How does it feel to step into a B-grade horror game? - 21
Episode 21.
It looked ordinary, but it was a healing item. It was a necklace that could heal a severely wounded person at once. Unfortunately, this item was a one-off. It was hidden in his pajamas, and no one else could see it, so Hakan, Isota, and Shion didn’t know Fidelis had it.
I’ve shared the hints, but I’m not ready to tell you yet that the devil and the demons have summoned me to break me. I’ll tell him later if I get a chance, but not now. I didn’t want to talk about it.
Because of her resemblance to Sarha, she was ignored by her father as a child. If Isota knew that she had fallen victim to the Demon because of her resemblance to her, that the Demon had brought her here as he had planned, that she had been taken advantage of, no matter how strong she was, she would never be able to hold on to her sanity.
It was Isota, who had been trying to find me all his life. But he didn’t want to think about Isota’s reaction when he found out that all of this was a foundation laid by the devil, that he had summoned his brother here with his own hands.
“It would be nice to be able to share more hints with others, right? Mr. Isota.”
“You know who’s in, but you’re still snobbish.”
“Shall we force you to take it from us?”
It was Zion who casually made scary noises. Zion asked with such a big smile that Fidelis almost thought, “That’s that easy.”
“I think that’s a pretty good idea.”
Isn’t it all good when the curse is lifted anyway?
Isota brushed his chin seriously.
“There’s a huge reward at stake, and I wonder if everyone will be happy that the curse has been lifted.”
Hakan’s objection was correct, and Shion and Isota’s heads nodded up and down.
* * *
“Auck, no…….”
“… You’re a bird… ……. is a big deal”
Beth, who had been looking at each note with a languid gesture, lowered her gaze.
The corners of his mouth lifted slightly, staring at the two of them lying on the floor, bleeding profusely.
“What’s the matter? Didn’t you and I come in to do whatever it takes to get the reward?”
Holding her sword stuck in the floor, Beth cast her gaze at Chess and Lurie, who were vomiting blood.
“I’m just doing it very well.”
The blood dripped from their swords, soaking the floor. Beth haphazardly shoved the note she was holding into her pocket and pressed the blade to Chess’ neck. Gassing heavily, Chess’s eyes glowed bloodily.
“… Hakan and Isota aren’t going to be stupid.”
Chess, which uttered a word of warning, seemed to be cursing somewhere. With a humorous shrug, Beth raised her sword and slit Chess’ throat without hesitation. Blood gushed from the neatly cut section of his neck.
“I’m a thinking person, so are you going to call them crazy?”
He casually replied to the already dead chess, then turned and approached Ruri. With her eyes already lifeless, she could only vomit blood and seemed powerless to resist. Sticking her sword in and out of her heart without hesitation, Beth casually brushed the blood off her sword and left.
Bloody footprints were neatly etched into the hallway, and Beth disappeared into the darkness. A faint smile formed on Pecua’s lips as she looked at the whole situation.
“I’d like him.”
It was time to start the game in earnest.
* * *
Squeak, squeak, squeak.
They stared blankly at the nameless ghost that was mysteriously breaking its body in front of Fidelis’ company.
Squeak, squeak, squeak.
The protruding bones eventually crushed the flesh, and the bloody sound of the flesh being torn apart was clearly audible to Fidelis’ ears. Biting her lip, Fidelis tried to calm herself.
‘, think of it as a break-dance.’
He clenched his fists and looked at the ghost with fear.
Crack, squeak. Jiik, Jiik.
‘I think it’s a hard dance!’
Biting his lip, he tightened his eyes and stared at the ghost before Fidelis squeezed his eyes shut.
“That’s not good. It’s challenging.”
Fidelis, who had quickly given up, spoke firmly, and Isota and Hakan agreed.
“That’s right, he’s so disgusting.”
“I’ll look for something else.”
Rubbing Fidelis’ white lips, Hakan gently soothed her.
“Ugh, ugh! It’s disgusting!”
Shion, who was clinging to Isota, also kept his eyes shut. Throwing him out of the way, Isota reduced the ghost in front of him to ashes in one fell swoop.
“Let’s try to find something a little easier this time. You can open your eyes now.”
Holding his breath, Fidelis scratched his cheek in disbelief.
“… I’m sorry.”
“It’s not a sin to be scared. Don’t worry.”
In fact, it was Fidelis and Zion’s suggestion that this was done. With the curse to be lifted, he couldn’t hide behind their backs forever. Unwilling to cling to Hakan and Isota and hoping for help, Fidelis sought to strengthen his courage with Zion.
He decided to stare at the ghost for as long as he could, but Shion had already given up and clung to Isota. Fidelis held back and finally surrendered to the naked white bones and the crackling of the bones.
I wanted them to get used to it like watching Edu and Esie, but for some reason, I couldn’t get used to the rest of the ghosts looking as cute as they did.
“Fidelis, shall we give up?”
Zion’s sincere question almost made Fidelis nod in agreement.
