- Clingy! The Sickly but Beautiful and Strong Alpha Is a Loyal Puppy Who Needs Pampering
- Chapter 25 - One Person Surrounding Fifty or Sixty
After thoroughly cleaning up Xiao Ai, it was already past 11 p.m.
Alpha didn’t linger any longer. Holding Omega’s hand, she only asked for a goodnight kiss on the forehead before returning to the room Bei Yin had arranged for her next door.
All the rooms in the dormitory area had roughly the same layout, with the only difference being the new curtains, bedding, and other furnishings.
The bathroom and closet were also stocked in advance with neatly arranged toiletries and well-fitting clothes in styles she liked.
The meticulous care and thoughtfulness instantly satisfied Alpha’s craving for affection.
Guessing that Bei Yin had just gotten into bed, she sent a message: Thank you, sis. Love you, sis. You’ve worked hard, sis~
The only baby O in the little leopard’s family replied: There weren’t many nice options online. Let’s go shopping together when we have time—I’ll buy you lots of pretty clothes.
The little leopard, who usually hated shopping, responded: I love shopping the most! And I love it when sis buys me things the most!
……
The next morning, 7:30 a.m.
“Good morning, sis.”
Ruanruan opened the door, looking forward to a pleasant breakfast with her sister.
But the moment she saw Xiao Ai, her cheerful eyes instantly turned gloomy. “How is it alive again?”
Xiao Ai’s bad mood for the day started right then and there. Suppressing its fear, it retorted angrily, “It must’ve been you who pulled out my chip again! You evil woman!”
“Ahem… that was me,” Bei Yin said, turning around with breakfast in hand. She had no intention of explaining the truth to the naive little robot.
Xiao Ai immediately started bouncing happily. “Then it must’ve been because I malfunctioned, and Master fixed me!”
That wasn’t entirely wrong, so Bei Yin nodded before glancing at the grumpy, black-faced Alpha in her oversized T-shirt.
“Alright, come eat.”
After breakfast, Bei Yin went to change while Ruan Fei cleared the table, eyeing the approaching robot.
“I don’t need your help.”
Xiao Ai huffed indignantly. “I see now—you weren’t here to join us at all! You just wanted to come between me and Master!”
“Tch. Say that again.”
“Wah… Master, the evil woman is so mean!”
After soothing one and then the other, it was already past 8 a.m. by the time Bei Yin finally headed to the military hospital.
Perhaps all the arguing had made her hungry again. The younger girl, who had just eaten not long ago, was now munching on the sandwich cookies Bei Lin had made for Bei Yin, hugging a glass jar.
She walked backward in front of Bei Yin, her low ponytail swaying gently behind her.
“Sis, you only scold me. Why don’t you say anything to that useless robot?”
“It’s a few years old, and you’re how old? The fact that you two can even argue is baffling.”
“Hmph. I’m gonna beat it up sooner or later.”
Bei Yin couldn’t help but laugh, though she didn’t take the threat seriously.
Given the little leopard’s fiery temper, if she really wanted to hit something, she’d have done it already—no warnings necessary.
“Sis, the cookies Auntie made are really good,” Ruanruan said, walking side by side with Bei Yin. “Can I go thank her in person?”
Bei Yin understood the underlying request to meet her family and smiled. “Mom’s little flower shop will be moving into the military hospital soon. You’ll be able to see her every day after that.”
“Yay! I’ll help with the move when the time comes.”
The military base was divided into four main zones—the military district housing the eight fleets, the hospital district, the research institute district, and the weapons storage district.
As for the flower shop’s location, Bei Yin had chosen a spot at the intersection of the first three districts, close to her office.
With high foot traffic, it would surely spark the purchasing desires of those who couldn’t leave the base often.
Bei Yin wasn’t expecting her mother to make much money; she simply wanted to see her happy smile when the carefully tended flowers were sold.
Although Shen Yasi had approved the documents out of courtesy, all expenses for the production of smart materials had to be covered by Bei Yin herself.
The shopfront covered a hundred square meters, while the garden cultivation area behind it spanned two hundred. Built by robots, the entire setup would be completed in half a month.
Barring any mishaps, they could move in the day after tomorrow.
