Got a Happy Ending With My Ex’s Sister? (GL) - Chapter 14: Intimacy
Chapter 14: Intimacy
“Why aren’t you wearing shoes again?” The newcomer’s hoarse voice carried exhaustion, breath uneven, snow still unmelted on their head.
Seeing the person before her, she sighed, brow furrowed, closing the door behind her and grabbing the girl’s wrist to lead her inside.
“Don’t touch me.” Shi Huan struggled, her feet red from the cold. When Tang Yiqiu let go, she curled up on the sofa, hugging her legs, looking frail and pitiful.
Tang Yiqiu brought a cup of brewed medicine. “Drink.”
Shi Huan snapped, “Who are you to boss me around?”
Tang Yiqiu’s face remained stoic.
Shi Huan repeated, “Didn’t you kick me out? Now I’m gone, and you chase after me. Which of us is more shameless?”
Before, she’d have clung to Qin Zhiyan, maybe even stolen a kiss for some sweetness. But now, she was all thorns, ready to hurt herself to know what was in this woman’s heart.
Tang Yiqiu, like iron, stayed cold, her expression unchanging, holding the cup in a silent standoff.
It was torturous. The room had no heat, freezing, and a thin nightgown offered no warmth. Shi Huan shivered. Tang Yiqiu stepped forward, forcefully prying open her clenched fist, shoving the cup into her hand. Medicine splashed everywhere.
Shi Huan’s fingers ached from the force. She’d never seen Tang Yiqiu this angry. Furious and frantic, she yelled, “What the hell do you want? I said I don’t need you…”
Before she finished, Tang Yiqiu pulled her into a tight embrace, restraining her. Shi Huan thrashed, biting her neck. Tang Yiqiu held her head, letting her bite harder.
Shi Huan sank her teeth into the delicate, pale neck until bl00d came, mumbling against her shoulder, “I’m so cold.”
The room was truly freezing, but Tang Yiqiu was like a heater. Shi Huan looked up, no longer seeing Qin Zhiyan but the Tang Yiqiu she adored. Hesitantly, she reached out, and unopposed, began unbuttoning Tang Yiqiu’s clothes.
Tang Yiqiu didn’t resist, even encouraging her, squeezing her waist, pressing against her softness. “Actually, we could just go out like this, hand in hand, hugging. No one would think we’re together. We’d be sneaky.”
“It’s different.” Tang Yiqiu’s throat tightened. “The way you look at me isn’t like others. I can’t contain your fire.”
Shi Huan froze, her hands on Tang Yiqiu’s neck turning cold, but she refused to give up. She pressed her feverish forehead against her, chasing her warmth, bold and unrestrained.
This time, Tang Yiqiu didn’t push her away, holding her as they moved to the bed, which creaked loudly in the quiet night. Tang Yiqiu kissed her, lips brushing lightly.
Shi Huan’s eyes widened, momentarily pulled out of character. Luckily, Tang Yiqiu pressed their foreheads together, hiding her expression from the camera. Shi Huan quickly regained her emotions.
Though the room was unlit, moonlight streamed through the window, and the city’s neon glowed outside, an ever-awake world where every ray of light pried into their forbidden bond.
“Shi Huan.” Tang Yiqiu held her, nibbling her ear, calling her name for the first time not in anger or coldness but with unprecedented tenderness. “You’re dragging me to hell.”
Shi Huan looked up, and for a moment, she saw Tang Yiqiu’s resonance in Qin Zhiyan—or perhaps, this wasn’t Ji Yu’an’s Qin Zhiyan but her Tang Yiqiu.
Lost in the moment, Shi Huan smartly turned her back to the camera, setting the cup on the table. “Sleep with me a bit. I’m tired.”
The scene went perfectly, a single take.
When the director called cut, Tang Yiqiu stood, pulling a blanket over Shi Huan, then quickly fixed her own clothes.
Shi Huan’s cheeks flushed, shyly shrinking back. “Sorry, Teacher Tang, just now…” She’d rubbed against Tang Yiqiu, and though the camera missed it, she heard Tang Yiqiu hum.
“It’s fine.” Tang Yiqiu’s expression was cool, the earlier passion gone.
“Oh… okay.” Shi Huan adjusted herself, grabbing her clothes and climbing out, face red with embarrassment.
If she hadn’t misheard, Tang Yiqiu had called the wrong name. Chen Ling would have it edited out; such a blatant scene wouldn’t make it to the big screen, especially the name slip.
Human desire is uncontrollable, and emotions are inevitable. Chen Ling gave them time to cool off. Only after they were dressed did the lighting crew turn on the room’s lights.
