Clap - 46
Jaemin spoke in a flat, emotionless voice. It felt a little absurd to be asking like this, but unfortunately, Jaemin had neither the strength nor the brains to overpower and escape from the two towering alphas.
At that, Ihyun and Ichan chuckled softly. It wasn’t a mocking laugh, but one of genuine amusement. Asking to be let go out of the blue? Jaemin was silly and cute for making such a request, knowing full well that it wouldn’t happen.
“Let me go.”
“⋯⋯.”
The two completely ignored Jaemin’s words. They were focused on treating his small hand, as if there was something incredibly important to see in it. Watching the two handsome heads bent down over him, Jaemin clenched his jaw. Then, he tightly closed his fist.
The recently closed wounds reopened, causing bl00d to trickle down. A single, distinct line of red flowed down Jaemin’s wrist.
“What are you doing, Jaemin?” Ihyun’s voice had a chilling tone. Ichan grabbed Jaemin’s wrist, forcibly straightening his fingers. Jaemin’s fingers felt like they were being crushed, but he didn’t back down.
“Let me go, you crazy bastards.”
“⋯⋯ha.”
“This is a crime. Experimenting on turning a beta into an omega is a crime. Keeping me locked up is a crime. Raping me is a crime too.”
Jaemin’s gaze directly pierced Ihyun and Ichan’s brows. He was trying to be firm, but unfortunately, the two were swallowing saliva between their gritted teeth. It was the first time they’d seen Jaemin resist like this. It wasn’t bad. His flushed cheeks and the way he tried to act tough reminded them of an angry rabbit or hamster.
“Why are you acting like this all of a sudden?” Ichan smirked crookedly, trying to open Jaemin’s fingers. The bl00d now flowed in two, three streams down his wrist. While it wasn’t enough to cause excessive bleeding, it was still unpleasant.
“It’s not all of a sudden, you bastard.”
Jaemin swatted away Ichan’s hand with his free one.
“⋯⋯.”
One of Ichan’s eyebrows shot up.
“I’ve been thinking about it every hour, every minute. I was just in too much pain before… so… I couldn’t… do anything about it.”
The memories of enduring excruciating pain flooded back. The burning heat through his body, the sensation of his muscles tearing, the agony in his organs. It was all too overwhelming to even consider escaping or fighting back.
Jaemin bit his lips, suppressing the surge of emotions. He lifted the chains on his shackles.
“Let me go. I won’t report you to the police. Just let me go.”
Ihyun’s eyes narrowed in suspicion. He couldn’t understand why Jaemin was suddenly acting like this. He had been completely limp like overcooked spinach until now—why this change?
Was it because he realized he had manifested? But he didn’t seem smart enough to fully grasp how significant that was.
Ihyun let out a short sigh and wrapped his hand around Jaemin’s fist.
“Let’s finish the treatment first.”
Jaemin’s pupils shrank to the size of pinpricks. Then, he started flailing his arms and legs wildly.
“Let me go! I said, let me go! Aahhh—!”
Jaemin’s heels thumped repeatedly against the floor, and with his arms, he swept the bed, throwing off the blanket, pillows, and the first-aid kit. Still not satisfied, he flailed around like a fish thrown on land. His face turned bright red, and the whites of his eyes were streaked with bl00d. It was as if he was having a seizure.
“Let go! Ahh! Aaaah!”
Jaemin’s outburst grew more intense, resembling a drunken man causing a scene. Ihyun’s brow furrowed in displeasure. He considered if there was any sedative or calming agent left in the house.
At that moment, Ichan grabbed Jaemin’s head. He threw his glasses aside and, with his other hand, pressed down on Jaemin’s shoulder before kissing him. Shocked by the sudden kiss, Jaemin opened his mouth, and Ichan took the chance to release a long breath of pheromones. Jaemin’s body went limp immediately.
