Clap - 43
He fell into a drowsy sleep like that. And when morning came, he had to face Ihyun and Ichan standing dumbfounded, as if struck by lightning.
Ihyun and Ichan stood in front of the bedroom door, with three locks on it, at exactly seven in the morning. It was time to bring Jaemin his breakfast and conduct an examination.
Jaemin’s manifestation was imminent. A lifelong love. A love destined by the heavens. An omega only they could possess. How romantic and wondrous that was. Every hour, as they stood before the fulfillment of a lifelong dream, their excitement grew.
Yet, somehow, they couldn’t bring themselves to take a step forward.
“⋯⋯.”
“⋯⋯.”
Ihyun and Ichan stood idly in front of the bedroom for several minutes. They had unlocked all the locks. All that was left was to turn the smooth doorknob, but strangely, their hands wouldn’t move.
“This⋯⋯.”
“⋯⋯Yes. The smell.”
Ihyun spoke first, and Ichan answered. A mysterious scent was seeping through the crack in the door. It was clearly the scent of an omega. A freshly awakened, strong, and refreshing scent. But the sweetness of it was as powerful as any pheromone, instantly plunging body and mind into ecstasy.
Their Adam’s apples bobbed roughly. Jaemin had manifested. The only thing beyond that door was Jaemin, so it had to be coming from him.
How much effort had they put into research, endured inhumane experiments, all to create an omega? In the end, they succeeded. Jaemin’s genetic and blood tests showed omega reactions, and now he had finally manifested.
Once they opened this door, Ihyun and Ichan would cross a river from which there would be no return. It was what they had wished and longed for more than anyone.
Ichan grabbed the doorknob. After briefly meeting Ihyun’s gaze, he turned the knob. With a short click, the door opened.
“⋯⋯.”
“⋯⋯.”
A storm of pheromones poured out. No, it was more like an explosion. A bombardment. The shock was as if the world had been turned upside down. The ground surged up, and the sky sank down. A faint fear and immense pleasure bombarded them at the same time.
Their spines tingled. Goosebumps rose, and their ears were pulled up. It felt like their whole bodies were itching as if they were covered in hives. They couldn’t resist clenching their fists.
Jaemin’s pheromones, crashing over them like fierce waves, quickly seeped into their brains through their nostrils. Half of it slid down their throats, constricting their hearts. The potent attack made it almost impossible to breathe.
In that moment, Ihyun and Ichan could fully understand the once meaningless phrases like “love at first sight” and “falling in love.” The dull world suddenly became more brilliant and colorful than a rainbow.
Jaemin was peacefully asleep after overwhelming Ihyun and Ichan with his pheromones. His neatly closed eyes were so lovable.
Not just his eyes. His densely packed eyelashes looked like delicately laid silk threads, and his white, translucent skin was like that of a newborn baby. And those plump lips, why were they so red? They looked as if just a light touch would cause them to burst open and spill out juice sweeter than any fruit.
The two of them gazed at Jaemin, like they were admiring a statue of a sleeping hermaphrodite.
The T-shirt they had roughly dressed him in was slipping down, revealing his beautiful collarbones. His round shoulders and prominent shoulder blades were visible. And the fully exposed groin was truly… almost shockingly beautiful. Smooth and plump… No sculptor could carve a figure more alluring than that. From his knees, through his smooth calves and rounded ankles, down to his toes.
He was near perfect. No, more than perfect. No one else could claim perfection except Jaemin.
Jaemin hadn’t done anything. He was just sleeping, yet the two of them were embarrassingly aroused. The desire to conquer, the lust, the craving for flesh, the need for possession, even hunger—all kinds of desires flooded in.
“Haa⋯⋯.”
Ihyun let out a short sigh and covered his eyes. His vision was spinning. His mind sank deep into an abyss.
“⋯⋯.”