The crew outside blushed, teasing, “Every time we shoot these scenes, Huanhuan and Teacher Tang seem like they’re playing themselves.”
Shi Huan, embarrassed, covered her face, laughing. “It’s all Director Chen’s great teaching. Without his earlier guidance, I’d never have loosened up.”
“True that. If we’re talking flirty, Chen’s the flirtiest. To get Huanhuan to loosen up, he put poor Assistant Dai through the wringer. Remember when Chen taught Huanhuan the under-table leg-rub scene? Dai fell flat on the floor!” Assistant Director Xiao reminisced, sparking laughter.
The crew wiped tears from laughing. “It’s just too tragic, no sweetness. Maybe that’s reality. Life’s tough, and loving the same s3x isn’t a crime, so why do some people judge?”
Xiao patted her shoulder. “Then watch Teacher Tang and Huanhuan more. When the scenes get too heavy, I sneak a peek at them, digging for sweetness. It’s pretty sweet.”
“Hell, this CP is shippable.”
Before, Shi Huan wouldn’t dare act flirty in front of so many, always choking at key moments, frustrating Chen Ling to demonstrate himself, dragging Assistant Dai into a male version of a seduction scene.
That was why Chen Ling had snapped earlier, but… everyone’s eyes turned to Tao Ziyan, still frozen on set, not just embarrassed but stunned.
Shi Huan’s emotional flow and Tang Yiqiu’s synergy were flawless, seamless. Tao Ziyan wanted to find fault but had to admit this wasn’t acting—it was Shi Huan and Tang Yiqiu, renamed, playing themselves. That’s true clout-chasing!
Her “emotional guidance” and “personal coaching” boasts were her own trap. Forget Tang Yiqiu’s award-winning acting—Chen Ling, a top director, wasn’t someone she could critique.
Tao Ziyan finally understood Shi Huan’s complex look—pure mockery. Glancing around, she saw everyone eyeing her the same way…
Intimate, seductive scenes like this? No director would personally guide them. Chen Ling used an assistant to avoid rumors of impropriety, but Yang Hao personally coached her, praising her “natural” feel!
Wasn’t that admitting an affair? Wasn’t this just humiliating herself?
Shi Huan savored Tao Ziyan’s expression, wishing to burrow into the ground, cozy by the heater. Wen Jing couldn’t hold back. “Huanhuan, look at Tao Ziyan’s face, pale as a ghost. If the media were here, she’d be outing herself as Yang Hao’s mistress.”
Shi Huan smiled, the sweetness lingering in her mouth. During the kiss, she’d slipped her tongue, tasting Tang Yiqiu’s sweetness. Tang Yiqiu had eaten the same chocolate flavor before the scene.
“Pass me some water,” she said.
Wen Jing handed her a bottle with a straw. “Huanhuan, why not rile Tao Ziyan up? She’s been stomping on you these past days. I’m pissed. If I were you, I’d parade around her.”
“Why bother? I’m not brainless like her. Look at her now—me ignoring her hurts more.” Shi Huan said, “Let her stew, let her taste being gawked at, unable to explain.”
When she was falsely accused of being a mistress, her Weibo clarifications and evidence were ignored, and the hate was worse than this. What was Tao Ziyan’s pain compared to that?
Shi Huan propped her chin, gazing at Tang Yiqiu, who faced away, talking to Chen Ling. Content, she said, “Besides, I’ve already chased the clout I needed.”
Wen Jing, half-understanding, was confused.
Tao Ziyan, lips pursed, glanced her way, starting to approach. Shi Huan stood, heading to Chen Ling, giving her no chance to clear things up.
The scene was so thrilling that even stern Chen Ling asked, “Feeling good?”
“Totally.” Shi Huan grinned wide. “Thanks for the chance, Director Chen. If she’s too annoying, I’ll have Wen Jing shoo her off.”
“Make it satisfying,” Chen Ling said. “I can’t stand scheming artists. You, be serious too. Don’t just agree upfront and then do shady stuff behind my back.”
He meant her sneaking a peek at Tang Yiqiu’s script, no malice intended. Shi Huan, scared of another scolding, shrank back.
Chen Ling discussed with the screenwriter. “This scene passed. The characters need growth. Qin Zhiyan can’t stay so cold. Tang Yiqiu, show some emotion.”
Tang Yiqiu’s acting was flawless. The screenwriter tweaked her character and emotional arc, saying, “Soften a bit, in your tone.”
The screenwriter’s vague words didn’t land. Chen Ling cut in, “Be a bit indulgent, even coy. Know what coy is?”
Tang Yiqiu frowned, not quite getting it.
Chen Ling waved Shi Huan over. “Come here. Tang Yiqiu, now act coy with her!”
Shi Huan: “!!!”
