Clap - 5
“Oh, no, I mean, I came to… work part-time.”
“What?”
“Part-time.”
The dental hygienists looked puzzled. Jaemin instinctively looked at Ihyun. Please say something. You hired me yesterday. We even had an interview and shook hands. So please help me. That was the look in his eyes.
“Our appointments are over.”
But Ihyun dismissed Jaemin as if he were a genuine patient. Jaemin’s jaw dropped. What…?
“No. I came for cleaning… part-time work.”
“Ah! Jaemin!”
As Jaemin was about to start explaining, the door to the examination room opened, and Ihyun appeared. Following him, a patient with his chin held up came out, indicating that the appointment was delayed.
Jaemin’s eyes widened. There was Ihyun there, and here was Ihyun. Two Ihyuns. It was an unbelievable sight. Jaemin stretched out his chin and checked the name embroidered on the gown in front of him.
[Director Choi Ihyun]
The name was slightly different. Choi Ihyun. Choi Ihyun. Even with a stupid head, Jaemin quickly deduced the answer. They were twins. Yesterday, when Ihyun mentioned a ‘colleague,’ he meant this person, it seemed.
“You’re here? Right on time. Good.”
Ihyun approached with a smile.
“Who’s this?”
The other person, Ihyun’s twin, asked with his arms crossed.
“I told you this morning. The new cleaning part-timer is super cute.”
At Ihyun’s words, Jaemin shuddered. There seemed to be a slightly suggestive word in his calm expression.
“Oh. Cleaning.”
The twin said, stroking his chin. It was a habit like Ihyun’s.
Jaemin looked back and forth between the two standing next to him. Ihyun’s bangs were naturally falling down. In contrast, the twin had neatly combed hair. Ihyun didn’t wear glasses, but the twin wore gold-rimmed glasses without a single fingerprint. The rest was similar. There wasn’t enough difference to distinguish them.
“Why did you hire such a young guy for cleaning?”
The twin didn’t pay much attention to Jaemin, whether he was there or not. His words were straightforward.
Ihyun took off the twin’s glasses and grabbed Jaemin’s wrist, pulling him towards them. Jaemin was dragged awkwardly in front of them.
Jaemin felt the twin’s gaze. It was so intense that his eyelids and cheeks tingled. He wanted to rub his face vigorously as if hundreds of ants were crawling over it.
“He’s cute. He said he’ll work hard no matter what you ask him to do.”
“…Omega?”
They both asked the same question. Jaemin was about to nod.
“No. I’m a Beta. Unfortunately.”
Ihyun answered instead. Then, one of Ihyun’s eyebrows shot up in amusement. It seemed like something didn’t sit right with him. Maybe he liked it.
Jaemin took a step closer. Then, Ihyun leaned in close to Jaemin’s ear and took a deep breath, which was quite rude.
But Jaemin was worried about something else. What if he smelled like sweat? He felt like he should be clean since he was a cleaning staff, so he had showered at the campus gym just before coming. Jaemin suddenly leaned back.
“I don’t smell at all.”
Ihyun whispered in a low voice.
