How does it feel to step into a B-grade horror game? - 13
Episode 13.
She continued to hang on to her as if she didn’t like it, and in the end, Hakan hugged her tightly and smiled low, her face buried on her shoulders.
‘I’m going crazy. What can I do?’
I don’t know what to do with this overflowing lovely girl. Hakan hugged her tightly and rubbed the corners of her eyes as she looked up at me with an anxious face.
“I’ll be back.”
Of course, it wasn’t a bad thing to be in Hakan’s arms all the time, but it was a nuisance to him. After a hesitating, Fidelis finally let Hakan go, and without hesitation he entered the door. As soon as he entered, the knife fell menacingly.
“Hakan!”
Fidelis was horrified by the sword that stopped on the top of his head, and Hakan smiled even brighter, as if to tell him not to worry.
“Don’t worry. I have a shield.”
“Oh.”
Only then did Fidelis breathe a sigh of relief, and after seeing her, he looked forward again and walked. At that moment, a black shadow appeared behind her, who had been quietly staring at Hakan’s back from outside the door. Before he had time to check what it was, he hurriedly dropped the black liquid at her feet. Surprised, Fidelis turned his head and locked eyes with a man.
“Name: Dino
Characteristic: Killer (Main Target: Female)”
Confusion appeared in her eyes when she saw the translucent window, and then she frowned involuntarily when she saw the words “Main Target: Women.” Fidelis let out a short scream in surprise at the sudden appearance of a large black hole. Dino smiled wry as he watched her quickly disappear into the black hole.
* * *
It was only a few minutes before Fidelis was to be moved. Dino was strolling through the endless hallways. Despite his determination not to let go, he couldn’t find Hakan anywhere. It’s not easy to find people with magic sensing, and Dino didn’t dare to do it.
“Damn it.”
Swearing wildly, Dino slumped down on the floor to calm his still trembling body at Hakan’s life. I was racking my head and wondering what to do. There was a faint sound of speech. Dino stretched his neck in the direction of the sound, and Hakan and Fidelis caught his eye. Dino smirked at the two of them in the back.
He pulled out a medicine bottle with a black liquid in his arms. This time, he moved further away and carefully followed him so that he wouldn’t notice at all, taking stock of the situation. Having simply killed the bug-like monster that appeared out of nowhere, he seemed somehow satisfied. Hakan, who came out late as if he was doing something in his room, was somehow reassuring Fidelis, who was trembling.
As he snuck along, Fidelis turned to make Hakan’s eyes, causing Dino to frown.
“What? It’s not her, is it?”
I could tell just by looking at the color of their eyes, which were similar but distinctly different.
“Come to think of it, we’re dressed differently.”
Fidelis was wearing only a thin nightgown, in contrast to her flamboyant dress. I didn’t know where I had taken my shoes, but I could only see my white bare feet.
“There’s no way he’s going to hold her in his arms.”
Dino wrinkled his face as he recalled the white-haired woman. It was Dino who had been sneering at the gorgeous dress when they all met as volunteers. The woman ran a swipe at the man up and down, swearing bitterly and humiliating him in public. Dino gritted his teeth at the thought of it again.
Dino laughed wryly, thinking that since she couldn’t do anything about it, he should kill the woman who looked like her to get rid of her anger. After patiently and relentlessly chasing them, Dino finally seized the opportunity. When Hakan entered a room alone, Dino lunged at her and sprayed a black potion on the floor.
If you use it outside, you can go where you want, but you don’t know where you will be transported here. However, when they entered together, they were moved to the same space. Dino was going to play with her as soon as he moved with her. Like any other person he had killed.
For a moment, he looked at me and was embarrassed, but when Fidelis looked straight at me and his face flushed, Dino felt dirty. But that was only a moment, and Fidelis let out a muffled scream as she was sucked to the floor. Hakan turned around with his shoes in his hand at Fidelis’ screams and was taken aback to see her being dragged into a black hole.
“Reese!”
His face turned contemplative, and he screamed desperately to run, but in the end he lost sight of her. Hakan’s eyes trembled violently after missing Fidelis. Dino took it easy and tried to follow Fidelis, but Hakan’s murderous gaze shifted to him, and his legs stiffened again.
Dino came to his senses and realized that the hole in the black hole was already gone, so he tried to escape to the other hallway, but Hakan grabbed him by the skull and slammed him into the wall.
“Son of a.”
A gritty voice came out.
“Ugh!”
Dino missed the timing to catch up and struggled with his face caught in the hands of a large hakan. The powerful force grabbed Dino’s face and wouldn’t let go. Instead, Dino screamed in pain at the strength of his grip.
“Aaa
“Shut up before you get your mouth shut. You only have to answer what I ask.”
