Crazy (Lily ABO) - Chapter 10
[Thank you for the pumpkin porridge.]
Xin Ruofan received Teng Lin’s reply, a flicker of tenderness in her eyes, which then quickly returned to coldness. After buying the pumpkin porridge and returning, she noticed a black sedan parked outside the studio door. Xin Deming had indeed come looking for her. She exchanged a few words with Teng Lin’s assistant and then said she had to leave. Otherwise, she would have definitely stayed to accompany the sick Alpha. But now, she had a more pressing problem to solve.
••••
In the restaurant’s private room, Xin Deming leaned back against his chair, his face stern as he looked at the Omega who had just pushed open the door. His brows were deeply furrowed, his expression quite displeased. “You’re covered in Alpha scent.”
Xin Ruofan casually brushed her slightly wavy hair, unconcerned. “I just left her, of course I’d have her scent.”
“You cannot be with her.” Xin Deming’s gruff voice echoed in the room. “She’s crazy, she’s a lunatic, there’s something wrong with her mind. What if she kills you one day—”
“She’s not!”
Xin Ruofan coldly interrupted him, her gaze firm as she looked straight ahead. “She’s perfectly normal. Even if she develops some illness in the future, I’ll stay by her side. This is my relationship, and I’ll take responsibility for myself.”
“I absolutely forbid you from being with the daughter of a crazy murderer. You’re a member of the Xin family. Have you thought about what people outside will say about you?”
Xin Ruofan pursed her lips, remaining silent, her heart heavy. “Crazy person,” “murderer’s daughter”—it was precisely because of these labels that Teng Lin had always avoided their relationship.
Ten years ago, Teng Lin’s father had a psychiatric episode, killed his wife, and then committed suicide. Her sister, Teng Fei, who witnessed the crime scene, soon after developed a mental illness.
At that time, Teng Lin was a rising star in the art world, a newly emerging painter, who suddenly disappeared without a trace. Later, she returned with a series of unconventional art pieces; her works became dark and erotic, but gained attention from the younger generation. After becoming famous, her family background was thoroughly exposed. Her father was a murderer with a mental illness, and her sister was also mentally ill. Gradually, others naturally began to treat her as a crazy person.
Xin Deming took a sip of tea, his voice returning to its usual steady, cold tone. “You’ve had enough freedom these past few years. It’s time to come back and help.”
“Help?” Xin Ruofan sneered. “Like my mother, becoming your pawn to be manipulated?”
Xin Deming’s chin lifted slightly, and he spoke in an extremely arrogant tone. “Ruofan, your modeling career has been so smooth because the Xin Corporation has been funding you behind the scenes. Otherwise, how do you think an Omega could navigate that industry safely?”
“Naive child, you don’t have enough capital to contend with me.”
“You should know how easy it is to destroy someone who lives by their creativity.”
Xin Deming’s words struck her heart one by one. The Omega’s hands, hanging at her sides, trembled as she clenched them into fists. Anger burned within her, her eyes filled with resentment and hatred. She suddenly realized how unfamiliar the man before her was. She didn’t know when her uncle had become so selfish and opportunistic, using so-called kinship and family ties to control everyone around him, including his son, his sister, and now even his niece.
Xin Ruofan walked up to him, arms crossed, looking down at the middle-aged man with a subtle smile on her lips, though the warmth didn’t reach her eyes. “I’m not your ignorant son, nor am I my weak Alpha mother. I’m different from them. I’m not interested in what happens to the Xin family. Go ahead, bring it on. If you dare to hurt her, I will surely demand an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth.”
There was no fear in the Omega’s eyes; deep within them, a flame seemed to burn. Since her Alpha was both timid and cowardly, then she would protect her, becoming her solid shield.
••••
Teng Lin’s mood remained low. Ever since she experienced the wonder of embracing the Omega, she felt that her right hand was no longer enough to satisfy the desire in her heart. It was as if ten years of pent-up sexual desire had suddenly erupted, her mind filled with scenes of lovemaking with the Omega.
Then she found she couldn’t cum.
Teng Lin looked down at the still-erect flesh in her hand. Each time, it felt like she was just on the verge of climax, she could clearly feel countless pleasures accumulating at her urethral opening, about to burst forth, but no matter how she stroked it, she couldn’t cum.
She wanted an Omega, she wanted the scent of tuberose, she wanted Xin Ruofan.
She really missed Xin Ruofan so much…
That evening, Teng Lin was scheduled to attend a charity gala, and her assistant had brought back the reserved gown early in the morning. She glanced at the closed studio door, feeling a slight uneasiness. Ever since the long-legged Omega woman left that day, her boss had been utterly dejected.
She had heard about Teng Lin’s family situation and many “crazy” rumors, and she worried that the boss might be thinking of doing something reckless.
But her boss didn’t like to be disturbed while working, so she didn’t dare to knock and enter rashly.
It wasn’t until evening that the studio door finally opened.
Teng Lin was covered in colorful paint, holding a small knife in her hand, looking at her assistant who stood at the doorway in shock.
The assistant was terrified at the sight of the knife in her hand.
In an instant, images from the rumors flashed through her mind, and she gasped, “Don’t come closer—”
Teng Lin frowned slightly, opened her mouth to say something, then saw the assistant raise a chair to block them, completely on guard.
“Teacher, calm down, p-p-put the knife down!”
Teng Lin sighed, guessing that the assistant had misunderstood. She patiently explained, “You misunderstood, this is for painting.”
The assistant was a little bewildered, then slowly lowered the chair. Only then did she clearly see that the other person was holding an art palette knife. She then turned to look at the canvases in the room, realizing she had overreacted, and could only offer an embarrassed smile.
“Teacher, I’m sorry, I…”
Teng Lin shook her head, indicating it was fine, and took the gown from the assistant’s hand.
“Teacher, are you okay?” the assistant asked, still uneasy.
It was well-known that Teng Lin had once used her own bl00d as paint.
Appearing suddenly with a small knife and a gloomy expression would naturally make anyone suspicious.
Moreover, she was known as the “crazy” artist. What if she used the knife to cut herself…?
The assistant got goosebumps, and the more she thought about it, the more wrong it felt.
“I’m fine.”
Teng Lin glanced at her, said nothing more, and turned back into the studio. She threw the gown onto the sofa, picked up a brand new small knife, and in an instant, pressed her fingertip onto the tip of the blade, hot, fresh bl00d slowly oozing out.
Teng Lin extended her finger and gently pressed it onto the canvas, landing on the naked back of the woman in the painting.
A delicate, crimson mole was vividly embedded on her shoulder blade.
