Summary
The creator of the game known as the Hourglass Project calls himself “Father.” Without warning, he brings all of humanity into his twisted game, launching a series of mad, godlike actions.
Humans become players. After undergoing forced information implants, their minds are reduced to a single thought: Survive. Grow stronger.
Among the five main characters, Li Moyao was born to be a “cheat” a walking glitch in the system. She leads the other four, each of whom eventually gains cheat-like powers, pushing forward with one ultimate goal:
Fight for humanity. Fight for Earth.
As players around the world climb the brutal ladder of advancement, shedding bl00d, making sacrifices, and trading innocence for cunning, a voice deep inside still screams out in defiance. Hatred, madness, and unyielding will intertwine as humanity builds a river of survival with flesh and bone, birthing an unshakable faith.
