Divorcee O Finds Me Irresistible - Chapter 14
Fu Shuang was wrapped in a light-colored bath towel, most of which was used to cover her ample chest. Even so, it seemed barely adequate, revealing tantalizing glimpses of her curves and deep cleavage that sparked endless fantasies with a single glance.
Xu Qing struggled to maintain her composure, her gaze slowly drifting downward. Fu Shuang’s jade-like legs still radiated warmth, droplets of water tracing paths down her inner thighs, gliding over her delicate, creamy ankles, and dripping onto the damp, reflective floor.
The hospital matron had been right: Fu Shuang’s legs were exceptionally beautiful, captivating anyone who saw them. Though she stood at only around 165 centimeters tall, her upper and lower body proportions perfectly aligned with the golden ratio of aesthetic appeal. This gave her legs a few extra inches in length, precisely those inches that set her apart from other women.
If her chest was a fatal weapon against men, her figure—proportioned according to female beauty standards—and her sweet, innocent appearance perfectly embodied the ideal of a “daughter.” Combined with her honeyed words and charming demeanor, it’s no wonder she was so universally adored.
If she were just a few centimeters taller, she might not be so approachable and beloved.
Xu Qing’s thoughts wandered aimlessly. When she looked up again, Fu Shuang had already darted away, hiding behind a bedroom door. “Older Sister! When did you get back?!” she exclaimed in a panic.
Koala, who had been nestled in Xu Qing’s arms, wriggled free and escaped with a meow, chasing after Fu Shuang. The cat seemed puzzled by Fu Shuang’s hiding place behind the door.
“Sorry… I forgot to tell you I was coming,” Xu Qing said, her voice heavy from the mild concussion. Her bl00d felt like it was surging and churning. She touched her nose and confirmed that bl00d was seeping out.
Thank goodness no one saw me in this disheveled, pathetic state.
“I… I didn’t grab any clothes,” Fu Shuang said from behind the door. “Older Sister, could you get them for me?”
“Which ones?” Xu Qing tried her best to sound composed.
“The nightgown on the sofa,” Fu Shuang peeked out, one hand clutching the bath towel at her chest while the other pointed toward the living room’s armchair. “The yellow one.”
Xu Qing struggled to her feet, waiting for the dizziness to subside slightly before retrieving the nightgown from the sofa and handing it to Fu Shuang.
Even though we’ve differentiated into different genders, we’re both women. There’s really no need to be so reserved, Xu Qing thought to herself. She asked gently, “Is there anything else you need?”
“P-please…” Fu Shuang’s voice trailed off, her face flushing crimson.
Xu Qing didn’t catch what she said and leaned closer. “What was that?”
As Xu Qing approached, Fu Shuang gasped involuntarily and whispered with all her might, “In… inhibitor.”
Understanding dawned on Xu Qing. She retreated several steps, lifted her arm, and sniffed herself. Though faint, she could indeed detect a trace of pheromones she shouldn’t be emitting.
This reaction was wrong. Even when drugged at the Fu Family estate, Xu Qing hadn’t reacted to the scent of Omega pheromones.
The glands on her neck began to swell slightly. Overwhelmed with shame, Xu Qing stammered, “I’m so sorry! I’ll get it for you right away!”
“On the coffee table… no, wait, it should be on the TV stand…”
Xu Qing searched everywhere, while Fu Shuang watched her through the door, weakly saying, “Keep looking, I can’t quite remember…”
“It’s not here. Not in the entryway, not in your bag,” Xu Qing said. “Did you forget it somewhere else? Should I go buy you some?”
“Ah, right!” Fu Shuang suddenly remembered. “I ordered new ones online! They should be in the delivery box by the door. Can you check for me?”
There were indeed two delivery boxes by the door. Xu Qing checked the labels, opened the box from the “Omega Care Center,” and found a batch of brand-new Omega suppressants inside.
She opened one and quickly brought it to Fu Shuang.
Fu Shuang thanked her, closed the bedroom door, and collapsed weakly onto the floor.
Xu Qing went to take a shower, hoping the physical cooling would calm her down.
The bathroom was steamy, and Fu Shuang’s discarded clothes lay in a pile nearby. The pale lace panties and semi-transparent bra stood out starkly. Xu Qing dared not imagine how stunning Fu Shuang would look wearing them; even the world’s top lingerie runway couldn’t compare.
Damn, I’d even settle for just a whiff of her pheromones.
Cold water cascaded over Xu Qing’s head as she desperately tried to clear her chaotic thoughts. She grabbed the inhibitor bottle from the windowsill and sprayed a pump into her mouth and nose.
An utterly unfamiliar scent flooded her nostrils. Xu Qing staggered, clutching the slick bathroom wall as she collapsed.
Dazed, she examined the bottle and realized the label was different from her usual one—
This was an inhibitor for Omegas, the very one Fu Shuang had spent ages searching for earlier!
The sweet fragrance filled the cramped bathroom. Xu Qing steadied herself against the sink and glanced into the mirror. There, she saw a woman in a bra and lace panties striking provocative poses.
This was a classic side effect of using the wrong inhibitor: hallucinations.
Xu Qing stared unblinking at the hallucination in the mirror. The figure winked at her, pressed a finger to her lips, and made a playful, coquettish expression.
