Double Junk - 32
Chapter 32
The word “thug” wasn’t particularly offensive to Seokju. Gangster, thug, bastard, f***ing son of a b****, motherf***er – he had heard such words before.
Seokju didn’t have enough conscience to reject such titles. He knew he was a bad guy, but he tried to live a slightly more decent life among the bad guys.
Ajin chuckled at Seokju’s audacity. He’s a really strange boss. When Ajin raised his head in amazement, Seokju led him toward the study and placed him in his chair. The chair, with its soft padding and leather cover, was large and comfortable, bearing Seokju’s scent.
Ajin attempted to stand up, asking why he was here, but Seokju opened the attic door behind the study and took something out, placing it on the desk.
It was a bottle. Slightly longer than a soju bottle, with a peculiar shape. Oh, right, it looked similar to cider, but it contained a black liquid. There was some curly writing on it.
Ajin stared at it intently. Then he turned his head to Seokju.
“Is it soy sauce?”
Seokju, who had been proudly smiling, squinted his eyes, then opened them wide. For a moment, it seemed like he had a distant look in his eyes.
“No, it’s cola.”
“Cola?”
“You don’t know what cola is?”
“I don’t.”
Seokju looked surprised as if it was unexpected. Ajin thought he might have seen it at least once because he had worked in a hotel, even if it was a fake one. Besides, it was a popular trend in Seoul these days, imported in large quantities. But he had no idea.
Seokju explained cola in a gentle voice.
“It’s a popular drink in the United States. It’s sweet and fizzy, like cider, but a bit different.”
Ajin stared at the bottle once more. It didn’t look like a refreshing drink. It tasted strange, and he thought it might make him sick. It was like taking medicine. Ajin touched the bottle with his fingertip. It felt cold and glassy.
“It doesn’t look like cola. It’s like gugjeongmul (a traditional Korean beverage).”
Even if he looked closely, it didn’t seem like a drink. The taste was unusual, and he felt like he would get sick if he drank it. At best, it was like a medicinal drink. Ajin spoke while poking the bottle with his finger.
“It’s not gugjeongmul. It’s delicious. Myungjin loves it and drinks it in the office. The others like it too. It’s even exchanged for a box of Philophon 10g.”
At the lengthy explanation, Ajin reluctantly nodded. Well, okay.
“But why are you showing me this? Are you bragging?”
Seokju burst into laughter at those words. He didn’t think he would call a servant to show off a soft drink. Anyway, Ajin’s idea was unusual. At the same time, it was cheeky.
Seokju pushed the bottle toward Ajin.
“I’m giving it to you.”
Ajin’s lips twisted awkwardly. It was a gift, but he didn’t feel good about it. The money Seokju had given, the apples, the food, the medicine – none of it felt right, but this time it was especially not to his liking. It felt like receiving crap as a gift.
Ajin turned his head to the side, his voice trembling.
“Do I… have to take it?”
Seokju closed his mouth tightly. This… this… it wasn’t the reaction he expected. He wanted to give him one first and, if he liked it, bring him a few every day and watch him enjoy it in front of him. But giving money, apples, food, medicine, all of it was strange, but this time, it was particularly not what he expected.
What should he do? Seokju, who was contemplating, took out the bottle cap.
“Give it a try.”
With a click, he opened the bottle. He poured the dark cola into a crystal glass. The black liquid bubbled in the expensive glass. It made a sound as if bubbles were bursting and, even though no one touched it, tiny drops of water rose upward.
Ajin slightly protruded his lower lip. It seemed like Seokju was angry. That’s why he was punishing him in a new way.
“Ajin, it’s okay,” Seokju reassured Ajin, who was hesitating.
“Look.”
With that, he took two large sips of the cola. Ajin watched his throat move as he swallowed. Seokju didn’t grimace or gag; he merely licked his lower lip lightly.
He poured more cola into the glass and handed it to Ajin, who reluctantly accepted it. With a face like a cow being led to the slaughter, Ajin looked at Seokju and then took a sip of the drink.
“…”
Ajin’s eyes widened. He stared intently at the liquid in the glass and then took several more sips in succession. Seokju chuckled and patted Ajin’s head.
“Is it good?”
“Yes.”
