Ex-Girlfriend Strategy (GL) - Chapter 10
Shu Nanxuan thought Yang Jiu had gone mad, but her thoughts didn’t matter.
The smell of alcohol poured straight into her mouth through Yang Jiu’s kiss.
Whether it was Yang Jiu’s breath or the alcohol, Shu Nanxuan forgot to resist immediately.
She let Yang Jiu’s lips and tongue invade her freely.
When she realized she should fight back, she noticed Yang Jiu had pinned her hands tightly against the wall.
The drunken person was unreasonably forceful, as if determined to fully embody “acting crazy.”
Yang Jiu’s tongue pushed in, refusing to retreat even slightly.
“Yang… mmph…”
Shu Nanxuan couldn’t even say Yang Jiu’s full name.
She could only let out one or two meaningless syllables during the gaps in the kiss, which had no effect on Yang Jiu.
The bottle of liquor, downed quickly and urgently, had fully gone to Yang Jiu’s head.
Touching someone she hadn’t been close to in years made her reckless.
Shu Nanxuan’s resistance seemed almost nonexistent to her.
The feeble struggles couldn’t budge her at all.
“Nanxuan… Nanxuan… I missed you so much…”
Yang Jiu murmured lovingly, sucking on Shu Nanxuan’s lips with wet sounds.
Shu Nanxuan resisted fiercely, but Yang Jiu pressed her down even harder.
In the quiet night, the occasional moans from their throats stood out clearly.
The drunken Yang Jiu didn’t notice, but Shu Nanxuan could clearly hear the moans escaping her own throat.
After a few minutes, she gradually stopped struggling.
Yang Jiu’s strength was clearly greater, and resisting was futile.
But her silent compliance soon made Yang Jiu stop.
“Nanxuan, what’s wrong?” Yang Jiu asked, pausing when Shu Nanxuan showed no reaction for a while.
Shu Nanxuan didn’t speak.
She just looked at Yang Jiu with a calm, unwavering gaze.
Her eyes were red, brimming with deep sadness.
Yang Jiu panicked at the sight.
The impulse from the alcohol vanished.
She quickly released Shu Nanxuan’s hands, fumbling to apologize.
“Nanxuan, I’m sorry, Nanxuan,” she said.
“I… I missed you too much. I’m sorry…” she continued.
She reached for Shu Nanxuan’s hand, but Shu Nanxuan’s gaze made her arm feel impossibly heavy, unable to move.
“Yang Jiu,” Shu Nanxuan said, her voice still hoarse.
“Is this what you call loving me? Have you ever respected me even a little?”
Her words were full of disappointment.
“If this is your idea of loving me, then forget it,” she said.
Yang Jiu’s face flushed red. She didn’t know what came over her.
The news of an engagement pushed her to act recklessly, doing this to Shu Nanxuan without thinking.
“I’m sorry, Nanxuan. I was wrong,” she said.
“I couldn’t control myself thinking you might get engaged soon,” she explained.
“You asked if I wouldn’t have shown up without that news. Yes, Nanxuan. Though I want to be by your side again, I wasn’t ready.”
“But when will I ever be ready? I’ll never be ready in this lifetime. I don’t want to keep preparing anymore,” she said.
“Nanxuan, tell me, is the engagement real?”
Her voice grew quieter, less confident, almost pleading for an answer from Shu Nanxuan.
It felt like awaiting a cruel verdict.
“If you… really want to get engaged or married, I won’t bother you anymore.”
After saying this, Yang Jiu’s head dropped completely, waiting for Shu Nanxuan’s final judgment.
After a moment of silence, Shu Nanxuan pushed Yang Jiu away, creating distance between them.
She walked toward her apartment.
When she opened the door, light spilled out.
With her back to Yang Jiu, her faint voice drifted over in the night breeze.
“No.”
