The bell rang for the end of evening self-study. Zhou Xiaoxiao tossed her pen down and turned to ask Yan Wei, “Still going to the sports field?”
“Yeah,” Yan Wei closed her folder as well. “Wait for Jiang Youyi together.”
“She’s going running too?” Zhou Xiaoxiao was surprised. “Did you make plans with her?” When? How come she didn’t know?
Yan Wei finished packing her desk and stood up. “During the break, when you went out.”
A gust of wind came into the classroom through the half-closed window. The air was damp and cool. Yan Wei was worried it might get colder at night, so she grabbed her school uniform jacket hanging on the back of her chair before leaving.
Jiang Youyi closed the window she was responsible for, got another half cup of water, and then went to the sports field with Yan Wei.
A cool breeze swept across the sports field. Groups of two or three students crossed the large lawn to return to their dorms. There were also a few girls who insisted on jogging at night to lose weight, forming a unique scene in the dim night of the campus.
Jiang Youyi found a spot with a wide view and sat down, seriously acting as the supervisor. “You guys can start.”
Zhou Xiaoxiao was puzzled. “Aren’t you running?” What was she doing at the sports field if she wasn’t running?

Yan Wei obediently supported herself to stand up and walked a short distance forward, taking the water cup Jiang Youyi handed her. The water was still warm. Yan Wei naturally drank a mouthful to moisten her throat. Jiang Youyi saw it but didn’t say anything.
“Water? I want some too! My throat is about to smoke!” Zhou Xiaoxiao was originally unable to move, but the only cup of water on the field gave her a bit of vitality. She struggled to walk over, complaining, “Yan Wei, you ran too fast! I couldn’t keep up!”
Yan Wei gave Jiang Youyi a look, raised the cup in her hand, asking Jiang Youyi if she was willing to give the water to Zhou Xiaoxiao.

“I won’t go in. This is for Yan Wei,” Jiang Youyi stuffed a plastic bag into Zhou Xiaoxiao’s hands. “Thanks!”
After speaking, she turned around and went back to her own dorm room.
Yan Wei came out holding her forehead and saw Zhou Xiaoxiao handing her a plastic bag.
Seeing what was inside, Yan Wei was stunned for a moment.
Red tea ice popsicles that cost five mao each. This whole bag had to have ten of them.
