“So many people love me. What makes you, Yang Jiu, special?” Shu Nanxuan said.

Perhaps because she didn’t hear what she wanted from Yang Jiu, Shu Nanxuan’s patience ran out.

She tugged at Yang Jiu’s arm, but Yang Jiu didn’t move.

Shu Nanxuan frowned, her voice sharp with displeasure.

“Move,” she said.

“So, is it true you’re getting engaged?”

She felt the weight in her heart didn’t lift but hung even heavier.

She had heard this news from a university classmate.

It was this news that made her appear before Shu Nanxuan without preparation, even if it meant becoming her subordinate.

Anger rose in her heart, and even Shu Nanxuan struggled to control her temper.

“I’ll say it again—move,” she said, her voice icy cold. Yang Jiu really knew how to make her angry.

Yang Jiu lowered her head and stepped aside slightly.
