Chapter 18: Do You Still Want Me to Take Off Your Clothes?
Yu Fu spoke softly, keeping her voice down. Only Lu Xuezhou, who was sitting closest to her, could hear her. The dim cabin also made Yu Fu feel like she and Lu Xuezhou were in a private space, causing her to blush and her heart to race.
She did not dare look at him. Holding her retrieved phone, her breathing was slightly trembling.
Fortunately, Lu Xuezhou did not take her boldness as a problem. He leaned forward and tapped the seat in front of Jiang Siwei. His voice was clear and had substance, not hoarse from sleeping: “How much longer?”
Jiang Siwei took off one of his earphones and casually gestured toward the window, “After we cross that bridge.”
Yu Fu’s gaze followed the sound, and she noticed that the sky outside was completely dark, eerily quiet. She suddenly thought of the message earlier and suspected it was from the despicable Yuan Yi, who had hypocritically inquired, likely trying to cause trouble.
Worried about how to face him, the car took a turn and suddenly stopped at a slightly higher spot. Yu Fu’s gaze wandered the outside environment, and beside her, Lu Xuezhou had already pushed the door open and got out. The muffled sound of the door closing, like a miraculous elixir, jolted her muddled thoughts.
Yu Fu quickly called out to Jiang Kan, who had just gotten out: “Can you tell those two that I’m changing my clothes in the car?”
“Okay, no rush.”
Jiang Kan closed the door, leaving only Yu Fu in the car.
It was not true that there was no rush. She was now anxiously flustered, with a rising heat surging within her, struggling in the darkness, making frequent mistakes. She couldn’t even determine the front and back of her pants, and the dress she had tried on countless times at home was now stuck, the zipper refusing to budge.
She was angry and heated.
Suddenly, the car door beside her was pulled open from the outside.
“Ah…”
Yu Fu cried out in alarm. Despite her clothes being intact, she instinctively covered her chest.
But it was too dark. With only the light from the phone flashlight she had left on the backseat, she could barely make out the outline of the person. It was Jiang Siwei, of all people, a relative stranger who didn’t evoke any possessive feelings in her.
“Is there… something?”
In the dark and windy night, with just the two of them, she couldn’t hide her trepidation.
The tall figure lightly held the car door, his voice lazy: “Jiang Kan asked me to keep you company, in case you were scared.”
It seemed like he was forced to come.
Yu Fu felt a bit awkward, but considering the dire situation, she had no choice. She brushed the messy strands of hair falling by her cheek, released the hands protecting her chest, and asked hesitantly and tentatively, “Uncle… can you help me with the zipper on my dress…”
To avoid misunderstanding, she hurriedly explained, “It’s stuck, and I can’t take it off…”
Both inside and outside the car, it was pitch black.
Jiang Siwei’s mouth curled up slightly, a subtle arc that couldn’t hide his arrogance. The arm resting on the car door tightened, and his tall figure leaned forward, his magnetic voice impatient: “Turn around.”
It was a commanding tone.
Yu Fu inexplicably felt a sense of shame. But time was running out, and she couldn’t delay anymore. She knelt on the car seat, one leg bent, and turned around, gathering her hair to the side and proactively holding up the phone flashlight to provide illumination.
As the small beam of light fell on the back of her neck and onto her back, Yu Fu’s throat became more frequent in swallowing, her voice involuntarily tightening: “Thank you…”
She was urging him.
But with her back turned, she couldn’t see his actions. After waiting silently for two seconds, just as she was about to turn her head to check, she felt the hard, masculine knee of Jiang Siwei pressing against her side. He boldly leaned forward, half-kneeling on the seat, using his strength to help her with the stuck zipper on her dress.
Yu Fu immediately stiffened her spine, afraid to move. The hand holding the flashlight trembled uncontrollably.
In the pitch-black cabin, the light flickered and wavered.
Jiang Siwei firmly pulled the zipper head backward, the tail of his voice rising with a chill: “Do you still want me to take off your clothes?”
