Disappointing Teleportation Magic ~ Even Though The Movement Distance Is Only 1 Millimeter, I Will Rise Through Ingenuity ~ - Chapter 15.3
“Seriously, we’re risking our lives in battle, and you’re out here having fun with a girl?”
Araseli quickly stood up and whispered in my ear, “Hang your bag so you can move freely.”
“Hey, we just met again. Where are you going?”
“Well, we’re not letting you go anywhere…”
When Sawatari glanced in a certain direction, I saw Matsui, Takeda, and Umeki approaching us from behind, surrounding us. Naturally, all three of them had swords.
“What do you want?”
“What do we want? Don’t play dumb. You sold us out, didn’t you?”
“In retaliation for being kicked out, you sent us into a dangerous forest where orcs were lying in wait, didn’t you?”
As Kawamoto and Sawatari shouted with bloodshot eyes, the customers at nearby tables got up to avoid getting involved in the commotion.
“What are you talking about? Sold you out? Sent you?”
“Ah, I don’t want to hear your useless excuses.”
“Instead, come with us for a bit, alright?”
“Come with you…?”
“Yeah, we train every day to fight monsters, but there aren’t any in town.”
“What are you saying…”
“Kirikaze, you play the monster for us… Ugh…”
Just as Kawamoto and Sawatari raised their drawn swords and charged, Araseli, who had been hiding behind me, swiftly moved like the wind and kicked both of them in the groin.
The kick was strong enough to lift Kawamoto and Sawatari off the ground slightly. They collapsed with voiceless screams.
“This way!”
Araseli grabbed my hand and started running, jumping over the fallen Kawamoto and Sawatari. She threw chairs and kicked over tables to block the path of Matsui and the others, who hesitated for a moment before chasing after us.
“Damn it, what do you mean I sold you out? I didn’t do anything!”
“I didn’t understand the details, but they were probably fed some lies by the second prince’s faction.”
As we ran from the park to the street and I looked back, Kawamoto and Sawatari were no longer in sight, but Matsui and the others were still chasing us.
“Don’t run away!”
“Stop! Coward!”
“We’ll beat you up and gang rape the girl!”
Summoned to a different world where Japanese laws don’t apply, it seems their sense of morality has completely broken down. The sight of the three with drawn swords caused screams from those around us.
Araseli seems quite skilled, but unlike the unsuspecting Kawamoto and the others, Matsui and his group are attacking with intent to kill, and it’s too risky to face them unarmed.
“Yuto, this way!”
Araseli pulled me into a side street from the main road. The narrow alley, just wide enough for two adults to pass each other, seemed like a shortcut but also a potential trap if we were ambushed ahead.
“Lost puppy!”
Suddenly, Araseli’s voice echoed down the alley, and a door appeared in what looked like a solid wall.
“Get in… and keep going straight.”
Inside the door, which looked like a wall from outside, was a narrow passageway. Following Araseli’s lead, we walked down the passage, and the wall-like entrance behind us closed with a loud noise.
When the sound of pounding on the wall made me stop, Araseli pulled my arm strongly.
“It’s alright. This structure won’t budge from mere sword strikes.”
While I had anticipated an attack from the second prince’s faction, I never imagined being assaulted by classmates wielding weapons.
