Desert Island Girl (Pure Lily) - Chapter 20
Finding a suitable campsite settled everyone’s decision, so Mu Xiaoyang returned alone to the beach, where she saw Mu Mu tying several steel frame bundles together.
Seeing Mu Xiaoyang return from the forest, Mu Mu dragged the frames and hoisted a bundle taller than herself.
“How’s it going, Xiaoyang? Found a good spot?”
“Yeah! Not only did we find a spot, but we also discovered a river! You wouldn’t believe it, Mu Mu, the fish are huge! Miss was drooling, wanting fish soup! Haha,” Mu Xiaoyang said.
Thinking of Jiang Ning’s sulky expression, Mu Xiaoyang couldn’t help but laugh.
“Heh, really?” Mu Mu’s lips curled into a smile.
“No time for that today. Tomorrow, we’ll let Ning satisfy her craving. Today, we must set up the tent. Even if we sleep outside, we need to move the supplies inside!”
“Got it. Let’s go—want me to carry a bundle of frames?” Mu Xiaoyang asked, pointing at the steel frames in Mu Mu’s hands.
Mu Mu shook her head and tossed her a small package.
“No need, but you can take this, Xiaoyang.”
“Hm? What’s this?” Mu Xiaoyang asked, unzipping it.
Her eyes widened, and she looked at Mu Mu excitedly.
“Flashlights?!”
Yes! The package held four or five brand-new black flashlights.
Smiling slightly, Mu Mu explained, “Strong beam flashlights, too. I found them when I went back for the frames. Now we have light at night—but use them sparingly.”
“Got it!” Mu Xiaoyang nodded eagerly, pulling one out to admire like a child with a new toy.
Taking in the forest’s beauty again, Mu Xiaoyang and Mu Mu soon returned to the clearing.
Notably, while crossing the river, the tent fabric was too tall and risked getting wet, so Mu Mu threw it across like a shot put, leaving Mu Xiaoyang stunned.
Safely delivering the tent to the site, the five girls gathered on the yellowish clearing, exchanging glances filled with pre-battle excitement.
When Yi Yun and Mu Xiaoyang locked eyes, Yi Yun winked at her seductively…
Mu Xiaoyang’s cheeks flushed.
She understood that the five of them were connected. If she and Yi Yun started, Lin Tingting, Mu Mu, and Jiang Ning wouldn’t escape, and it would turn into a lewd free-for-all…
But… that sounded pretty thrilling!
Feeling inexplicably elated, the girls were ready, lacking only the final push.
Opening the fabric and unpacking the frames, the girls got to work.
“Xiaoyang! Pass me a half-meter steel pipe,” Yi Yun called.
“Sure, this one?” Mu Xiaoyang asked.
“Of course, my dear,” Yi Yun replied.
“Hey, Ning? That fabric shouldn’t go on top, right?” Lin Tingting asked.
“Huh? Why not? Are you doubting your sister’s skills, Tingting? Look, it fits perfectly,” Jiang Ning said.
“It looks like the outer waterproof fabric. We need the inner lining…”
Lin Tingting pointed out.
“Mu Mu?! I-I’m not messing around! Don’t hit me!” Jiang Ning squeaked.
“What are you talking about? Why would I hit you?” Mu Mu asked, confused.
Since the tent was old and had no instructions, the girls fumbled through assembly, trying different approaches.
Fortunately, the tent’s structure was simple.
After an hour of playful chaos, two wrong assemblies, flipped fabric, and shaky frames, the girls finally got the large tent standing!
“Haha! Look, this Miss did it!” Jiang Ning said, hands on her hips, standing proudly before the green tent—about four meters wide, ten meters long, and three meters high—her chin practically touching the sky.
Stepping forward, Mu Xiaoyang wiped her dirty face and smiled.
“No… we did it.”
The tent used canvas, Oxford cloth, and waterproof fabric, built sturdy and reliable.
It had a zippered door, four windows with mesh and plexiglass, and spots for hanging lights inside and out.
It wasn’t easy…
Looking at the tent, Yi Yun brushed back her hair and nodded satisfied.
“Yep, we did it. With this shelter, our basic living needs are secure.”
“Sisters! Can I put some decorations inside?” Lin Tingting asked, clasping her hands, beaming.
“Of course! As long as you don’t bring in bugs or spiders, decorate however you want!” Jiang Ning said, waving grandly.
Before her words faded, Jiang Ning suddenly coughed violently!
Clutching her mouth, she frowned, looking in pain.
This startled the others. Mu Xiaoyang quickly asked, “Miss?! What’s wrong?”
Oh no… was she sick?!
“Cough! Cough cough! Whew… whew…”
Jiang Ning caught her breath, her pained expression easing.
She clenched the fist that covered her mouth, her face brightening.
“Phew! Sorry… I talked too fast and choked on my saliva…”
She stuck out her tongue, embarrassed.
The girls sighed in relief. Yi Yun glared at her. “Can you stop being so dramatic? First Anna, now this! You’re scaring us to death!”
“I… I was just anxious!” Jiang Ning said, puffing up.
“I’m scared Tingting will bring a giant spider! And aren’t you scared? Besides, Anna really is my good friend! What’s dramatic about that?”
“I won’t keep spiders—at least not here. Stop arguing!” Lin Tingting said, waving her hands nervously, not wanting the sisters to fight over her.
Mu Xiaoyang chimed in, “Yeah, don’t bicker. We still have supplies to move. Let’s go.”
Sighing deeply, Yi Yun gave up on Jiang Ning, shaking her head and heading to the beach.
“Let’s go, Miss,” Mu Xiaoyang said, nodding at Jiang Ning, following the others.
Seeing everyone leave, Jiang Ning opened her clenched fist, wiping it on her pants, and hurried after them. “Hey! Wait for this Miss!”
When she wiped, a red bloodstain appeared, quickly soaking into the fabric, turning into a dark, wet patch…
Near evening, all the supplies finally reached the tent.
With Mu Mu’s incredible strength, she carried most of the heavy items, working like a tireless ox, worrying the other girls.
Even Mu Mu, rarely tired, drank two bottles of water…
Though the tent was large, fitting desks and wardrobes inside proved challenging.
With no other choice, the girls placed desks and wardrobes around the tent as a makeshift barrier, while snacks and fruit went inside—these were their lifelines, and even if they slept outside, the supplies had to stay safe.
Reassembling bunk beds in the tent, evening arrived. Jiang Ning, seemingly exhausted, ate a quick dinner and went to bed early.
The other girls were equally worn out, and Mu Xiaoyang had little energy for anything intimate with Yi Yun…
Oh well, there’s plenty of time… No rush. Even if they got rescued, they could still meet up and have fun!
Thinking of the girls’ alluring, soft bodies and private parts, Mu Xiaoyang’s cheeks warmed, her heart fluttering.
That night, she and the others slept in the warm, cozy tent, feeling “home” on the island for the first time…
