Golden Temptation – A Yuri Story - Chapter 40
“Fei’er, what do you want to eat?”
“Xuan, are you close with Shen Yiling?”
“Miss Shen? I just met her this afternoon. We’re not close. Why do you ask?”
“Oh, nothing… Xuan, she has a bad reputation at our school. You should keep your distance from her in the future.”
“Oh? Is that so?”
“Really! Ugh, I can’t explain it well, but just remember what I said—stay away from her! She’s the daughter of one of the school board directors and acts like she owns the place. Most students don’t dare cross her.”
“Wow, I wouldn’t have guessed. Alright then, as you command, my dear wife!”
“Who’s your wife?! You’re so annoying~”
“Haha, you are, of course! So, you still haven’t told me—what do you want to eat?”
“Let’s buy some groceries and cook at home.”
“Great idea! Hold on tight, here we go~”
Jing Xuan turned the car around and headed for the supermarket. The two of them pushed a shopping cart through the fresh produce section, picking out ingredients together in preparation for a heartfelt homemade dinner.

At C University…
“You rascal! Shameless rogue! Here I come~”
Liu Xinyu bounced into the Economics Department faculty room. Seeing it empty, she finally dared to loudly call out her beloved’s name.
“Huh? Where is she?”
From behind a filing cabinet, Gao Zhe peeked out and laughed at her silliness. Quietly sneaking up behind her, she planned to give her a surprise hug. But just as she bent down to make her move, Liu Xinyu turned around—and their foreheads collided with a loud thud.
“Ow!!”
Despite her own dizziness, Gao Zhe quickly held her head and asked anxiously, “Xinyu! Are you okay?”
“Okay your head! That hurt like hell~ ouch~”
“I’m sorry! I’m really sorry!”
“What were you trying to do?!”
“Hehehe~”
“You rogue! And you’re laughing?!”
“Okay okay, I’ll stop laughing. I just wanted to surprise you—I didn’t expect you to turn your head.”
“So what were you even planning—ah!”
“This!”
Gao Zhe suddenly swept her up in hier arms and spun her around in circles. Liu Xinyu, already dizzy from the bump, now felt full-on motion sickness.
“Stop! Stop! Put me down! I’m going to be sick!”
As soon as Gao Zhe let her go, Liu Xinyu staggered over to a table and held on for dear life. She glared at her with her beautiful, wide eyes. Gao Zhe felt a little guilty.
“Um… Xinyu? Hehe—AH!”
Xinyu suddenly stepped up and nestled into her chest, then bit down on her shoulder. She didn’t stop until her white shirt was soaked with drool.
Gao Zhe gently pushed her away and pulled open her collar—on her shoulder were two neat rows of deep purple bite marks. It hurt so much, her eyes welled up.
Xinyu looked at her handiwork—not with pride, but with regret and guilt.
“Does it hurt?”
Through clenched teeth, Gao Zhe replied, “What do you think?! Want me to bite you and see?”
Xinyu didn’t answer. Instead, she stood on tiptoe and lightly kissed the mark, then gently blew on it.
“Does it still hurt?”
Gao Zhe had never been treated so tenderly.
“Not… not anymore.”
The two gazed into each other’s eyes, lost in the moment, until their lips finally met in a passionate kiss.
Inside the room, emotions were heating up—outside, a soft drizzle began to fall.

Lin Hao and Qian Xuezhi stepped out of the building.
“Whoa! That’s some heavy rain!”
Winter in the mountain city often brought sudden downpours mixed with snow. In early winter, the rain was frequent and intense but usually brief and unexpected.
“Lin Hao, maybe we should go back. Let’s wait out the rain before heading out.”
“Mm.”
They took shelter in a nearby faculty building. Lin Hao leaned on the windowsill while Qian Xuezhi cracked crude jokes. Lin Hao let a cigarette burn almost down to the filter before casually putting it out on the windowsill. Suddenly, a strange shriek caught his attention.
He immediately signaled Qian Xuezhi to stay quiet and walked toward the sound. Qian followed, clueless but eager to flatter.
What they saw next made Qian’s eyes bulge in disbelief. He opened his mouth to shout but was quickly silenced by Lin Hao’s swift hand.
Inside the room, their professor Gao was passionately kissing a girl—none other than Liu Xinyu, the school beauty!
Gao Zhe’s shirt was mostly unbuttoned, revealing a tight sports bra underneath. She wasn’t curvy like most women, but the visible bumps on her chest clearly revealed her true gender.
Lin Hao kept one hand over Qian’s mouth and used the other to silently pull out his phone, switching to silent mode. He aimed the camera at the steamy scene and hit record.

Qiao Fei glanced at the fresh produce in their cart and figured they had enough. She tugged Jing Xuan toward the checkout counter.
“That’ll be 147 yuan and 40 cents,” said the cashier sweetly.
Jing Xuan opened her wallet and pulled out a 100 and a 50-yuan note, just about to hand them over when someone beat her to it—offering two 100-yuan bills.
“No need for change,” the man told the cashier. “Keep the rest.”
“You…?” Jing Xuan looked at the man in confusion.
“This one’s on me, Mr. Huang.”
Qiao Fei looked curiously at the elegant middle-aged man and replied gently, “Sir, thank you, but I think you’ve mistaken us for someone else. We’re not surnamed Huang.”
The man glanced between Qiao Fei and Jing Xuan and remained polite. “Ah yes, your surname is Jing, isn’t it?”
“Do you need something, Mr. Jing? If not, we’re leaving.”
Jing Xuan gripped Qiao Fei’s hand and tried to walk past the man, but a bodyguard stepped forward to block their way.
“Xuan, perhaps you should be calling me ‘Uncle’ instead of ‘Mr. Jing’?”
“What are you talking about? My dad is an only child. I have no uncle.”
“Child… I know you’ve been through a lot these years. Let me make it up to you.”
“Please, stop joking. My father is in Singapore—my whole family is in Singapore. I’m not your nephew. You’ve definitely mistaken me for someone else.”
Jing Xuan pulled Qiao Fei aside and quickly left the supermarket, dodging the guards.
This time, Jing Cheng didn’t stop them. He fell into deep thought.
Based on their interaction, Jing Xuan’s calm reaction revealed nothing. But the records were clear… Could he really not be the child?
Could there truly be someone who looks that similar?
Just one glance at those eyes, and it all seemed certain.
…Or was it the girl by his side?
Jing Cheng waved to his assistant.
“Prepare for a trip to Singapore.”
“Yes, sir. I’ll make the arrangements right away!”
“Wait. This time, I’m going personally.”