In the dark hallway, only Hakan’s eyes shone brightly. A bloody energy that was distinctly different from when he was with Fidelis began to creep up. His hidden strength began to come out. Even though he didn’t have half the strength, Dino couldn’t take any defensive stance and began to breathe heavily.
“I should have killed him then.”
He muttered a pity, and his voice sounded like the life of an angry predator. Floating the shoes he had picked up in his room, he asked in a calm tone, nonchalant.
“Where did you send Reese?”
“Auck, auck.”
Hakan’s eyes glazed over, and he tightened his grip even more.
“Aaa
“Don’t scream, answer.”
“Mo, I don’t know!”
Hakan’s eyes were full of mercy as he looked at Dino with his face tilted diagonally. Hakan’s eyes began to shiver as if he were experiencing the cold of winter.
“You don’t seem to have any regrets in life.”
He muttered nonchalantly and slashed his wrist, and it fell to the floor.
“Aaa
“I am.”
He cut off Dino’s screams of pain and his lips opened coldly.
“I told you to open your mouth only when you answered my words.”
“Auck, auck, no.”
There was nothing good in provoking the madman in front of me. Dino gritted his teeth as much as he could and swallowed his scream.
I should have gone with her!
Dino gritted his teeth and regretted it, but it was too late.
“Once again. Where are you?”
“Mo, I don’t know…!”
“Hah.”
He swept his hair back in annoyance. Hakan turned his gaze to the other wrist, and Dino shouted in horror.
“I really don’t know! I’m sure it’s somewhere in this mansion, but I don’t know the exact location! Are you serious! Help me!”
Hakan’s gaze shifted from his wrist back to Dino’s face.
“Hey, everything is a mess here, and even if I make the coordinates, it will fall in a completely different place!”
I knew that. That’s why Hakan didn’t use teleportation magic recklessly. I didn’t know where it was going to fall. Dino meant what he said, and Fidelis was still somewhere in this mansion. Barefoot, alone.
“I need to go and hug you. I’m not crying again.”
The thought of Fidelis walking around with his injured bare feet, whimpering in horror, made his blood rush upside down.
What if someone spots her first? What if someone harms her?
Anger flared up spontaneously. Dino screamed at the growing grip. Dino slumped down as his legs gave out, and Hakan let go.
“Uh-huh.”
Clutching his severed wrist, he looked down at the weeping Dino coldly.
“Looks like you’re sick.”
“Nope.”
“Those who died at your hands must have hurt more than that.”
Hakan’s nonchalant muttering made Dino pause. Dino, who was dripping with tears, looked up at Hakan with anxiety in his eyes, and he was staring at one place. Women who didn’t know how long they had been there were staring at the two of them, Dino to be exact, at a certain distance from each other, their grotesquely bent bodies creaking.
Tears of blood flowed uncontrollably down their faces, and rotten smell vibrated from their bodies. They lingered in one place, unable to come near Hakan’s cruel and ferocious life.
[Porridge… I’m going to throw it away….]
“Give it to me, I’m going to chop it up like …….
[It hurts, it hurts, it hurts…….]
Their clamor caught Hakan by the throat and lifted him up.
“Bastards like you, I know very well. A loser in life who can’t do anything about the strong and only kills those who are weaker than him. Squishy and pathetic bastards. I don’t kill innocent people, though.”
Dino’s face contorted with anger as he stabbed him in the head, but Hakan didn’t care.
“You should do the same.”
When he was about to throw Dino at the feet of the dead who were supposed to live, he grabbed him sadly and shook his head.
“Oh, no! Do not! Please let me live!”
Hakan chuckled in disbelief and tightened his grip on his neck.
“Why did I not save those who died at your hands when they begged to be saved?”
A look of contempt fell on Dino, and Hakan threw him away in their direction without hesitation. Dino’s screams echoed through the hallway.
“Aaa Sa, save me!”
Hakan stared into the distance at Dino, whose arms had been torn off alive and his eyes were glazed over, lost in thought. The ghost in the mansion was thought to be a ghost created by the devil. However, the victims who died at Dino’s hands were wandering around the mansion.
The devil might still be watching this place. Otherwise, there could not have been victims who had died at the hands of Dino, who had lived in the mansion for decades and had only lived for a short time.
But Hakan’s thoughts didn’t last long. Whether he did or not, all he had to do was find Fidelis to break the curse of this place and leave. The rest was unknown.
I don’t know if it will work or not, but I have no choice but to sense Fidelis’ magic and find it. He closed his eyes and focused his mind. Fidelis’ magic could be detected from quite a distance. Luckily, if I didn’t try to go outside, it didn’t seem to confuse the mana.
As he hurried away, Hakan gently touched his floating shoes. Then the flames erupted and burned his shoes to the ground.
“I don’t need this.”
The corners of his mouth curled up and Hakan was about to resume his steps.