Every time Bei Yin passed by the construction site, her mood instantly brightened.
But today, something went wrong.
She and Ruan Fei stopped not far away, only to see the nearly finished three-hundred-square-meter plot reduced to ruins.
Only one wall remained, crumbling bit by bit.
Chaos reigned in front of the wreckage.
The soldiers from her Eighth Fleet were locked in a heated argument with dozens from the Sixth Fleet, who were still holding the tools of destruction.
Faces flushed, necks taut, they shoved and jostled. A few Alphas, too agitated, lost control of their pheromones.
“What the hell is wrong with you Sixth Fleet?! Commander Shen already approved this! You tore down Dr. Bei Yin’s shop for no reason—do you think the Eighth Fleet is full of corpses?!”
“Commander Shen can’t be reached right now. Who knows if the approval’s real? Maybe Bei Yin forged the documents. Either way, Commander Fu said this illegal construction has to go.”
“Motherf—! A bunch of dogs licking their master’s boots! Sixth Fleet is full of animals!”
“You Eighth Fleet bastards are the dogs! If you wanna fight, then bring it, you cowards!”
Ever since Shen Yasi handed authority to Fu Jian, Bei Yin had known he wouldn’t stay quiet.
So apart from a slight darkening of her expression, she remained composed.
However Fu Jian had torn this place down, she’d make him rebuild it—piece by piece, with his own hands.
But the Alpha beside her clearly didn’t share her restraint.
From who-knows-where, she pulled out a cap and tugged it low, hiding the storm in her eyes.
“Jiejie, fighting’s bad. I think I’ll go mediate.”
Bei Yin smiled approvingly. “Go ahead.”
Ruan Fei turned Bei Yin around. “Wait here. Don’t look back.”
“Okay, I promise I won’t.”
The Alpha strode forward, eyes shadowed with malice. Without warning, she pivoted and drove her foot into the abdomen of the nearest Sixth Fleet Alpha.
The kick sent the man flying several meters, crashing into the crumbling wall—which collapsed entirely under the impact.
The man lay motionless in the wreckage.
The brawl froze. The roaring chaos fell dead silent.
The Eighth Fleet soldiers gaped, bewildered. Was… was this really the same soft Alpha who’d been thoroughly “tamed” by Dr. Bein?
This aura of unrestrained violence—it didn’t seem to match at all…
The Sixth Fleet instigators took a long moment to process what had happened.
Then rage took over. Without thinking, they pointed and cursed, swarming toward Ruan Fei.
The last thread of her restraint snapped the moment she confirmed Bei Yin hadn’t turned around.
The malice she’d been suppressing erupted, multiplying tenfold, saturating the air around her.
The insults died mid-sentence. The Sixth Fleet members closest to her went rigid, a chill creeping up their spines.
One tried to lower his accusing finger—only for her hand to snap around his wrist.
A sickening crack.
Agony exploded as his hand bent backward at a ninety-degree angle.
Before he could even cry out in pain, he was kicked so hard that he spat bl00d, collapsed, and lost consciousness.
Then, apart from the continuous sounds of bones cracking, only the gasps of the Eighth Fleet members could be heard.
After all, the other side had fifty or sixty people, including several physically strong Alphas.
At first, they had considered stepping in to help, but then they heard one of the Alphas coldly say, “Don’t.”
The vicious, unrestrained tone carried an unmistakable meaning—”Don’t drag me down.”
They didn’t dare move after that.
They could only stand there, their gazes growing increasingly numb, watching as the Alpha exuded an almost tangible aura of terror, single-handedly surrounding the fifty or sixty people.
She didn’t even release her pheromones.
In less than five minutes, not a single member of the Sixth Fleet was left standing—or even conscious.
They lay scattered on the ground, eyes rolled back, mouths foaming with crimson.
Our people swallowed hard in horror.
This Alpha… this Alpha… was just as ruthless as that bloodthirsty demon from District 1!
Ruan Fei took a long moment to steady herself before her brain regained control of her rationality.
Closing her eyes, she suppressed the last traces of dark emotions and jogged over to Bei Yin.
“Sis, I talked them down—they won’t fight anymore. Let’s get out of here, okay?”
