Disappointing Teleportation Magic ~ Even Though The Movement Distance Is Only 1 Millimeter, I Will Rise Through Ingenuity ~ - Chapter 1.1
“Hey, wait a minute! Where else am I supposed to go if you tell me to leave…”
“Shut up! This is the barracks for fighters. There’s no place for cowards here!”
“Yeah, just get lost, coward!”
“You stink, you scum!”
Returning to the dormitory after a day’s work, Yuto was greeted with insults and his belongings being thrown at him by his classmates.
“If you keep whining, I’ll set them on fire!”
“It’s hot! Don’t joke around, this isn’t funny… ugh!”
From the swung right arm of Kawamoto, fireballs about 30 centimeters in diameter were released one after another.
The fireball grazed his face, emitting an unpleasant smell of burnt hair.
If one of those hit directly, it wouldn’t end well.
Hastily gathering the few pieces of clothing he had, Yuto turned his back on Kawamoto and dashed away.
“Did you see that guy Kirikaze? He looked like he was about to scream in fear.”
“Hahaha, he’s seriously a coward, that guy.”
“Being useless and a coward on top of that, he’s the worst, hahaha…”
Despite trying to outrun the mockery of his classmates, Yuto had nowhere to go.
This wasn’t Japan, nor was it Earth.
“Darn it… They get carried away just because they can use magic, get eaten by goblins… no, that’s going too far. Ah, if only I could use magic properly…”
About twenty days ago, myself, Yuto Kirikaze, and thirty-six classmates were summoned to another world during a school trip.
While on a sightseeing bus, we were engulfed in a dazzling light, only to be thrown into an entirely unknown place.
“Hey, where is this?”
“Why did it suddenly become night?”
“This, could it be…”
Naturally, our classmates were in an uproar. Despite it being daytime just a moment ago, a huge full moon hung in the sky.
We were in a place like a ceremonial site paved with cut stones, with several bonfires burning around.
“Don’t make a fuss! Silence!”
At the same time as the bearded giant in metal armor roared from a raised platform, the soldiers surrounding us raised their spears in unison.
The tips of the spears, reflecting the bonfires dimly, looked undeniably real.
We were unarmed, and they were fully armed and outnumbered us. There was no way we could resist.
“From here on, I, Aurelia, the first princess of the Kingdom of Yulefeld, will give you my words. Listen carefully!”
As the bearded giant, who seemed to be about two meters tall, bowed and stepped aside, a woman with emerald green hair dressed in luxurious attire stood up from her chair.
She appeared to be in her early twenties, thin, and looked nervous.
“Young men from another world, you have done well to come here. Work for this country and be prepared to risk your lives.”
With just those words, the first princess sat back in her chair, arrogantly arching her thin chest.
Completely unable to grasp the situation, we were dumbfounded. Once again, the bearded giant shouted at us.
“It is supposed that you have been given the ability to understand language and supernatural powers at the time of summoning. Use those abilities to fight for the Kingdom of Yulefeld and achieve results. If you do so, you will be rewarded accordingly. Of course, you have no right to refuse, and there is no way to return to your original world.”
