This Director Is Not To Be Trifled With - Chapter 37
Xiao Yutong: “Song Xian, you’re shameless.”
“I am shameless,” Song Xian, finding strength from somewhere, rolled over and pinned Xiao Yutong beneath her. “Xiao Yutong, every time I close my eyes, I see you the way you were in the office that day.”
Song Xian: “Look, this place is so stimulating. How about we do it here…”
“Do it on your big head!” Xiao Yutong slapped Song Xian off the bed with a ringing blow.
The next morning, both Xiao Yutong and Song Xian took the morning off. Xiao Yutong was discharged and planned to go home and rest. Last time, she was the one taking Xiao Yutong out of the hospital; this time, it was Xiao Yutong taking her. How strange!
Song Xian hadn’t gotten her way last night, so she was restless the moment they got in the car. Taking advantage of Xiao Yutong buckling her seatbelt, she secretly pecked her. She expected Xiao Yutong to get angry or scold her, but instead, Xiao Yutong kissed her back.
Xiao Yutong merely toyed with her lightly, and Song Xian’s mind was already in chaos. She moved her seat back and pulled Xiao Yutong entirely across from the driver’s seat.
Xiao Yutong straddled her, placing a hand behind Song Xian’s head to prevent her from moving, while her mouth worked tirelessly, licking and sucking behind Song Xian’s ear. This made Song Xian tremble all over, especially with people constantly coming and going outside, intensifying her body’s sensitivity and excitement.
“Jiejie, Jiejie, please stop playing,” Song Xian pleaded affectionately near Xiao Yutong’s ear.
“Beg me,” Xiao Yutong smiled slyly, full of triumph.
“I beg you.” Song Xian would never back down in other areas, but in this respect, and especially when facing Xiao Yutong, what was wrong with surrendering a little?
“Haha,” Xiao Yutong suddenly burst out laughing. “We need to get going.”
What? Get going? Stopping right as things were getting intense? Was Xiao Yutong just toying with her?
Song Xian: Xiao Yutong, you bastard.
As Xiao Yutong climbed back into the driver’s seat, she chuckled quietly to herself. Song Xian’s expression of wanting something so badly yet not getting it was too precious.
Also, she realized she particularly loved seeing Song Xian reach a climax. It always happened at night when the lights couldn’t be on, so she rarely got a chance to see it.
Maybe we should do it during the day from now on. That way, we can still turn off the lights, but I can clearly see every expression.
She casually pulled two tissues and handed them to Song Xian. “Wipe yourself if you’re uncomfortable.” She flashed a subtle, knowing smile at Song Xian.
Song Xian gripped the two “insulting” tissues, gritting her teeth and silently grumbling: Xiao Yutong, I’ll deal with you when we get home.
The bouquet of roses and the mousse cake were still on the dining table at home, along with all the decorations she’d prepared in the room Xiao Yutong had completely forgotten about them.
The moment Song Xian entered the door, she spotted the flowers. “What is this?”
“Are these flowers? Xiao Yutong, these are the flowers you prepared for me,” Song Xian held the bouquet, overjoyed. “And what is this? My favorite mousse cake!”
Song Xian held the flowers in one hand and the cake in the other, her face beaming with delight. “Did you prepare this for me?”
Seeing Song Xian happy made Xiao Yutong happy too, but she still played it cool: “Of course not. I passed by the florist and bought them because they were on sale.”
“Is that so?” Song Xian’s tone was heavily sarcastic.
Song Xian: “This cake looks delicious. I’ll try it.”
As Song Xian moved to open it, Xiao Yutong quickly walked over and stopped her. “I bought that yesterday. It’s spoiled.”
Song Xian brushed Xiao Yutong’s hand away. “It’s fine. I like spoiled food.”
Xiao Yutong snapped: “Do you want to end up back in the hospital?”
Song Xian flashed a wicked smile, tossed aside the cake, swept the bouquet off the table, and lifted Xiao Yutong onto the countertop. “If I don’t eat the cake, I’ll have to eat you.”
Song Xian’s chest rose and fell rapidly. She couldn’t suppress the craving in her heart anymore. Xiao Yutong was like a magnet, constantly emitting a magnetic field that drew in Song Xian, the metal nail. Xiao Yutong’s scent, the sound of her voice, her teasing smile everything deeply attracted her.
She wanted Xiao Yutong; she wanted her all the time.
“Jiejie, do you know what happens to people who tease me?” Song Xian lightly sucked on Xiao Yutong’s earlobe.