Xu Qing pressed her hand against the mirror. Through her blurred vision, she saw the woman behind her lean closer, wrap her arms around her from behind, and whisper softly, “Older Sister, you smell so good.”
Xu Qing’s rational mind recognized the illusion, yet her senses were completely deceived. She could even feel the embrace, the wetness of the other woman’s body, her full, alluring figure pressed against her back.
Even if it’s just for this moment, I’ll indulge.
The air seemed to have been sucked from her lungs. She forgot to breathe, enduring the suffocating pain as she recklessly surrendered to the false sense of being needed.
Knock, knock. Two sharp knocks echoed on the bathroom door.
Xu Qing opened her eyes. The illusion in the mirror faded slightly, but she could still faintly see its seductive smile.
Unconsciously, Xu Qing let the illusion lead her astray, her rationality once again faltering.
Knock, knock, knock! Two more forceful knocks rattled the door. Fu Shuang’s voice called from outside, “Older Sister?”
“Older Sister, are you alright?”
Through the bathroom’s frosted glass door, a blurry yellow figure hovered anxiously, listening intently for any sound from within.
When no response came, Fu Shuang tried the doorknob, calling out, “Older Sister, can you hear me?”
Xu Qing gasped sharply, swallowed hard, and replied, “I’m here!”
“Oh, you scared me half to death!” Fu Shuang sighed in relief. “I heard you fall and then didn’t hear any movement for ages. I was worried something had happened to you in there.”
Xu Qing’s lips twitched into a faint smile. “I’m fine now.”
“I almost called 120,” Fu Shuang said, still shaken. “Older Sister, please don’t lock the door when you shower next time! I promise I won’t peek!”
“Really?” Xu Qing wiped the steam from the mirror and chuckled softly. “You nearly broke the door down just now.”
Fu Shuang laughed heartily, mumbled something under her breath, and wandered off. Xu Qing turned the shower back on, drenching herself in cold water.
The hallucination had been too intense; this lingering sense of loss felt far more real.
Emerging from the bathroom, Xu Qing changed into shorts and a t-shirt, casually tying her long black hair into a topknot. She immediately spotted Fu Shuang curled up on the sofa, hugging her knees and watching TV. Her duck-print pajamas made her look like a tiny, bundled-up ball.
Xu Qing hesitated: should she go over and say hello, or just head straight to bed?
Living together was proving more challenging than she’d anticipated. So many issues had already surfaced in just one night. Xu Qing doubted whether she could maintain a harmonious relationship with her Omega younger sister.
“Older Sister, are you hungry?”
Seeing Xu Qing had finished showering, Fu Shuang paused the TV with the remote and leaned forward to speak to her.
“Not really hungry, why?” Xu Qing smiled at her. “Were you waiting for me?”
“You caught me!” Fu Shuang hopped off the sofa, grabbed a stack of bills from the coffee table, and padded barefoot over to Xu Qing. “Older Sister, I’m treating you to late-night snacks tonight!”
Xu Qing glanced at the thick wad of cash in her hand, her eyes widening. “Did you strike it rich?”
“I made a small fortune today! I found the kid who crashed his bike and showed the video to his guardian. This is the compensation they agreed to give you. Guess how much?” Fu Shuang blinked mischievously, her complexion already noticeably brighter than before.
Money truly could heal many things, Xu Qing thought, sharing in her joy.
It seemed like ages since she’d felt this kind of happiness. Living alone for so long, combined with her reserved nature, had always given people the impression that she was unapproachable.
Apart from Fu Shuang, few people ever initiated conversations with her so readily.
The stack of bills was at least five millimeters thick. Xu Qing narrowed her eyes and deliberately guessed low, “Two thousand?”
Fu Shuang pouted. “Much more than that!”
Xu Qing feigned surprise. “Wow! No way it’s three thousand, is it? How did you manage that?!”
Fu Shuang’s pout instantly transformed into a smug grin. She raised an eyebrow. “Older Sister, your imagination is terrible! There’s a full eight thousand here! Didn’t expect that, did you?”
Xu Qing was genuinely shocked, looking Fu Shuang up and down. “I can’t believe it! How did you manage to do that?”
Fu Shuang smiled mysteriously. “I’m not telling you!”
“Did you really get eight thousand? Or did you get ten thousand and pocket two thousand for yourself?” Xu Qing joked.
Fu Shuang’s expression froze momentarily before she protested, “How could you think that of me, Older Sister?”
Xu Qing laughed. “I’m just teasing! I wasn’t planning on keeping the money anyway. The insurance company has already started processing the claim, so I won’t lose anything. I’ll just have to wait for the car to be repaired. Since you helped me get the compensation, you can keep it.”
“Really?” Fu Shuang asked.
Xu Qing nodded. “Just take the money and treat me to a meal.”
Fu Shuang excitedly hugged Xu Qing, her joy practically radiating from her. “Thank you, Older Sister!”
The sudden hug caught Xu Qing off guard; her hands barely touched Fu Shuang’s body before the younger woman released her and passionately kissed the stack of bills.
Xu Qing briefly savored the hug, then frowned as she mentally calculated Fu Shuang’s earnings for the day:
Not only had she earned her regular wages, but she had also received compensation from Xu Qing and a substantial settlement.
Over ten thousand yuan in a single day—a real windfall.
Even Xu Qing would be ecstatic with such a haul.