Ajin nodded without hesitation. The taste was surprisingly delicious. It was sweet, refreshing, and had a slightly different, unique flavor. Drinking it felt like a hole was being drilled in his throat, and his head cleared as if by a magic potion.
Ajin sipped the cola with delight, but he couldn’t drink too much at once. It was so good that it was almost like a panacea. Ajin mumbled in amazement.
“It’s amazing…”
Seokju burst into laughter, amused by Ajin’s childish reactions. It was funny to see Ajin, who made sounds like an old man. Maybe it was because he didn’t have friends his age.
“Finish it.”
“Can I drink it all?”
“Yeah, it’s all yours.”
Seokju casually replied and brought a simple wooden chair. He gently pushed Ajin while sitting down at the desk, and then he picked up a pen to continue his work.
The sight of Ajin sitting in the large chair while Seokju used a simple wooden one might have been strange, but they didn’t notice it themselves.
Ajin, now full of energy thanks to the magical drink, swayed documents to fan Seokju. Occasionally, he wiped the sweat from Seokju’s neck with his fingers or the back of his hand.
The room fell into silence, with only the sounds of crickets and cicadas coming in through the wide-open sliding doors. Seokju scanned various documents and wrote in ledgers, while Ajin diligently drank his cola.
Ajin’s hand, which doubled as a fan, moved the documents busily. However, he paused briefly when drinking the cola. It was so cute. Seokju had to suppress his laughter like a foolish guy.
Time passed quietly. Ajin finally finished the entire bottle of cola. He made a small belch, and Seokju burst into laughter once again. It was amusing to see Ajin acting like an old man who didn’t have peers. Seokju was happy.
Seokju gently brushed Ajin’s forehead. Ajin looked at the empty cola bottle and asked, “Boss?”
“Yes.”
“Can I keep this bottle?”
Seokju’s expression twisted. His eyebrow arched upwards slightly.
“…You didn’t want money, and now you want this bottle?”
“Yes.”
“It’s just this?”
“It’s pretty, isn’t it?”
Ajin gently stroked the bottle from the mouth to the bottom. Seokju felt dizzy all of a sudden. While he was naturally quite s3xually active, he had never felt aroused by someone’s fingers. But he was experiencing a lot of firsts lately.
Seokju discreetly crossed his legs. In his heart, he wished he could lay Ajin down immediately, caress his ass, and take him right there, but his last s3xual encounter was only two days ago, so it couldn’t happen.
The day after that last encounter, Ajin had been ill. If he threw him down right now, he might earn Ajin’s resentment.
Seokju let out a sigh and suppressed his s3xual desire, firmly shaking his head.
“No.”
“Why not?”
Ajin’s eyes widened. He didn’t expect to be rejected.
“Don’t collect trash. I’ll give you more tomorrow.”
“Really?”
“Yeah.”
Ajin smiled happily at Seokju’s words. He could have this amazing drink again tomorrow. He felt triumphant. It gave him a sense of superiority that the others couldn’t even dream of such a taste. Ajin giggled and finished the remaining drops of cola.
Becoming someone special to Seokju was better than he had initially thought.
After that day, Seokju no longer summoned Ajin during the evening hours. However, things had already changed significantly. There were subtle rumors circulating among the workers.
“Why is Ajin so close to the boss?”
“Yeah, it’s strange. They are so different.”
“I heard that Ajin has been going somewhere every night.”
“Where is he going?”
“It seems like he’s going to the boss’s room. Maybe they’re…”
“They’re what?”
“Having s3x?”
“Are you crazy? Why would the boss have s3x with Ajin? He can have ten prostitutes at a time if he wants. Why would he mess around with a male servant from our house?”
“True. But Ajin, he’s so pale and delicate.”
“Yeah, he looks so different. His face…”
“His face?”
“How does Ajin even look? He always hides his face with his long hair.”
“That’s true. I can’t remember either. He looked quite cute when he was young, but ever since he grew up, he’s been hiding his face under that hair…”
“Well, in any case, they’re not having s3x.”
“Why? I think it’s possible…”
The most significant rumor was that Ajin and Seokju were engaging in some kind of activity every night, and that Ajin was so good at it that Seokju couldn’t keep his composure.