“What have you done, have you already given up?”
As soon as he saw the ghost, he slapped Shion for closing his eyes, and he cried.
“Isota, I’m a delicate man. I can’t see that!”
“That’s why I’m trying to build up my courage.”
“I feel like I’m going to give up everything.”
It was Zion who replied seriously. Fidelis had secretly understood Zion’s heart.
“Right? Fidelis is just like me, isn’t she?”
“I’ll keep my mouth shut.”
Evading answers, Fidelis looked over Hakan’s shoulder. The awful darkness remained. He was walking around the mansion in Hakan’s arms, who was supposed to be holding Fidelis in his arms.
Tuk, tuk, tuk.
“……?”
Took.
The sound stopped. I looked around, but I couldn’t see anything. As someone who had experienced it, Fidelis had a vague idea that there was something. Hakan patted her back with a sense of security against her fluttering pupils. When you feel a constant pat and try to loosen the body that has been straining you,
Tuk, tuk, tuk.
There was another steady sound.
“Hey, can’t you hear this?”
“I hear you!”
It was Isota who replied cheerfully.
“It’s all right, Reese.”
Isota stroked her cheek as if she was dying of her frightened brother’s cuteness. The ghosts here were undetectable by magic, so it was impossible to predict when and where they would emerge.
Thinking that it couldn’t be a sound, he lowered his gaze ominously to see a long finger. Fingers that looked like they had passed through the ground were slowly tapping on the floor. Fidelis’ pupils began to twitch as he wrapped his arms around Hakan’s neck. His fingers paused for a moment, perhaps sensing her gaze. And then…….
Crackle!
His fingers hit the floor like they were going to crack his fingernails, and then he popped up. A long-armed hand tried to grab Fidelis’ face. Surprised, Fidelis tightened his grip on Hakan’s neck.
“Hick!”
“Ugh! Lee, Reese?”
Surprised by the sheer force, Hakan grabbed her arm.
“I’ve learned the skill ‘Strangulation’. 」
Inadvertently using the skill on Hakan, Fidelis untied his arm and slapped it violently before he could feel sorry for him.
Ugh!
There was the sound of bones breaking, followed by a series of mechanical voices.
“Skill: Learned ‘Iron Fist’. 」
Fidelis, who had gained two skills almost at the same time, was stunned. The faces of the three of them stared blankly at Fidelis, who was fighting hard alone, and became indescribably subtle.
“My brother… You’re afraid of ghosts, aren’t you?”
“Is the reason why you’re strangling me all of a sudden because I did something wrong?”
“Is that arm strength also genetic?”
Isota, Hakan, and Shion’s back-to-back questions stiffened Fidelis’ body. The thought of a vivid demonstration of a solo rampage made my face flutter.
“He’s got an ear, there’s a ghost….”
“You catch flies, don’t you?”
“Well, make an analogy!”
At Shion’s words, Isota angrily slapped him on the shoulder.
[Cher… That’s right.]
[Oh, we Fidelis don’t forgive ears, ghosts!]
“… For now, Edu and Essie are ghosts, but I’ll get over the little things.”
Fidelis timidly distracted Edu and Essie as they talked. Hakan swept his throbbing throat once. Fidelis gently pressed her hand around his neck in apology, and he drew a arc at the corner of his mouth.
“I didn’t mean to… I’m sorry!”
‘Why does the strangulation skill come out of that…’
I thought it was quiet, but it wasn’t like that again. I wondered if the demon was more tenacious than I thought, or if the demon was unknowingly triggering his skills randomly.
“It hurts a lot….”
Hakan grabbed Fidelis’ hand and moved it to his cheek, his eyes narrowly folded.
“I feel like I’m getting better now that I’m doing this.”
He rubbed his cheek against the palm of his hand and pinched Hakan’s cheek as he smiled sweetly.
“Reese?”
“Well, it’s kind of disgusting.”
Fidelis muttered, his pinched hand relaxed, and Hakan chuckled lowly. A good tone rang pleasantly in my ears.
“I should have grabbed the ball and ripped it off. I’ll have to do that next time.”
“Mr. Isota, Hakan’s cheeks are not to be torn apart. He’s scared of his skin.”
Hakan, who didn’t even pay attention to them as they casually made a bloody noise, nonchalantly went to Shion’s side and slapped him on the foot.
“Argh!”
“Ouch!”
Fidelis screamed in surprise, almost screaming behind his back.
“Why, why!”
Fidelis looked at Shion with a stunned heart, and Shion made straight eye contact with Hakan, who was glaring at him with a bloody glare. Zion muttered liberatedly.
“I think I saw the devil.”
“Really? Where?”
Fidelis, who had a history of encounters with demons, took it as true and looked around.
“The devil may actually be close to us. For example…….”
“Like, what?”
Hakan asked Shion a blurted question, and he tried to keep his composure and smack Isota’s back. Leaving Zion to stick again, they resumed their feet and began walking.
