“Yang Jiu.”

At 21, Shu Nanxuan was still full of energy.

She called Yang Jiu’s name as soon as she opened the door, but the dark room told her Yang Jiu wasn’t home yet.

She turned on the entryway light while changing her shoes, muttering, “What’s going on? She’s coming back later and later.”

After changing her shoes and setting the cake she was carrying down in the living room, she still felt uneasy.

“Is it necessary? She already secured a postgraduate recommendation. Does an internship at a law firm really require her to work until eleven or twelve every day?”

She pulled out her phone to call Yang Jiu.

The phone rang several times before it was picked up.

She had been busy with graduation recently.

It was already 11:12.

“Sorry, I’ll come back earlier tomorrow, okay?”

Shu Nanxuan raised her hand and poked Yang Jiu’s shoulder with her index finger.

“And you still came back this late today.”

This person only ever said sorry to coax her.

Couldn’t she just kiss her a couple of times to make it better?

Shu Nanxuan felt like she was one step away from kissing herself.

Yang Jiu felt like an idiot.

She knew kissing Shu Nanxuan when she was angry would calm her down, but she always forgot in her rush.

She lifted her head and kissed her from below.

Their soft lips touched, and Shu Nanxuan let out an involuntary hum, soft and captivating, making Yang Jiu deepen the kiss unconsciously.

Yang Jiu slowly stood up, pressing Shu Nanxuan down onto the sofa bit by bit, one hand around her neck, the other touching her face.
