Forbidden Deep Affection (GL) - Chapter 13
Chapter 13
The room had only one bed, so they had to sleep together.
Ye Ting Shuang wasn’t the fussy or germophobic type who insisted on sleeping alone.
“Do we really need to shower in the owner’s daughter’s room?” Ming Shuang asked, feeling uneasy. Showering in a stranger’s room felt strange, but it was summer, and they sweated all day, so not showering wasn’t an option.
Ye Ting Shuang grabbed her phone and pajamas and said, “Let’s go together.”
“A shared bath?” Ming Shuang teased, eyeing her up and down. “Alright, I’m in.”
“I’m not,” Ye Ting Shuang replied, exasperated, walking ahead to greet the owner’s wife, who led them to her daughter’s room.
Once inside, Ye Ting Shuang used a scanning app to check for cameras, confirmed it was safe, and told Ming Shuang to shower first. She sat on the sofa, holding her clothes and playing on her phone.
The sound of running water came from the bathroom.
Ye Ting Shuang glanced instinctively and noticed the frosted glass, though wet, revealed the silhouette of the person inside.
It wasn’t very clear, but she could still appreciate the curves of the figure.
Her gaze grew serious.
She recalled past life-drawing classes, mostly with middle-aged models whose loose skin lacked beauty. Even younger models rarely had perfect figures.
But those classes aimed for realism, not perfect models.
Seeing a faintly perfect figure now felt dazzling, one spark after another.
Ming Shuang opened the bathroom door and caught Ye Ting Shuang’s entranced, starry-eyed expression.
“?”
“Has anyone told you your figure looks great?” Ye Ting Shuang asked.
“All the time. Why ask suddenly?” Ming Shuang said, drying her hair. She paused, glanced at the glass, and understood everything.
“You got quite the deal,” Ming Shuang said, shaking her head with a laugh.
Ye Ting Shuang couldn’t deny she took advantage. She grabbed her pajamas and headed to the bathroom, saying, “Go back to the room. It’s safe here; you don’t need to stay.”
“No way. You saw all of me; I gotta see you back,” Ming Shuang said, crossing her arms righteously.
They stared at each other silently for a moment, then Ye Ting Shuang turned and went in, saying, “Suit yourself.”
Since Ming Shuang usually took jobs with men and only accepted her for money, it didn’t matter—they were both women. Maybe she was just bluffing.
Ming Shuang, surprised by her quick agreement, stood stunned as Ye Ting Shuang closed the door.
Soon, the hot water turned on, and the fog on the glass spread, revealing Ye Ting Shuang’s fair skin.
Ming Shuang stood by the glass, determined not to lose out, and stared at her silhouette. But slowly, she forgot her initial intent. Her eyes wavered, following the hands moving over the figure.
When she saw foam pile up on the shoulders, she instinctively raised her hand, touched the glass, and stopped.
Through the centimeter-thick glass, the figure alternated between blurry and clear, making her heart race and her breathing slow.
She turned, leaned against the glass door, calmed herself, and walked away.
She’s definitely trying to seduce me!
The more Ming Shuang thought, the more she believed it was a trick. Peeking at her wasn’t enough; now Ye Ting Shuang was luring her on purpose.
Good thing she stopped herself, or Ye Ting Shuang would’ve won.
“Going to bed already?” Ye Ting Shuang asked, returning from her shower and pushing open the door to see Ming Shuang lying on the bed with her eyes tightly closed.
Ming Shuang suddenly opened her eyes and stared at her intently.
Ye Ting Shuang finished her tasks, got ready for bed, and looked at the woman lying on the outer side, saying, “Move your feet; you’re taking up space.”
Ming Shuang pulled her legs back.
Ye Ting Shuang climbed up, accidentally stepped on Ming Shuang’s nightgown, tried to pull her foot back, slipped, and fell onto Ming Shuang.
Their eyes met, and Ming Shuang slowly gave a knowing look, her expression suggestive.
“Sorry,” Ye Ting Shuang said, moving to the side and finally lying down.
“Be straight with me,” Ming Shuang said.
“About what?” Ye Ting Shuang asked, confused.
“Will you sneak attack me in the middle of the night while I’m asleep?” Ming Shuang asked.
“Why would I attack you?” Ye Ting Shuang replied.
“You know why,” Ming Shuang insisted.
“I don’t. I’m sleeping. Turn off the light,” Ye Ting Shuang said.
In the dark, Ming Shuang couldn’t calm down, always feeling Ye Ting Shuang might act any moment.
If it came to that, what would she do?
Fight back fiercely? Or play coy and act reluctant?
Her mind swirled with thoughts, growing messier. After a long time, she felt impatient, but Ye Ting Shuang still hadn’t moved.
So unenthusiastic? Or pretending to sleep?
Ming Shuang muttered to herself and asked softly, “Are you asleep?”
No response came.
Really asleep?
Fine, sleep!
But she couldn’t sleep soundly, waking up several times at night. Each time, she checked where Ye Ting Shuang’s hands were, confirmed they barely moved, and went back to sleep reluctantly.
—Wait, why did she feel reluctant?!
Sleep, sleep!
The next day, sunlight streamed through the skylight, shining on their bodies and faces.
Ming Shuang shook her head, opened her eyes, avoided the light, and turned to see Ye Ting Shuang’s sleeping face.
Ye Ting Shuang slept properly, somehow turned over during the night. The sunlight fell on her profile, softening her cool features with a gentle glow.
Ming Shuang blinked, studied her sleeping face, and, feeling mischievous, wanted to wake her.
As her finger neared Ye Ting Shuang’s cheek, she paused, leaned closer, sniffed curiously, and looked at her.
Such a cold person usually, yet she had a faint milky scent—like she was marinated in milk?
Ming Shuang leaned closer, almost touching her face, found the scent increasingly pleasant, and, unable to resist, pulled her into a hug to smell more.
“What are you doing?” Ye Ting Shuang asked.
Ming Shuang looked up, saw Ye Ting Shuang awake, and grinned, “You’re up! Did you know your body—ah!!”
With a thud, Ming Shuang got kicked off the bed.
“Sorry, I forgot to warn you before kicking,” Ye Ting Shuang said.
Ming Shuang stayed silent.
So polite about it?
