Inside the Bl00d Shadow Labyrinth, the entire alternate world is covered in a bl00d-red color. The sky is always filled with a dying sun, and the ground is plagued with corpses, and rivers of bl00d flow everywhere.

Shui Yue remains silent while following Mo Ling closely.

Mo Ling finds himself wandering like he’s stuck in a labyrinth, with no end in sight. After struggling through a field of corpses, he finally emerges to find another battlefield.

This time, they enter a cave, where an underground river flows. The water has a rancid, bl00d-soaked odor, forcing both Mo Ling and Shui Yue to cover their noses and mouths.

“Where the hell are you taking me?” Shui Yue complains, about to turn back, but the path they came from has disappeared.

In the bl00d river, the bodies of the dead float by looked white and bloated. Though they appear lifeless, their jet-black eyes seem to follow the two of them.

“Are these corpses… or are they still alive?” Shui Yue trembles, hiding behind Mo Ling.

“Shh!”

Mo Ling immediately hush her. As soon as the bodies in the water hear their voices, they begin to turn and swim toward the shore.

The corpses that crawl out of the river have hollow eyes, yet their gaze is so intense that it feels as though they are staring directly at the two of them.

Mo Ling thinks for a moment before pulling Shui Yue, who is about to go back. “If I’m not mistaken, this bl00d river is the exit we’ve been looking for.”

Shui Yue bites her lip. Even though she knows this might be the way out, she can’t bear the thought of floating alongside with these corpses in the bl00d river.

As more and more of the corpse-like figures creep toward them, Mo Ling’s determination strengthens. He pulls Shui Yue into the river without hesitation.

As the rotten bl00d water submerges them, something strange happened: they no longer feel the suffocating smell of decay or the stench of bl00d that filled the Bl00d Shadow Labyrinth. They can breathe freely now

Indeed, this was the way out!

The two swim toward a distant glimmer of light above. When they emerge from the water, they find themselves standing on cracked earth, with a high cave ceiling above them.

Shui Yue takes a deep breath in shock. “We’re out! How did you know that was the right way?”

Mo Ling stands up, and they realize they’ve exited the temple and returned to the back courtyard.

However, the Tribulation Lotus Platform is still spinning, its golden barrier surrounding them.

Before them, there is still a bl00d-red curtain of mist hanging in the air, a sign that they haven’t completely escaped the Bl00d Shadow Labyrinth.

“It’s simple,” Mo Ling says while pressing a hand to the Lotus Platform. “We’ve passed through so many battlegrounds, and all we’ve seen are corpses. But when we came to this place, those bodies hadn’t turned into corpse spirits. Plus, they’re still able to move and see—just like living people, right?”

Just as he bends down, Mo Ling spots something on the ground: a yellow, water-drop shaped jade that radiates a purifying light.

Before he can examine it further, the system interface suddenly pops up in front of him.

“Alright, we shouldn’t stay here for long. Let’s leave first and plan later.”

Just as he finishes speaking, Shui Yue leaps away, landing a full yard away from him.

She stands at the edge of the ancient well, pulling out the fiery whip and tossing it inside.

Mo Ling massages his temples. Should he just leave this greedy woman behind?

Before he can retreat, he hears a scream as Shui Yue, while standing at the edge of the well, suddenly flies toward him like a human missile.

Mo Ling reaches out to catch her but quickly notices an ominous red glow surrounding her body. Realizing the danger, he pulls back just in time, letting Shui Yue crash into the cave wall.

“You!” Shui Yue slides down the wall, spitting bl00d.

Mo Ling glares at her. “You’re surrounded by a murderous aura. I’m not touching you. This trouble is of your own making, so why should I always clean up after you?”

At the mention of “cleaning up after her,” Shui Yue’s pale face turns red with embarrassment and anger. “Mo Ling! I’m a woman. How can you treat me like this? Aren’t you a man?! ”

Mo Ling rolls his eyes. He avoids Shui Yue’s punch aimed at him, then grabs her by the leg and pulls her back.

Shui Yue is about to curse him, but suddenly, her expression freezes. She quickly clamps her mouth shut.

A massive red glow erupts from the ancient well, spreading across the cave. The once dimly lit cave is gradually consumed by the red light, as though the entire cave has turned into another Bl00d Shadow Maze.

“Ahhhhhh!”

From the temple ahead, the long, eerie screams of the three thousand corpse spirits echo. The monks who had been sitting cross-legged transform into corpse spirits and rush out of the temple, claws extended and mouths wide open, charging toward the courtyard.

Shui Yue clings tightly to Mo Ling’s arm, hiding behind him. It’s clear she plans to push him out of the way and buy herself time if the corpse spirits come for them.

But this time, Mo Ling is done allowing her to make her own moves. He quickly jerks his arm away from her and steps back.

Mo Ling’s concern is not the approaching corpse spirits, but the increasingly intense malevolent energy from the ancient well.

This malevolent aura presses down on them, making it hard to move.

The corpse spirits, however, seem completely uninterested in Mo Ling and Shui Yue. They charge straight toward the ancient well.

The three thousand corpse spirits find themselves unable to advance, and their agonized cries echo through the cave.
