell anyone?
Jaemin’s pupils moved rapidly from side to side. What were the chances of being able to knock down Ihyun and open the door now? If he opened the door, would Ichan be there? Could he overpower Ichan? They were strong people with a solid build.
Even if he tried to knock them down, Jaemin had no idea where the entrance was. He thought there was a lock on that entrance. His mind had never raced so fast since he was born. Maybe this stupid head of his would sometimes be helpful. Please. Please. Jaemin’s eyes turned black as he thought desperately for a solution.
He had forgotten about the shackle. Knocking down Ihyun was out of the question. He seemed unreachable. How foolish.
Escape was impossible. To get out of the shackle, he would have to cut his ankle, but he didn’t have the courage or the tools to do so.
Jaemin sat on the bed as if collapsing. Ihyun, who had been watching Jaemin’s downfall, approached slowly.
“Jaemin.”
“…”
“Jaemin.”
Jaemin didn’t respond to Ihyun’s repeated calls. No, he couldn’t. Stuck in a deep pit, he couldn’t hear or see anything.
Annoyed, Ihyun grabbed Jaemin’s chin and pulled it forcefully. Jaemin had no chance to resist and was dragged along.
“I’m calling you. You should answer, Jaemin.”
“…Yes.”
“Starting today, we will intensively administer hormone injections.”
Jaemin’s chin trembled. The cold touch of Ihyun’s hand through the suppressed flesh felt so chilling that Jaemin shivered.
Hormone injections. Did that mean wearing the ring again? Or forcing him to take it? At that moment, the door opened, and Ichan, wearing glasses, appeared. He held an item that would resolve Jaemin’s doubts.
In the metal basket Ichan held, there was a large syringe. There were many packs containing an unknown liquid, and from the way Ichan’s veins bulged, it seemed very heavy.
Put all that into his body? His body would swell up like a tire company mascot.
