Fake Love with the Movie Queen - Chapter 9
Gu Nanxuan wasn’t particularly enthusiastic about these activities.
But since she was participating alongside Qiu Qing’an, she was determined to take it seriously.
She didn’t deliberately sit next to Qiu Qing’an, instead choosing a more secluded corner as per her usual habit.
The host thoughtfully waited a moment before stepping forward with a stack of cards in hand:
“Today marks the first day of the show for all our guests, and for most of you, it’s also your first time meeting each other.”
She paused, then added with a playful tone:
“Of course, Qing’an is a frequent presence on TV, so you’re certainly no strangers to her. But this is likely your first time interacting with her in person.”
“Even I’m seeing the award-winning actress up close for the first time—it’s hard not to be captivated.”
“Thank you,” Qiu Qing’an responded with a polite smile.
Her eyes curved into a lovely arc, sparkling like dazzling stars. Her well-defined nose bridge framed perfect lips, and under the lights, her fair skin revealed a delicate fuzz.
As the camera zoomed in on her face, the live chat erupted with screams:
So beautiful, so beautiful! How can someone this stunning exist in the world?!
Woof woof, I’ll be Qiu Qing’an’s loyal dog!

Amid the chorus of barks in the live chat, the host continued with the activity:
“After spending half a day together, I’m sure each of you has formed an initial impression of one another. It may not be the deepest, but it’s definitely the most unique. So, who among the guests stands out as the most special to you?”
“Of course,” she added, “if there isn’t anyone, that’s perfectly fine—this activity isn’t mandatory.”
The host had her assistant distribute the cards: “Now, I’ll give each of you a card. If you have someone in mind, please write their name. If not, just leave it blank.”
The guests exchanged glances, each already forming their own guesses.
Unsurprisingly, Gu Nanxuan and Qiu Qing’an wrote each other’s names.
Zhu Ningyue wrote Ge Jiang’s name.
Yu Qianxue wrote Zhu Ningyue, while Sikong Yuan wrote Qiu Qing’an.
After some thought, Ge Jiang ultimately decided not to write anything.
The host collected the cards and flipped through the names written on them.
Then, with a hint of surprise, she said, “Wow, Qing’an and Nanxuan wrote each other’s names! I didn’t expect you two to be so in sync.”
Since the cards were signed, she could tell who had written which name.
“Qing’an and Nanxuan, would you mind sharing why you found each other the most memorable or special?” the host asked with a bright smile.
Qiu Qing’an glanced at Gu Nanxuan, who sat not far away, her gentle voice carrying both narration and reminiscence: “The moment I saw her, I felt she was special.”
“She’s straightforward, kind, and carries an unyielding strength. In a crowd, she’s the kind of person you notice immediately.”
Every word she spoke was deliberate and sincere.
“It seems Qing’an really has a deep impression of Nanxuan,” the host remarked.
Live chat:
Is Qiu Qing’an really talking about Gu Nanxuan? I don’t see it at all…
“I don’t know about anything else, but kindness definitely has nothing to do with Gu Nanxuan. Her videos were trending not long ago!”
“This must be scripted, right? Only an actress with her skills could say something like that without batting an eye.”
“I thought dating show livestreams weren’t scripted. Turns out they’re all the same. So boring, I’m out.”
As more people assumed it was scripted, a portion of the audience left the livestream.
“What about Nanxuan?” the host then asked Gu Nanxuan.
Unlike Qiu Qing’an, Gu Nanxuan didn’t say much—just two words: “Intuition.”
“Intuition?” The host was curious. “What kind of intuition?”
Without hesitation, Gu Nanxuan replied, “The intuition that I’ll like her.”
“Is Nanxuan confessing to the award-winning actress?” The host took it as a joke. “But we haven’t gotten to that part yet.”
The livestream audience also thought she was joking:
“Who wouldn’t like an actress this gorgeous?”
“Exactly!”
“I also have an intuition that I’d fall for her.”
“+1”
After questioning Gu Nanxuan and Qiu Qing’an, the host turned to the others: “Among the remaining four guests, one didn’t write a name.”
She looked at Ge Jiang. “Jiangjiang, can you tell us why?”
Ge Jiang nodded and explained, “Because I hadn’t made up my mind, so I just didn’t write anything.”
The host pressed, “Oh? Was it because no one left a deep impression or stood out? Or were you unsure who to pick?”
Ge Jiang: “A bit of both.”
The host nodded in understanding and turned to the other three. “Why did you choose each other’s names?”
Yu Qianxue and Sikong Yuan showered each other with praise.
Zhu Ningyue stole a glance at Ge Jiang. “I guess it was intuition too.”
Seeing no reaction, she wasn’t sure if she felt disappointed or just disheartened.
“Seems Ningyue shares Nanxuan’s reasoning.” The host didn’t probe further.
Instead, she asked about their first impressions of the dating show livestream and their expectations for future activities.