“What happens?” Xiao Yutong’s tone held a hint of disdain, figuring Song Xian was about to boast again.
Xiao Yutong waited quietly for Song Xian’s answer. As Song Xian sucked her ear, her hand had somehow undone Xiao Yutong’s bra clasp. Xiao Yutong instinctively covered her now-exposed chest.
Song Xian grabbed her hand, pulling her in even tighter. “They all end up being satisfied by me in bed.”
Xiao Yutong laughed. “Oh, is that right? I’m not so easily satisfied.”
Song Xian carried Xiao Yutong into the bedroom. Just before entering, she finally remembered the room’s decorations. She called out to Song Xian, trying to stop her from opening the door, but it was too late.
The bed was covered in rose petals, slightly wilted, and some pink balloons, also a bit deflated, but it was clear the setup had been carefully planned.
Especially the sexy nightgown carelessly tossed on the bed in her haste it was red. Xiao Yutong silently prayed to heaven not to let Song Xian see that item, hoping it would blend in with the rose petals.
But this time, the heavens didn’t seem to be on her side. Song Xian slowly set her down, walked to the bed, and picked up the sexy lingerie. “Tsk, tsk, tsk, Xiao Yutong, it looks like you really want to be satisfied by me.”
What was supposed to be a relaxing morning off ended up being more exhausting than a day at work. Song Xian used every means possible, finally making Xiao Yutong wear the nightgown, and then began her journey to “satisfy” her.
The advertising collaboration between Jin Cheng and Lorca was finally over. Song Xian breathed a sigh of relief she wouldn’t have to see that Shen Qingjia again for a while.
This ending was a new beginning. She heard the company had taken on a new project located out of town. The executives had been discussing it in a meeting for an entire afternoon. Song Xian had practically worn a hole in the conference room door with her staring, but she hadn’t seen Xiao Yutong emerge.
Xiao Yutong didn’t reply to her messages. When quitting time arrived, Song Xian saw General Manager Yang’s assistant bring a large bag of takeout into the conference room. If they were having dinner delivered to the room, the meeting clearly wouldn’t end anytime soon.
A little while after the food was delivered, Xiao Yutong finally sent a message.
Xiao Yutong: [The meeting isn’t over yet. You should go home first!]
She only sent one sentence. Had Xiao Yutong not seen the many messages Song Xian had sent earlier, or had she seen them but just not bothered to reply? Either way, it was rude; she only spoke when it suited her?
However, Song Xian was used to it. Xiao Yutong was like that she became completely engrossed in her work. Getting a single message from her during such a busy time was already a stroke of luck.
On the other hand, it was good. The design department was having a small celebratory dinner tonight to mark the perfect completion of the Lorca project. Everyone had chipped in their own money. Apparently, after every project, big or small, they would gather together, with the size of the gathering determined by the size of the project. Clearly, Xiao Yutong had not been invited to this one not because they didn’t want her, but because they didn’t dare.
“Don’t dare” was twofold: one, they didn’t dare invite her; two, if she was invited, they wouldn’t dare have fun. So, they just didn’t invite her at all.
The location was a restaurant. There were quite a few people, so they booked a large private room that could accommodate three tables.
This was Song Xian’s first time attending a celebratory dinner. Though she wasn’t overly excited, she was a little thrilled. When she and Zhang Xin arrived, everyone had already ordered, and the tables were crowded with beer bottles, maybe two cases’ worth, with more possibly on the way.
It was hard to believe that these people, who wore black-rimmed glasses, typed all day, and brainstormed ideas, could drink so much. She had truly underestimated them on a daily basis.
Since there was alcohol, Song Xian definitely had to show off a little. Although she was new, with her years of experience dominating the drinking scene, she quickly became the center of attention.
Everyone started with three toasts to celebrate. After that, it was game time cards and dice were all brought out.
Song Xian initially wanted to join, but she remembered the many times she’d gotten drunk before, how worried Xiao Yutong always was, and how Xiao Yutong didn’t like the smell of alcohol on her. So, she held back and chatted with a few non-drinking female colleagues on the side. But before long, she couldn’t resist and joined the drinking games.
Song Xian shook the dice cup, yelling loudly, “Do you guys even know how to play? No cheating this round! Come on, come on…”
Just as everyone was having a blast, the door to the private room suddenly opened. Song Xian, with her back to the door, was shaking the dice cup over her head, her whole body swaying.
