Guide Her to Nowhere (NPH) - Chapter 12: Giving You a Bath
Chapter 12: Giving You a Bath
Shi Xi didn’t give Qu Tang any chance to defend herself. He directly picked her up in a bridal carry and took her upstairs, tossing her into the bathtub and turning on the water to fill it.
The bathtub was large, easily accommodating the two of them.
Shi Xi straddled Qu Tang on both sides, grabbing the collar of her blouse and tearing it apart to the sides. The blouse buttons popped off one by one, exposing the light blue lingerie and her pale, delicate skin.
Qu Tang quickly covered herself, “What are you doing?”
“Giving you a bath. Aren’t you afraid of me finding out and wanting to wash away the scent on you? I want to try too, see if it can really be washed off.”
Shi Xi repeated his previous actions, tearing open Qu Tang’s pants and pants legs, then yanking them off and tossing them out of the bathtub.
Qu Tang, now only in her lingerie, wanted to curl up, but Shi Xi leaned down, sitting on her legs to restrain her.
He reached out of the bathtub to grab the shower gel, opening the cap and squeezing a large amount into his palm. Then, he rubbed his hands together and began applying it to Qu Tang’s body.
Neck, chest and abdomen, arms, legs…
“Have you gone crazy? How can you do this?” Qu Tang was ashamed and indignant. She pushed him, clawed him, and slapped him, but nothing worked.
“Crazy?” Shi Xi laughed, “Didn’t you ask around about me when you were looking for information? Didn’t you find out that I came here to recuperate from an illness?”
Qu Tang’s back chilled, not only because Shi Xi’s words implied that he was mentally ill, but also because he knew she had inquired about him. What kind of employer would investigate their employee to the point of stalking?
Just how much did he know about her?
Seeing Qu Tang’s silence, Shi Xi gripped her neck, pushing her against the edge of the bathtub, “What, are you finally scared?”
There was not a single glimmer of light in Shi Xi’s eyes.
Qu Tang glared at him, “Can you ask this without choking my neck?”
Shi Xi paused for a moment, then burst out laughing. His whole body shook with laughter.
After laughing his fill, he leaned in close to Qu Tang, his hand still gripping her neck, “Qu Tang, do you know how poor your acting skills are?”
Qu Tang’s acting skills were poor, and she didn’t even know it, thinking she had performed flawlessly.
The first time Shi Xi met her, he could already see that this third-class citizen’s eyes, though seeming respectful and obedient towards him, actually concealed arrogance – the kind that made you want to punch a cotton ball. She didn’t care.
Shi Xi didn’t care either, until he awakened as a sentinel and his spirit beast became excessively fond and passionate towards Qu Tang. That’s when he really started to pay attention to her.
Then he found Qu Tang to be a particularly interesting person.
She was like an outsider floating outside the world, yet also falling into it. She accepted the rules of this world, but didn’t agree with them, as evidenced by her daring to yell and glare at him.
Perhaps because she didn’t agree with this world, Qu Tang seemed exceptionally insincere, not being genuine in anything she did.
For example, her obedience towards him was false, as was her fear. The only genuine thing was her evasion.
Why was she avoiding him? When she had already let other sentinels touch her.
He couldn’t accept it, and wouldn’t allow it.
“What do you mean?” Qu Tang was perplexed.
“It’s a secret.”
Qu Tang: “…”
He’s definitely mentally ill.
Seeing that Shi Xi’s emotions had calmed considerably, Qu Tang pushed him, “Young master, can you let me up now?”
She was half-reclining in the bathtub, the water already reaching her navel, feeling chilly.
“Of course not, I said I’d give you a bath.”
“Didn’t you say it can’t be washed off?” Qu Tang regretted the words as soon as they left her mouth.
What a case of not knowing when to keep one’s mouth shut.
“Then I’ll wash until it naturally disappears.”
As Shi Xi said this, the hand gripping Qu Tang’s neck tightened, “And don’t let any other sentinels touch you again, or I’ll kill them and eat you piece by piece.”
A sentinel losing control and cannibalizing their guide was a real historical event.
“You… Mmph!”
Qu Tang’s rebuttal was once again blocked, but this time Shi Xi used his lips, not his hand.