When the time was almost up, an assistant nearby gave her a signal.
The host wrapped things up. “Alright, it’s getting late, so we’ll end today’s session here. Thank you all for your cooperation. I won’t keep you from resting any longer.”
“Wishing you all a wonderful night~” The host waved with her assistant. “See you tomorrow.”
“See you tomorrow.”
Once the host left, the atmosphere visibly relaxed.
Sikong Yuan suddenly checked her phone and gasped. “It’s already 8 PM? I haven’t done my face mask yet!”
As someone who built her livestream persona around beauty, she took skincare extremely seriously. Every day at 7 PM, she’d complete her routine and be in bed by 8:30.
Now, past 8 PM, there was no time for her full regimen—she could only hope her skin wouldn’t suffer.
“I’m heading to bed first,” she announced before dashing upstairs, not even waiting for the elevator.
Seeing her leave, Yu Qianxue followed suit.
Ge Jiang glanced at the remaining guests and asked Zhu Ningyue, “Should we go back too?”
Zhu Ningyue nodded. “Sure.”
Once they left, only Gu Nanxuan and Qiu Qing’an remained in the living room.
Seated on separate sofas, neither spoke first.
The empty living room fell into a momentary silence, with only the faint sound of camera operation audible nearby.
Yet within this quiet, there was an unspoken understanding and warmth.
As the footsteps of the others upstairs faded, Gu Nanxuan stood up and headed toward the stairs.
Qiu Qing’an rose almost simultaneously, following closely behind her.
The live camera captured their retreating figures before finally cutting off.
The livestream room displayed a “Live Broadcast Ended” message.
The crew carefully set up the equipment and tiptoed out of the villa.
Back in her room, Gu Nanxuan glanced at the camera in the corner and asked Qiu Qing’an, who had followed her inside, “What time does this camera in the room turn on every day?”
Qiu Qing’an replied, “According to the notice, it’s from 8 AM to 8 PM. If you don’t like it, you can cover it.”
The camera in the room was meant to capture the “private lives” of the guests, catering to some viewers’ voyeuristic desires.
Of course, if the guests weren’t willing to share their private moments, they could cover the lens with a towel or simply turn off the power.
Gu Nanxuan nodded, walked over, and picked up a nearby towel, draping it over the entire camera.
Once that was done, she seemed to transform into a different person, wrapping her arms around Qiu Qing’an’s waist and nuzzling against her like a spoiled child. “I’m so tired today.”
Qiu Qing’an guided her to sit together on the edge of the bed, gently embracing her waist in return. “If you’re tired, you should rest early.”
“But we haven’t kissed today.”
Gu Nanxuan, who appeared aloof and even cold in front of others, turned into an affectionate little puppy the moment she returned to her own territory.
Qiu Qing’an knew she wasn’t just clingy—she also liked to bite. Like a real puppy, she enjoyed “marking” her possessions.
She lowered her head and pressed a soft kiss to Gu Nanxuan’s lips, indulging her request—even though they had already kissed earlier that afternoon.
Tasting the flavor she loved, Gu Nanxuan quickly chased after it, pressing Qiu Qing’an down onto the bed and deepening the kiss.
Their kisses were never gentle or hesitant. After a brief moment of tenderness, Gu Nanxuan began nibbling lightly at Qiu Qing’an’s lips.
Like a teething puppy, she enjoyed gnawing on things that soothed her teeth.
Only when Qiu Qing’an’s lips were thoroughly swollen did she reluctantly pull back, switching to teasing and sucking lightly on her tongue.
Qiu Qing’an’s lips tingled from the attention, but she didn’t push her away. Instead, she indulged her, letting her leave ambiguous marks all over.
After who knows how long, Gu Nanxuan finally lifted her head from Qiu Qing’an’s neck, a smug little smile on her face. “If you go out with these marks tomorrow, your fans are going to lose their minds.”
“If you like, you can leave a few more.” After the kiss, Qiu Qing’an’s voice, already gentle, became even more intoxicating.
Gu Nanxuan climbed up to meet her gaze, pressing their noses together as she stared at her own reflection in Qiu Qing’an’s eyes. “Should I really bite, then?”
Qiu Qing’an chuckled softly. “Are you a puppy? So fond of biting?”
Gu Nanxuan wasn’t offended by the teasing. Instead, she bared her teeth slightly, as if threatening her.
She had two sharp little fangs, pointed like canine teeth.
If she laughed too brightly, others could catch a glimpse of them.
But Gu Nanxuan hated being called cute, so she always kept her expressions carefully controlled in public.
“If you like puppies, then I’ll be your puppy.”
Gu Nanxian had no bottom line, nuzzling Qiu Qing’an’s face affectionately with the tip of her nose. “So, my master, can you kiss your puppy again?”
Naturally, Qiu Qing’an wouldn’t disappoint her little puppy and kissed her lips once more.
