- Dumped by One, Chased by Another? My Ex's Sister Is a Gal and She's Coming for Me
- Episode 63 - the Fall of other Man
At J Medical University, there’s a building dedicated to club activities.
That said, it’s only available to clubs officially recognized by the university.
For instance, unofficial volunteer groups don’t get their own clubrooms.
But conversely, officially sanctioned clubs do have those privileges.
Let me be clear:
The soccer club that Natsuyama belongs to has its own space in that building.
Normally, that room is ruled by Natsuyama—the self-proclaimed king of the soccer team—and his entourage.
But today, Natsuyama wasn’t there.
Instead, the rest of the team had gathered for a meeting.
And the topic was Natsuyama himself.

“Hey, are we going to be okay?”
“What do you mean, ‘okay’? I mean… we probably won’t win the tournament, but still…”
They had all heard the rumors about Natsuyama.
No one knew exactly how the information had leaked, but word had spread that he got injured during a fight with a woman.
That alone would’ve been bad enough.
But apparently, the woman in question was someone he’d cheated with—stolen from another man.
And worse, there were whispers that he had even gone after minors. The police were now involved.

“What are we supposed to do?”
“Yeah… seriously.”

The soccer team at J Medical University didn’t exactly have high motivation.
But it wasn’t that they were lazy or lacked commitment.
It was more about their perspective on soccer.
Most of the students at J Medical are, naturally, medical students. After graduation, they’ll go on to become doctors.
Which means they’re not under any pressure to take soccer seriously.
So even if they lose their ace player, it’s not a devastating blow.
Sure, they probably won’t get results in competitions—but that’s just the reality.
Injuries and absences happen all the time in sports. It’s unfortunate, but not uncommon.

“Honestly, isn’t the stuff with the girl way worse?”
“Yeah… it’s looking really bad.”

Yes. This is a serious problem.
Everyone on the team already knew about Natsuyama’s terrible behavior with women.
Even within the club, he constantly made inappropriate advances toward the manager.
And now they were hearing he’d gone after minors as well.
In short—he was a criminal.
And the consequences of a crime don’t stop with the criminal alone.
After all, Natsuyama is the captain of the soccer team.
If he gets arrested, the entire team’s reputation will suffer.
What will happen when they try to apply for jobs?

“It could all be just a rumor, right?”
“No, I heard it’s real. The girl he slept with… she’s apparently Akishima’s girlfriend.”
“Wait, that Akishima? Damn… poor guy.”

The whole soccer team sat there, heads in their hands, at a total loss.

“Yo, what’s up?”
Natsuyama walked into the clubroom as if nothing had happened.
Still on crutches.
And in that moment, everyone knew:
The rumors were definitely true.

“Tch. You guys all decided to meet without even asking me.”
“You bastard! What the hell are you thinking?!”
The vice-captain slammed his fist on the desk and shouted.

“What… what are you guys talking about?”
Natsuyama’s voice trembled, like he was about to throw up.

“Don’t screw with us, man…”
“We’ve turned a blind eye to your crap for a long time. Just because you’re older. Just because you’re the ace.”
“But going after a minor and getting the cops involved? Becoming a criminal? How much trouble are you going to cause before you’ve had enough?!”

The members had known Natsuyama was a womanizer.
But they hadn’t realized he’d gone as far as targeting underage girls.
That was a line no one expected him to cross.

“Shut the hell up! I’m the reason we even got results in tournaments! Useless losers like you don’t get to run your mouths at me!”
Natsuyama punched the wall, trying to intimidate them.
Just like he always had.

“…”
But no one flinched.
Of course they didn’t.
Natsuyama only had power when it was one-on-one.
In a situation like this, with no allies in the room—even the mighty Natsuyama had nothing to say.

“Damn it… fine! Don’t come crying to me later!”
He slammed the locker shut and stormed out of the room.

“So… what now?”
“Hey, why don’t we all just quit?”
“Quit? The club?”
“Yeah. I heard the tennis club’s pretty chill. Might try there.”
“Well, yeah. Better that than staying in a club with a criminal. Not like I’d make the starting lineup anymore anyway…”
“Guess we’ve got no choice…”

And so, by the end of that very day, every member of the soccer team—except Natsuyama—quit the club.
In a fit of rage, Natsuyama smashed his smartphone.
But even then, there was nothing he could do.
Just like that, Natsuyama lost something important.
Yet another summer mountain he’d failed to climb.