Those facing the door were the first to see who had entered. They were stunned into silence. Those sitting across from them quickly caught on, looked back, and also fell silent all except for Song Xian, who was immersed in shaking the dice.
She slammed the dice cup down on the table, noticed everyone’s strange expressions, and saw Zhang Xin frantically winking at her. Only then did she realize how quiet it was around her, and that a chill seemed to pass through the air.
She vaguely felt the coldness coming from behind her, so she slowly turned around.
“Xiao,” she almost blurted out Xiao Yutong’s name, but remembering all her colleagues were present, she quickly changed it. “Director Xiao.”
The previously lively private room suddenly went cold. Everyone exchanged glances, a feeling akin to being caught slacking off by the boss, even though it was after hours.
“I heard you all were having a get-together, so I came to take a look. It’s fine, you all continue playing. Don’t mind me.” After Xiao Yutong said this, everyone looked at each other again, still not daring to move.
Xiao Yutong walked to the corner and sat down. Song Xian felt the atmosphere was too awkward, so she raised her glass to liven things up.
Song Xian: “Director Xiao is so late that she should technically be penalized three drinks. But since she managed to rush to this gathering despite her busy schedule, we’ll waive the penalty. I propose a toast to celebrate the perfect success of the Lorca advertisement and the arrival of Director Xiao. Let’s all drink another one.”
After Song Xian’s lengthy speech, everyone remained silent. The people who had been making the most noise earlier quietly shifted their gaze toward Xiao Yutong, then looked at each other again.
At this moment, only one person was needed to take the lead and everyone else would follow. Song Xian arched her eyebrows at Zhang Xin a few times. Thankfully, Zhang Xin immediately understood her signal.
Zhang Xin: “Yes! Come on, everyone, cheers!”
With Zhang Xin leading the way, and seeing no adverse reaction on Xiao Yutong’s face, others slowly raised their glasses. As the games continued, everyone was much more reserved with Xiao Yutong present. Knowing their Director liked quiet, they didn’t dare yell even when they got excited.
Due to Xiao Yutong’s arrival, the party ended very early. It usually lasted until eleven or twelve, but this time, it was over before ten.
When it was time to leave, Xiao Yutong went to pay the bill. Everyone tried to stop her, but no one dared approach except for Zhang Xin. “Director Xiao, please don’t. We’ve already pooled the money.”
Xiao Yutong: “Consider it a bonus from me for successfully landing the Lorca account.”
After Xiao Yutong said this, no one protested. As long as someone was paying, it was fine. However, after this experience, everyone felt a little closer to Director Xiao; perhaps she didn’t seem quite so high and mighty anymore.
The colleagues began to leave. A few female colleagues didn’t have cars, and Xiao Yutong didn’t feel comfortable letting them go home alone, so she offered to drive them. Fortunately, they all lived nearby, so it wouldn’t take long.
These female colleagues naturally included Song Xian. She strongly suspected Xiao Yutong only offered to drive everyone home just so she could easily get Song Xian into her car. Xiao Yutong, you clever girl.
To avoid suspicion, Song Xian sat in the back with the other two female colleagues. After the last person got out, she finally crawled from the back to the passenger seat and put on her sunglasses.
“Well, well, Director Xiao, quite the gentleman, aren’t you?” Song Xian said sarcastically.
Song Xian buckled her seatbelt, and Xiao Yutong started the car. “I suppose. But I can’t compare to Miss Song, who reigns supreme at the drinking table.”
Song Xian: “What, you don’t like me drinking?”
Xiao Yutong: “It’s not that I don’t like it. I just don’t want you to drink so much.”
Song Xian: “Actually, for the past few years, I’ve been drinking almost every day, sometimes until I’m blackout drunk. Because that way, I won’t wake up in the middle of the night, and it helps me fall asleep more easily.”
“I think you fall asleep easily even when you don’t drink,” at least during the days she’d slept with her. Not only did she fall asleep easily, but she slept quite well.
“That’s because you’re here.” Song Xian often said cheesy pick-up lines to amuse girls, but this time she meant it. As long as Xiao Yutong was by her side, even just holding her and doing nothing else, she could sleep soundly.
Anyone who had experienced such a life-or-death situation, who had seen such a bloody scene, especially at such a young age, would have trouble sleeping. That was why she needed alcohol to numb herself.
Xiao Yutong turned on the music in the car. Neon lights flashed outside the window. She turned to look at Song Xian.
Xiao Yutong: Song Xian, how did you endure that time?
