Failed to Pretend to Be an Alpha and Got Marked by the Enemy (ABO, GL) - Chapter 81
Chapter 81
——I want you the most.
Yu Jing read these four words over and over countless times. The literal meaning was simple and easy to understand, but she felt there was a deeper intention behind them.
Was this Sister really flirting with her using cheesy romantic lines, or had she seen through Yu Jing’s probing and was asking to be her birthday gift? ? ?
If it was the latter…
This, this, this, it was too embarrassing!
In the cool corridor outside the studio, the glossy marble wall reflected a delicate, flushed face.
Yu Jing held her phone tightly. Her fingers seemed tied up. She stared blankly for a long time, unable to type a single word. Finally, she gave up and hurriedly sent an lsp emoji.
“Tsk tsk, I didn’t expect Sister Ming Zhu to have such a fetish,” a teasing voice sounded in her ear.
Yu Jing quickly looked up and met Xiao Ye’s prying gaze. Feeling guilty, she closed the chat window, hid the phone behind her back, and pushed Xiao Ye away. “Who told you to peek?”
Xiao Ye showed no embarrassment at all. She looked at Yu Jing with a playful expression. Taking advantage of the fact that no one else was around, she grinned cheekily and said, “I think it’s a great idea. Offering yourself as a birthday gift to your girlfriend is absolutely unique. You won’t have to worry about what to buy anymore, and it saves money too. Just wash yourself clean, tie a bow on your body, sneak onto her bed, and when Sister Ming Zhu sees you like that, she’ll definitely…”
“Shut up,” Yu Jing covered Xiao Ye’s chattering mouth. Her face burned with shame as she gritted her teeth and forced out, “Come with me to the mall.”
A bow? She’d rather die than do something so embarrassingly tacky.
The mall was filled with a dazzling array of goods. Yu Jing’s eyes nearly went blurry from looking. She wandered around for a long time, bought some decorative items, and a bottle of Ming Zhu’s favorite perfume-type Alpha suppressant. She asked the saleslady to wrap it as a gift and returned fully loaded.
Yu Jing wasn’t sure if Ming Zhu had really figured out her plan to prepare a birthday surprise. To avoid giving herself away, she first stashed the decorations and gift in the small apartment she shared with Xiao Ye before casually heading across to find Ming Zhu.
These days, Ming Zhu spent her time either at the hospital with her grandfather or at home working on a new script. When Yu Jing entered, Ming Zhu was muttering to herself with her eyes lowered. The light outlined her perfectly sculpted features. Without makeup, she still looked stunningly sharp. A ruthless, gloomy air lingered between her brows, making her seem unapproachable.
Yu Jing’s “I’m back” got stuck in her throat. Seeing such an unfamiliar Ming Zhu, she froze in place.
“Meow?” Little White ran over, rubbing affectionately against her feet.
Yu Jing crouched down to pick it up. As she looked up, she met Ming Zhu’s gaze and involuntarily shuddered.
Those amber eyes seemed to burn with a predatory fire, fierce and terrifying.
Yu Jing instinctively hugged the trembling Little White tighter and turned to leave.
But a slightly cool hand grabbed her collar from behind.
“Where are you going?” The voice sounded like it came from the depths of the earth, cold and lifeless, sending chills down her spine.
Ming Zhu’s cool hand gripped Yu Jing’s shoulder, forcing her to turn around. Meeting her gaze again, Yu Jing’s face turned deathly pale.
Tears welled up in her beautiful peach-blossom eyes. Yu Jing looked terrified, trembling as she stared at Ming Zhu, unable to say a word.
Ming Zhu, still immersed in her role, froze for a moment. Seeing Yu Jing’s expression, the fierce fire in her eyes faded instantly. She dropped the script in her hand, cupped Yu Jing’s stiff face, and said softly, “Did I scare you? I was caught up in the role and didn’t adjust my emotions.”
Yu Jing stared at her with wide eyes, her lips quivering. Suddenly, she let out a loud “Wah” and started crying.
Ming Zhu’s expression shifted slightly. “Jingjing, you…”
“You yelled at me,” Yu Jing accused through teary eyes.
Ming Zhu’s face showed panic. She didn’t know what she’d done wrong. Flustered, she wiped the tears from Yu Jing’s eyes. “I’m sorry.”
Yu Jing sobbed, “Woo woo woo—”
Ming Zhu couldn’t bear to see her cry. She quickly pulled her into her arms to comfort her. “I’m sorry, I’m sorry, I was wrong.”
“Wah—” The more she comforted, the louder Yu Jing cried.
Ming Zhu’s heart ached, and she didn’t know what to do.
Suddenly, the person in her arms broke free. “Hahaha—”
The girl’s face bloomed like a peach flower, with glistening tears still clinging to her lashes. She threw her head back and laughed boldly, showing no trace of fear or grievance.
Ming Zhu was stunned, listening to the girl’s triumphant, mischievous laughter. She looked at her girlfriend, whose mood flipped faster than a book’s pages. Opening her mouth, she choked and closed it again.
Yu Jing had never seen Ming Zhu look so dazed. Finding it amusing, she pinched Ming Zhu’s face and said, “You actually believed me? I was just teasing you.”
“…”
Yu Jing’s fingers playfully tapped Ming Zhu’s collarbone. Grinning, she asked, “Sister, how’s my acting?”
Realizing she’d been played, Ming Zhu’s expression became hard to describe.
