A Moment Too Late (GL) - Chapter 108
The driver dropped the two of them off at Nan Xue’s place.
The night was deep, and the white-walled, dark-tiled house was surrounded by pitch-black layers of mountains. Stars twinkled on the mountain slopes, with a few street lamps illuminating the white pebble path leading back.
“Sister, what did you mean just now?”
Nan Xue asked tentatively.
“Literal meaning.”
Shu Yubai smiled lightly, reached out, and gently hooked Nan Xue’s chin with her index finger. “Be good, lie still later and don’t move around.”
They walked into the threshold.
The sensor light turned on, and Nan Xue placed her finger on the fingerprint lock. With a click, the door opened. Inside was pitch black, but the hallway light came on, casting the shadows of the two onto the floor.
There was no one at home…
Did Aunt Zhang go home?
Nan Xue felt a sigh of relief.
But the next moment, a voice came from the small garden.
“Is Xiao Nan back?”
Aunt Zhang appeared next to the grove, holding a bouquet of flowers.
She had picked some blooming peach blossoms, intending to arrange them in the living room vase. The flowers are beautiful when they bloom but wilt quickly, so she had to pick them before spring was over.
“Aunt Zhang?” Nan Xue looked at the living room and asked, “Why aren’t the lights on?”
“Oh.”
Aunt Zhang waved her hand. “To save electricity, I’m used to it.”
She looked down, turned around, changed into slippers, and placed the bouquet into a vase in front of the sofa. Then she filled the vase with water, the petals slightly damp, and the delicate fragrance filled the cool night air.
“……”
The two were silent, then changed their shoes and went upstairs.
The room was dark, and Nan Xue fumbled to turn on the light when she suddenly felt a shiver.
Someone gently embraced her waist from behind.
The woman’s chin rested on her shoulder, tilting slightly, and she suddenly kissed her neck, leaving a warm imprint on her soft skin. Her warm breath brushed her ear, like a gentle, passionate sigh.
Nan Xue turned around.
Her eyes were gentle in the darkness.
Her heart fluttered.
Nan Xue’s breathing quickened. She turned and couldn’t help but kiss her back.
“Sister.”
She kissed Shu Yubai’s red lips, feeling very affectionate.
Shu Yubai gently embraced her waist from behind, her palm touching the warm, soft sensation through a thin layer of fabric. Her slender, supple waist fit perfectly in her palm, warm and inviting.
Nan Xue’s lips were so soft.
Shu Yubai kissed and lightly sucked on them, feeling a warm and tingling sensation spread like budding spring. They embraced and kissed, starting gently and gradually becoming more passionate.
Shu Yubai tapped the door with her toes, closing it quietly and then reaching over to lock it.
“Do you miss me?”
The woman’s voice in the dark was filled with damp warmth.
“Yes.”
Nan Xue’s lips brushed against her earlobe.
Her fingertips climbed onto Shu Yubai’s shoulder, her movements becoming bolder. She gently peeled away the fabric from her shoulder, as if peeling an orange to reveal the soft flesh inside.
Shu Yubai, however, pressed her hand down, not letting her move. She pushed her toward the bed with her fingers on her shoulder and, with another push, made her sit on the bed. She lifted a lock of hair from her ear and said softly, “Let me do it.”
Nan Xue looked at her, her ear tips reddening and a hint of shyness in her eyes.
“Are you serious?”
She asked softly.
“Mm.”
Shu Yubai nodded.
“Sit over there.”
Shu Yubai murmured, “Lean against the edge of the bed. Hmm, I’ll get you a pillow to support your waist.”
“……”
“This will be more comfortable.”
Shu Yubai placed the pillow under her slender waist.
She wrapped her arms around Nan Xue’s neck, cradled the back of her head, and gently kissed her lips. Her palm touched Nan Xue’s cold hair, the warmth of her neck contrasting with the coldness of her skin, as she continued to kiss her.
Shu Yubai was slow, afraid that Nan Xue might not be used to it, exploring inch by inch.
Her hands were soft and warm, tender as water, gently caressing Nan Xue’s shoulder, her palm emitting a bit of sweat.
“Do you feel anything?”
“Is this comfortable for you?”
••••
Nan Xue tilted her neck back, her skin so white, her collarbone shimmering under the moonlight, like holding a thin crescent of moonlight, delicate and fragile.
“Don’t.”
“Sister, don’t…”
Nan Xue gently pushed her away, closed her thick lashes, and her body kept trembling, her white toes curling up.
She seemed like a curled-up little animal, timid, with dark, moist eyes full of unease. Shu Yubai’s heart softened. She lowered her head, lightly kissing Nan Xue’s hair, the familiar scent of her body spreading.
It was a warm fragrance with hints of paint and paper.
“Can we continue, hmm?”
Shu Yubai asked softly.
Nan Xue’s earlobes turned red. She lowered her lashes, too shy to look into Shu Yubai’s eyes, constantly trying to close her legs and pulling at the corner of the blanket to cover herself.
“Okay.”
Shu Yubai patiently kissed her cheek. “Then we’ll just kiss.”
She restrained herself, holding the girl’s soft lips, gently sucking and tenderly soothing and savoring.
“Is this okay?”
“Yes…”
••••
“Sister…”
“Hmm?”
Shu Yu Bai responded with a soft nasal sound.
“I…”
The girl hesitated, her ears turning a deep red.
She took Shu Yu Bai’s soft hand, her eyes filled with a watery sheen, and the corners of her eyes were red.
