Don’t Mess With Him, His Seven Senior Sisters Are Too Fierce - Chapter 11:
Chapter 11: Young Master, Is That You?
Just as Ye Tian was about to lose his temper, Li Shanhe’s face darkened and he cut off his wife.
“Hui Juan!”
“Young people should handle their own relationships. Don’t meddle in everything—it makes me look narrow-minded and controlling.”
“I was just trying to—”
“That’s enough!”
Chastised by her husband, Yin Huijuan finally shut her mouth and dared not speak again.
Afterward, Li Shanhe turned to Ye Tian with a softened tone.
“Ye Tian, I’m sorry. My wife is just sharp-tongued, not truly malicious.”
He wasn’t saying this just to comfort Ye Tian. As the head of the family, he had been too ill to manage Muqing’s personal affairs. But now that he was recovering, he couldn’t just sit back and let his wife make a mess of things.
“It’s fine. I only came to repay a debt of gratitude. My relationship with Muqing isn’t like what you might think,” Ye Tian replied with a light shake of his head.
He could understand what her mother meant. After all, what parent didn’t want their daughter to have a carefree life?
Perhaps she was simply afraid that if Muqing stayed with him, she’d live a wandering, difficult life.
But then Ye Tian smiled to himself.
Yes, they weren’t even close to that point. He was here to repay a debt. Muqing never once said she wanted to be with him.
Realizing he had been overthinking it, Ye Tian felt a lot more at ease.
“Hahaha, who knows how things will turn out for young people?” Li Shanhe laughed heartily, feeling great now that his health was returning and Ye Tian was so understanding.
Just then—
Ding-dong!
The clear sound of the doorbell rang out.
Yin Huijuan lit up with joy. “It must be Lin Zixuan.”
“What’s he doing here? Who told him to come?” A trace of annoyance flickered across Li Muqing’s beautiful face. That pest had been clinging to her for years. If it weren’t for the close ties between the Lin and Li families, she would’ve torn into him ages ago.
Lin Zixuan wasn’t just shallow—he was a regular at massage parlors and nightclubs, always bragging about Michelin-starred meals and luxury cars, yet clueless about business and the stock market.
A total dandy. Completely useless.
Li Shanhe also frowned.
“Just make an excuse and send him away. This kid didn’t even visit while I was sick. Now that I’m recovering, he suddenly wants to show up and play the good guy?”
“Honey, you can’t say that.” Yin Huijuan hurried to defend him.
“You only just woke up. Who could’ve known so quickly that you were getting better? Zixuan probably planned to visit earlier but got busy with work. That’s the only reason he’s coming now.”
“A junior coming to pay his respects—how could we not welcome him? That would be too heartless.”
She sounded completely reasonable.
In truth, she was the one who had just sent him the message. The Lin and Li homes weren’t far apart—he could arrive in minutes.
“You…” Li Shanhe shook his head in exasperation.
Busy with work? Please. The two families had known each other for years—he knew exactly what kind of person Lin Zixuan was.
“Fine, let him come if he wants. I’ll deal with him.” Though she was annoyed, Li Muqing didn’t protest. With both families so close, she didn’t want her father to feel awkward.
“Muqing, you’re just too kind,” Li Shanhe sighed, not stopping her.
In matters between families, you couldn’t afford to act rashly.
Soon, a young man in a custom-tailored suit with messy styled hair strode through the door.
He was somewhat handsome, but his heavy dark circles were clearly visible even under concealer.
“Muqing! Long time no see!” he said the moment he saw her. Without hesitation, he opened his arms for a hug.
“Get lost,” she said flatly, dodging his approach.
The young man wasn’t fazed. He grinned and casually looked around.
“Where’s Uncle Li? I’ll go check on him.”
“No need. My dad’s not feeling well. He’s not seeing anyone,” Li Muqing said with a pout, her face darkening.
She was already frustrated. Ye Tian had just cured her father, and she had wanted to thank him properly—maybe treat him to dinner. But now this arrogant clown had barged in and ruined everything.
“And who’s this?” Lin Zixuan suddenly glanced at Ye Tian as if noticing him for the first time.
Wearing plain clothes, cloth shoes, with his hair tied back…
What is he—a Taoist priest?
Lin Zixuan sneered inwardly. Must be some charlatan Li Shanhe hired out of desperation.
He didn’t know Li Shanhe had already recovered—Yin Huijuan had only called him over just now.
“This is my friend, Ye Tian. A great benefactor of our Li family,” Li Muqing said coldly. “Please show some respect and lose that arrogant look.”
A charlatan, just as I thought!
Lin Zixuan was quite pleased with himself. He was sure he had guessed right.
Still, something about the name Ye Tian sounded oddly familiar…
“Perfect timing—it’s dinner hour. Muqing, let’s go to Tianhe Flavors,” Lin Zixuan said, trying to act attentive.
His eyes, however, were brazenly scanning Li Muqing’s body.
This girl just gets prettier every day… When will I get a taste of her? he thought shamelessly.
“Fine.”
…
Half an hour later, a Porsche Panamera sped to a halt outside Tianhe Flavors.
The towering building had a unique design. At a glance, it was clearly a high-end restaurant, with cuisines from around the world illustrated in ukiyo-e style on the walls—fresh, artistic, and clever.
As they stepped out of the car, Lin Zixuan looked disgruntled.
Why did this bumpkin have to tag along?
He glanced at Ye Tian, who was staring at the building in a daze.
“What’re you looking at, bumpkin?” he muttered under his breath, visibly annoyed.
This was Tianhe Flavors—the most famous and exclusive restaurant in Zhongdu. Of course, a backwater hick like him was shocked.
That thought gave Lin Zixuan a burst of smug superiority.
But Ye Tian’s gaze wasn’t out of awe—it was a mix of emotion and nostalgia.
So I’m back again…
Staring up at the familiar architecture, he couldn’t help but space out.
Tianhe Flavors… had once been a property of the Ye family. Even the massive ukiyo-e mural on the building had been designed by his own hand.
Back when it first opened, Tianhe Flavors attracted Zhongdu’s elite with its authentic international dishes and creative aesthetic. It quickly became a sensation, nearly driving Michelin and other top restaurants out of the city.
But now… whose hands had it fallen into?
“Let’s go. I already reserved a table,” Lin Zixuan said proudly as they entered.
“Do you know how hard it is to get a table here? Reservations are booked out for a week!”
“Luckily, the Lin family supplies one of their key ingredients—we’ve got VIP privileges!”
He even raised an eyebrow at Li Muqing, trying to impress her.
But she didn’t even glance at him.
“Young Master, is that you?!”
A voice suddenly rang out as the three stepped into the restaurant.
