- Chapter 22 - Kissing Skills Too Poor
So, when Shi Mi arrived at the company with the delivery, only to be told she had to personally deliver it to the office, a hint of confusion crossed her face.
Could she really go up there?
She vaguely remembered the person saying it was for President Gu’s office.
Could it be Gu Zhichou?
Shi Mi’s cheeks flushed at the thought. The previous encounter at the hospital had already been such a coincidence.
How could her luck be this good again?
She glanced down at the receipt and confirmed the name: Gu Zhichou.
Standing in the elevator, Shi Mi stared blankly at the ascending numbers.
Does she really love cake that much?
Ordering it again?
In truth, Gu Zhichou didn’t particularly care for sweets; she rarely ate them. She simply wanted to see Shi Mi again.
Gu Zhichou admitted to herself that she was taking a gamble.
Thankfully, her gamble paid off.
Shi Mi had barely caught a whiff of that intoxicating scent before a hand pulled her into the office. Two arms wrapped around her waist, pinning her against the door.
Gu Zhichou had already lowered the blinds, ensuring no one outside could witness what was about to unfold.
She nuzzled into Shi Mi’s neck, her voice soft and playful.
“Little Mute, surprised? Unexpected?”
Shi Mi couldn’t help but smile at the sound of her voice. The warm breath from Gu Zhichou’s words brushed against her neck. Those wisps of curly hair tugged at her heart.
Shi Mi pressed her lips together, longing to reach out and touch that soft, fluffy head.
Gu Zhichou raised her head first, narrowing her eyes at Shi Mi suspiciously.
“What are you doing? Only I’m allowed to touch your head.”
Shi Mi stared back innocently, as if asking why.
Gu Zhichou huffed, using her height to pat Shi Mi’s head. She loved this possessive gesture, encircling the other woman.
“There’s no reason. I said only I can, so only I can.”
She was the young mistress, after all, and needed to maintain her authority.
Shi Mi lowered her gaze in disappointment and handed Gu Zhichou the paper bag containing the cake. Then she turned to open the door.
“Why are you in such a hurry to leave?” Gu Zhichou asked, her earlier smugness vanishing instantly. “Don’t you miss me?”
She grabbed Shi Mi’s hand, which was pressing against the doorknob.
This is Lenz’s Law in action! Learned something new today!
Keep being stubborn, Zhizhi. If you can’t sweet-talk your wife, someone else will snatch her away someday.
As everyone knows, energy is conserved. So when one person gets flustered, the other…
…enjoys watching her panic.
Gu Zhichou was indeed flustered, but while her words might lack sweetness, her actions were remarkably decisive.
She wrapped one arm around Shi Mi’s waist, leaning her entire weight against her back. With her other hand, she quietly removed Shi Mi’s hand from the doorknob and locked the door.
Shi Mi, held in a tight embrace, turned her head to look, her cheek brushing against Gu Zhichou’s lips.
Her eyes deepened slightly, and a faint smile curved her lips.
Why is she always so easy to fool?
A simple hook and she followed, like a naive, worldly-inexperienced young tiger.
Ferocious at heart, yet utterly devoted to her.
Her words were forceful, but her tone was soft and lacked any real aggression.
At that moment, Gu Zhichou was like a kettle coming to a boil, her neck flushing crimson that spread across her entire face.
But afraid the other woman would escape, she dared not retreat.
Shi Mi feigned surprise, shifting slightly to let those soft lips brush against her cheek.
Gu Zhichou found herself addicted to the sensation, a thin mist gathering in her narrow, phoenix-shaped eyes.
She tightened her hold around Shi Mi’s waist, urging her to turn slowly.
And then, those lips pressed against the corner of Shi Mi’s mouth.
“Little Mute…”
“You… you came on to me yourself.”
Shi Mi couldn’t suppress a smile. Even now, she was still trying to justify herself?
For Gu Zhichou, saving face was truly important.
Her eyes flickered slightly as she nodded, then tilted her head back to lick the corner of Shi Mi’s mouth.