Acting? When she saw Yu Jing’s red-rimmed eyes, Ming Zhu immediately thought of the day Yu Jing confessed, clinging to her and crying so hard she could barely breathe, looking so fragile and heartbroken. Thinking she’d hurt her, Ming Zhu felt both distressed and anxious. How could she have been in the mood to appreciate her performance?
She’d always known Yu Jing was a little rascal, yet she still fell for it.
“You—” Ming Zhu rubbed her forehead, momentarily at a loss for words.
She didn’t have the heart to scold her, but her girlfriend was so naughty that she couldn’t let it slide without a lesson.
Grabbing Yu Jing’s wrist, Ming Zhu pulled her back into her arms, pinched her chin, and bit her lip.
“Hiss—” Yu Jing gasped in pain.
Her tender lips bore teeth marks. Ming Zhu wrapped an arm around her waist, her tongue slipping in.
“Mmph—” Yu Jing’s breath was stolen. Her mind went blank for a moment. She closed her eyes, tilting her head to accept it.
This kiss carried a hint of punishment. Ming Zhu pressed her against the nearby dining table, biting and kissing her with varying intensity. Their breaths grew rapid, inseparable.
When released, Yu Jing’s mind was still oxygen-deprived.
She seemed to have amnesia, unsure how she went from the dining table to the living room. Her body sank into the soft couch, her face glowing, her eyes shimmering. She looked obedient and soft, like a helpless kitten.
Ming Zhu braced her arms on either side of her, her eyes dark and intense, staring straight at her. Her hot breath spilled over as her cool voice took on a husky tone. “Dare to do it again?”
The little kitten stirred in her arms, staring at Ming Zhu’s lips, which looked even more sensual than usual. Unable to resist the temptation, Yu Jing swallowed secretly and said, “I dare.”
Ming Zhu was surprised. Her fingers brushed Yu Jing’s lips, where the teeth marks were still visible. With an ambiguous smile, she said softly, “Looks like the punishment wasn’t enough.”
She leaned down slowly. Yu Jing panicked. “No, no, no, Sister, I was wrong.”
This time, she apologized quickly, but Ming Zhu ignored her. Holding Yu Jing’s soft, resisting hands, she leaned down and kissed her again.
Yu Jing never knew kissing was such a physical task.
For dinner, she ate a big bowl of fruit salad, but she still felt hungry afterward. She grabbed a bag of chips from the fridge and snuggled on the couch with Ming Zhu, chatting casually.
After practicing dance all day, Yu Jing was tired and lay flat like she had no bones. Ming Zhu pulled her over, letting her rest her head on her lap. Running her fingers through Yu Jing’s soft hair, she asked about her stage outfit.
Yu Jing freed one hand, picked up her phone from the coffee table, and showed Ming Zhu the photos Xiao Ye had taken. “What do you think?”
Ming Zhu looked at the photos of Yu Jing’s slender, straight legs, then at the legs sprawled on the couch, covered in long pants. Her gaze lingered, then returned to Yu Jing’s face with a smile. “It looks good.”
Yu Jing munched on chips with a “crunch crunch,” her voice muffled as she deliberately asked, “The person or the clothes?”
It was an easy question. Ming Zhu played with her hair, chuckling softly. “Of course, the person looks better than the clothes.”
Yu Jing’s eyes lit up, her brows curving. She grabbed a chip and held it to Ming Zhu’s mouth. “Good answer. Your reward.”
Ming Zhu bit the chip from her fingers, her lips brushing Yu Jing’s fingertips, whether by accident or on purpose.
Yu Jing’s fingertips tingled, and she froze, forgetting to pull her hand back.
Chip crumbs stuck to Ming Zhu’s lips. She licked them clean slowly.
Watching this, Yu Jing recalled their earlier passionate kiss. She felt the small action was a bit erotic. Just as she was about to look away, Ming Zhu leaned down and whispered in her ear, “With or without clothes, the person looks good.”
Yu Jing’s ears tingled, her body trembling lightly as if electrified.
The sudden flirtatious remark left her at a loss for how to respond. She glanced at Little White, who was curiously watching them from the side, and pushed Ming Zhu with a flushed face.
Ming Zhu caught her hand, pulled it up, kissed her pink-tipped fingers, and lowered her voice. “Sleep here tonight?”
The word “sleep” seemed innocent, but the problem was, there was only one big bed in this house…
Yu Jing wasn’t naive enough to think Ming Zhu just wanted her to stay for a chat under the covers. Her mind flashed back to the passionate scene from Ming Zhu’s susceptible period. A “boom” went off in her head, like fireworks exploding.
Over the past half-month, they’d been well-behaved, probably because Ming Zhu was considerate of Yu Jing’s dance practice during the day. Ming Zhu had always been restrained. Usually, they just kissed and hugged, and even the more intense moments were brief and stopped short…
Yu Jing hadn’t expected Ming Zhu to suddenly make such a request today…
It was normal for couples to want each other, and it wasn’t like they hadn’t done it before. Yu Jing drowned in Ming Zhu’s tender gaze, her lips parting slightly. The word “okay” nearly slipped out.
The next second, she snapped back to reality. Yu Jing quickly pulled her hand back, broke free from Ming Zhu’s arms, sat up in a panic, grabbed her messy hair, and said, “No way.”
Ming Zhu clearly saw desire in her eyes and didn’t understand why she refused. She questioned her with a look.
Yu Jing thought about a certain plan for the day after tomorrow, took a deep breath, suppressed her restlessness, and said softly, “I’m on my period. It’s inconvenient.”
