Golden Temptation – A Yuri Story - Chapter 11
Qiao Fei and Lin Hao were hailed as the golden couple of C University.
Lin Hao was everything a girl could dream of—handsome, refined, and charismatic. As the heartthrob of the campus, he was a standout student in the Management Department and president of the student union.
Now a junior, he was a year ahead of Qiao Fei. His family background only amplified his allure—his father was the dean of the business school, and his mother served as the chief prosecutor of the Supreme People’s
Procuratorate in C City. With such pedigree and influence, Lin Hao wasn’t just popular—he had real clout on campus.
He carried himself with effortless elegance and kindness, quickly becoming the “three-goods” ideal: good grades, good looks, and a good family. In the eyes of the girls at C University, he was the perfect prince.
Though he had dated several women, his breakups were always civil—after all, relationships require mutual consent. And because of his charm and status, there were always women willing to chase after him, to the point of obsession. Despite his romantic history, Lin Hao’s image remained untarnished.
A year ago, during a student union welcome event, Lin Hao first laid eyes on Qiao Fei, a beautiful freshman. From that moment on, he couldn’t look away. At first, Qiao Fei was just another conquest to him—a pretty face to be admired, pursued, and eventually discarded like the others.
But something unexpected happened. As time went on, Lin Hao found himself truly falling for her. Qiao Fei didn’t just touch his heart—she embedded herself into his very being. He fell for her, deeply and helplessly.
Qiao Fei was also drawn to Lin Hao’s warmth and attentiveness. Away from home, she found comfort in this charming senior, and he became her first love—her anchor in a new and unfamiliar world.
Their romance soon became the talk of the campus. Everyone envied the perfect couple, believing they were meant to be. But as the saying goes: a leopard cannot change its spots. Despite Lin Hao’s passionate devotion to Qiao Fei, his nature betrayed him. Behind her back, he continued to flirt with other girls. Rumors swirled about an ambiguous relationship with Shen Yiling, the daughter of the school’s director. Yet
Qiao Fei dismissed the gossip, choosing to believe in her prince and in the power of love.
Until the day her world shattered.
While working a part-time job at a noodle shop, Qiao Fei went out to deliver an order. Turning into an alley near a corner café, she saw Lin Hao kissing another girl passionately. Even though the girl’s face was hidden, Qiao Fei immediately recognized her—Shen Yiling.
She turned away, silent tears streaming down her face. So, the rumors were true. I’ve been such a fool…
In the days that followed, Qiao Fei withdrew into herself. She avoided Lin Hao and kept her distance. Every affectionate “Fei’er” and “baby” from him now made her skin crawl. Sensing her coldness, Lin Hao grew restless. Eventually, he couldn’t take it anymore.
One night, he picked her up from work and took her to a bar, hoping to clear the air. They sat in a quiet corner, neither speaking. Qiao Fei, staring at the crowd on the dance floor, finally broke the silence.
“Let’s break up.”
Lin Hao, caught mid-sip of his cocktail, was stunned. “Why? Fei’er, listen to me—it’s not what you think. Don’t be mad, I can explain—”
“Enough!” Qiao Fei cut him off sharply. “I don’t need your excuses. I saw it with my own eyes. Don’t insult my intelligence. Thank you for everything, but I won’t let my dignity be trampled on. From now on, we’re nothing. If you still have any decency, we can be classmates. That’s all.”
She stood up to leave. Lin Hao grabbed her wrist, desperation flooding his voice.
“Fei’er, please! I know I’ve made mistakes, but I love you—I really do! Shen Yiling seduced me. I won’t make the same mistake again, I promise. Don’t go!”
Looking at him—tear-streaked, pleading—Qiao Fei felt only disgust. She wrenched her arm away, grabbed her drink, and splashed it in his face. The glass followed, shattering on the floor as she walked away without looking back.
Lin Hao, humiliated for the first time in his life, clenched his fists. Qiao Fei… acting so high and mighty? Every woman I’ve had bows to me. If I can’t have you, I’m not a man!
Fueled by alcohol and rage, Lin Hao chased after her. Just as Qiao Fei stepped out of the bar, he grabbed her from behind, covering her mouth and dragging her into the alley.
Qiao Fei struggled, muffled cries escaping her lips as tears streamed down her face. She felt his breath on her neck, thick with alcohol.
“You think you can leave me? Tonight, you’ll be mine—whether you want to or not.”
Her resistance only ignited his fury. In that desperate, terrifying moment—someone intervened.
Jing Xuan. He appeared like a blade of light in the darkness, saving her from the nightmare that was Lin Hao.