A finger traced words on the back of Gu Zhichou’s hand, which rested on Shi Mi’s waist.
I was wrong.
Gu Zhichou was too absorbed in kissing Shi Mi’s soft lips to notice what she was writing. Her eyes were half-closed, her mind filled with the “kiss” she had seen earlier.
The internet is actually useful sometimes, she thought.
All her anxiety had completely dissolved with the kiss.
Gu Zhichou, acting on instinct, entangled her lips with Shi Mi’s, sucking and nibbling. A sensual atmosphere rose between them.
Shi Mi concealed the greed and cunning in her eyes, half-yielding and half-resisting as she entwined with Gu Zhichou. Whenever she showed signs of shock or a desire to escape, Gu Zhichou would tighten her hold.
Unable to speak, Shi Mi could only gasp softly.
Gu Zhichou, lost in her passion, completely forgot to give Shi Mi a chance to breathe.
The bag of cakes had been tossed onto the table at some point.
Gu Zhichou pinned Shi Mi to the sofa, her hands gripping Shi Mi’s waist.
Though she had initiated the kiss, Gu Zhichou was the first to succumb. Her eyes glazed over as she murmured between kisses, “Little Mute, I knew you’d come…”
Shi Mi, trapped beneath Gu Zhichou, her eyes curved upward in a smile that threatened to overflow.
The sickly beauty misses me.
She kept twisting her words, refusing to admit it.
Shi Mi ran a hand up Gu Zhichou’s back, gently lifting her by the nape of her neck.
Like grabbing a puppy that bites indiscriminately.
Gu Zhichou, exceptionally sensitive, froze instantly, her back tingling.
She shrank her neck and spoke in a soft, pleading voice.
“Little Mute, you won’t let me kiss you…”
Shi Mi’s lips curled into a mischievous smile as she cupped Gu Zhichou’s face, her teeth nibbling at her chin.
The warm, damp breath and intimate touch sent shivers down Gu Zhichou’s spine.
Her fingers tugged open Shi Mi’s collar, lightly writing on the hollow of her collarbone:
Your kissing skills are terrible.
Gu Zhichou’s mind was in chaos, barely registering the words.
Yet Shi Mi’s dark eyes held a clear threat:Â If you don’t say it, I won’t let you kiss me.
Gu Zhichou pouted, tears suddenly blurring her vision.
“You’re bullying me,” she whimpered.
I’m a young lady! How dare you bully me? I’ve lost all my dignity!
Shi Mi flashed a harmless smile and wrote the message again.
Now it was worse. Before, Gu Zhichou had only been sulking. Now tears were streaming down her face.
Gu Zhichou bit her lower lip, tears falling freely.
She cursed herself inwardly for being so weak. She hated seeing others cry, yet here she was, a blubbering mess.
“It’s my first time…”
Shi Mi pinched her cheek, her palm wet with Gu Zhichou’s tears.
Her desire surged. She licked the tears from her hand.
She tasted the salty, sour flavor.
Gu Zhichou’s pupils dilated slightly as she saw the tip of Shi Mi’s tongue.
Suddenly disregarding the restraint on the back of her neck, she lowered her head to find Shi Mi’s lips.
She hooked that tender pink tongue and drew it into her own mouth to suckle.
Her voice deepened slightly.
“Whether it’s good or bad, we’ll need to try it a few more times to know for sure.”
“Little Mute, how did you learn to be so naughty again?”
But Shi Mi had always been mischievous; she just liked to pretend otherwise.
Especially when she saw how easily Gu Zhichou cried.
The thrill of personally bullying her into tears had quickly become addictive.
Gu Zhichou’s movements were clumsy and forceful, lacking finesse.
She kissed Shi Mi’s lips until they were swollen, red, and numb.
Yet Shi Mi lowered her eyes in contentment, gently stroking Gu Zhichou’s cheek.
This is my first time too.
But as long as it’s you, I wouldn’t mind even if it’s terrible.
