The light in the room was warm and soft. The curtain was gently drawn with a layer of gauze. Outside, the moonlight spilled into the snowy courtyard, surrounded by quiet, with the chirping of small insects.
The sound of light breathing grew louder in her ears.
One after another, it landed on her eardrums.
Shu Yubai trembled slightly.
It was like a restless little animal, somewhat reckless and playful, carrying a burning desire.
When she lowered her head, she could see the dark swirl of Nan Xue’s hair, gently moving.
Shu Yubai’s T-shirt was very loose, with a wide-open neckline, revealing her smooth, white shoulder. Her black hair was a bit messy, giving her a casual, lazy, yet alluring look.
She tightened her grip around Nan Xue’s waist and breathed lightly.
Rapid and light, as if suppressing something.
Warm breaths brushed against Nan Xue’s ear.
“Sister…”
“Mm?”
Nan Xue leaned close to her ear and whispered, “You’re panting.”
Shu Yubai’s cheeks heated up, and she asked, “Am I?”
“You are.”
“……”
“It sounds nice,” Nan Xue said, her delicate fingers lifting Shu Yubai’s long hair by her ear, leaning closer. “I want to record it.”
Shu Yubai’s face burned. For a moment, she didn’t know what to say. Nan Xue’s words seemed to come naturally and without embarrassment, easily disarming her, making her just want to escape.
“Can you pant again?”
Nan Xue leaned in to kiss her.
“Stop talking…”
Shu Yubai covered her face.
Nan Xue straightened up, her porcelain-white cheeks turning a smoky pink. Her pale fingers lightly traced over the fabric, looking into her eyes and asked, “Does it feel good?”
“It does.”
The woman tilted her neck back, her throat moving.
“Then I’ll continue.”
The warm light from the wall lamp poured down.
The girl’s dark eyes were moist, her lips slightly wet, and she stretched out her tongue to lick them.
Shu Yubai didn’t answer, closing her eyes, her long, elegant eyelashes trembling slightly.
…
“Don’t… stop, stop.”
Her wrist was grabbed and pulled out from under the covers.
Nan Xue looked at her uneasily, still wanting more but afraid she might have done something wrong that made Shu Yubai uncomfortable. So, she obediently stopped and didn’t move any further.
Shu Yubai’s cheeks were flushed, her eyes carrying an indescribable allure, as if she was pushing away, but with a touch of inexperienced shyness.
“What’s wrong?”
Nan Xue’s earlobes were burning red.
“Not today.”
After a long while, Shu Yubai finally spoke.
“……”
“Too fast.”
The woman gently pushed her away. “No, I’m not… ready.”
“Not continuing?”
“Mm.”
Shu Yubai nodded, curling back under the covers, turning her back to Nan Xue.
Nan Xue stared at her figure under the blanket, slightly dazed, feeling at a loss. Did she do something wrong? Why did Shu Yubai turn away and ignore her? It couldn’t just be because she was tired.
Nan Xue hesitated, then leaned over to look at Shu Yubai’s profile. In the soft light, the woman had already closed her eyes.
She reached out and turned off the light.
The room fell into darkness.
A pale, cold moonlight cast a faint shadow on the floor, gently swaying, peaceful and quiet.
Nan Xue moved closer, wrapping her arms around Shu Yubai’s waist, as if slowly testing something. Realizing that the sleeping person didn’t push her away, she finally felt reassured, pressing against her back and closing her eyes.
Shu Yubai wasn’t asleep.
The soft hem of her T-shirt had already slid up to her waist under the covers. Her legs were bare, and after a moment, her toes curled slightly, feeling the same soft, smooth touch, which was a bit cool.
Nan Xue had moved closer.
“Are you uncomfortable?”
Nan Xue, a bit dejected, asked her softly, “Sister, I’m not very good at this…”
“It is a bit uncomfortable.”
Shu Yubai shifted her legs under the covers.
Her inner thighs felt cold and sticky.
The feeling just now was strange, like the most vulnerable part of her was being held, a thin layer of fabric in between, like a small fish bumping against a lotus leaf, over and over.
She couldn’t take it, trembling non-stop, and instinctively pushed Nan Xue away.
“Shall we continue next time, okay?” Nan Xue murmured, “Sister, you promised to teach me.”
“No,” Shu Yubai shook her head coldly and ruthlessly, “I don’t want to, not now, not ever.”
“Why?”
Nan Xue was deeply hurt, thinking, was she really that bad?
These things are usually enjoyable for most people, aren’t they? Books and movies always depict them as wonderful, like an addictive wine. Why was Shu Yubai so resistant?
Was it her fault?
Nan Xue glanced at her fingers under the moonlight.
The fingertips were slightly damp, not dry.
“You’re lying.”
Nan Xue moved closer again, from afar, the wind blew through the gap in the window, making the curtains flutter like waves.
She leaned close to Shu Yubai’s ear and whispered, “Sister, you did react, see.”
She brought her fingers to Shu Yubai’s face, letting her smell them.
“Even through the underwear, it’s soaked.”
Shu Yubai was stunned, her earlobes burning hot.
Nan Xue continued, “Is it because you’re too sensitive? You can’t handle it, so you don’t want it?”
