How does it feel to step into a B-grade horror game? - 25
Episode 25.
Fidelis gritted her teeth at Pecua’s filthy work. I wondered if this was what he meant by making anyone unhappy, of ruining me who was innocent.
The devil was selfish. She was selfish and mean, and she was busy blaming others for her failure to protect her. I became a scapegoat there.
He made me break up with my sister because of my resemblance to Sarha, and he was busy making horror games that didn’t work, watching me tremble and laughing at me.
He had acquired some weird skills to my advantage, but even that felt like he was playing with me.
Even though Sarha and I were very different, she didn’t admit that we were different, and she played with me to relieve her anger and ease her guilt. Pecua had planned this from the beginning.
His teeth gnashed in anger. If it was limited to me, I wouldn’t be so angry. Now the devil had given Fidelis a choice.
Will you die yourself, or will you kill your sister to break the curse and live in peace?
‘Maybe the devil wants a despicable image of me killing you with my own hands.’
In the end, Fidelis crumpled the paper roughly.
‘Do you think I’m going to fall for it?’
After all, I thought I had all the happiness I would have for the rest of my life. My life there was blind and dark, but in this dark and scary place, I met someone who really gave for me. That was enough. If only there was someone who would truly cry when I died.
Really, that alone was enough to sacrifice himself to lift the curse and let the rest go.
“Reese.”
As Fidelis cleared his mind and made a decision on his own, a stern voice came into his ear.
“I don’t know what you’re thinking.”
Hakan’s hand was slightly chilly, covering Fidelis’ cheek. Frowning his eyebrows, Hakan gently brushed her cheek with a thumb and added:
“Whatever it is, I’m never going to do what you want. I wish I knew that, Reese.”
Then he pressed his lips to her forehead. Surprised, Isota and Shion just opened their mouths, not even thinking to take Fidelis away from Hakan.
Even Fidelis couldn’t avoid it, and he froze in surprise. Suddenly, his breath was close enough to touch, his lips touching and falling slightly, and an uncanny silence enveloped them.
Fidelis carefully raised his hand to cover her forehead, and he kissed the back of her hand that covered her forehead once more.
“Ugh, huh?”
He was so surprised that a strange exclamation burst out, and Hakan laughed, his eyes folded.
“Why? Don’t you like it…?”
Looking at Hakan, who was sullen with a somewhat wounded face, Edu and Eshi, Shion and Isota’s expressions crumpled strangely.
“Oh, no, it’s not that, it’s just so sudden….”
“Then I’ll talk to you next time. Is that okay?”
“Uh, uh…….”
I was so embarrassed that I nodded in a daze, and he buried his face in her neck. Just as she was about to bump her lips again, he pressed his lips to her ear.
“Can I kiss you on the neck? I’d like to.”
“Ugh, ugh! Ugh!”
Fidelis, shy and somehow too embarrassed, covered her face with her hands and screamed. His anger at the demon had long since faded from Hakan’s reckless actions.
Beth, who had been watching from behind, was stunned by Hakan’s sudden action, and then clicked her tongue in disbelief.
I didn’t seem to care. In a desperate place where they could not see an inch ahead, they were taking pictures of their youth. Beth furrowed her eyebrows in displeasure.
“What are you doing?”
But this was an opportunity. I could see the slightest crack in my eyes. Beth walked immaculately fast and moved closer to them.
Beth had only one person in sight.
* * *
“Ha, damn it.”
Clack, clack.
Asin looked at the doll in front of him, unable to hold his neck properly, and washed his face dryly. I felt like I was going to lose my mind because of the ghosts I didn’t know how many times it had already been. I didn’t see a single person, and I didn’t see anyone, so I didn’t meet anyone.
Adjusting his eyebrows, Astin muttered irritably.
“Where the hell are you?”
[Me. Help. Give me.]
The doll spoke to him, his jaw moving constantly, but Asin strode over and stomped on the doll in one fell swoop.
“I can’t see it, I can only see the grub.”
The doll collapsed and disappeared into ashes. Asin grabbed his hips and let out a deep sigh before walking back down the seemingly endless hallway. A little faster this time.
In fact, Astin didn’t even want to come here. However, when he heard that Isota was going in, and that Shion was going in after her, he hurried to come in and help.
It’s already a broken engagement, and I know he hates me like crazy, but I couldn’t let him stick with him.
Astin gnashed his teeth at the thought of Isota and Shion together, not worrying about his sister Beth’s well-being.
The stupid-looking Shion constantly haunted Isota’s side. Before Asin and Isota broke off their marriage, Shion didn’t appear by her side as much as possible. He hid for fear of causing trouble to Isota with a scandal.
She liked it a lot, but because of a momentary mistake, Isota broke off her marriage with him without hesitation.
“He groped me on the thigh.”
He spat and didn’t stop.
When I think back to that time, I still feel a fire. Today, she was just trying to get a little faster with the pretty Isota, her fiancé and soon-to-be-married woman, but she was disgusted.
Instead, a stroke on the thigh made a man a molester. As a result, Astin’s hands were nearly cut off that day. The scars on his wrists were still clear. If they hadn’t stopped him, his hands would have fallen from his body.
He was almost punished by an angry Isota for molesting him, but he was lucky enough to get away with it because the head of the Swald family told him not to make a big deal out of it.
Isota’s personality meant she would never let it go, but somehow she did.
At the time, Isota was desperate to find Fidelis and was plotting behind the scenes to devour the Swards.
She acted as the eldest daughter who listened as much as she could so as not to offend her for anything. Even when her father pushed for her engagement to the Delphines, she listened quietly.
Asin liked Isota’s unconditional obedience to his father. Thanks to that, no matter what Astins did to Isota, it didn’t make a big deal out of it. However, it was true that the incident had led to the breakup of the marriage, which made Asin uncomfortable. But it was an engagement that could be done again at any time. Asin didn’t give up on her.
Thinking that I was going to get her by my side somehow, I was turning a corner and bumping into someone.
Plop.
Alvin, the boy who bumped into Astin and looked up, a slap in the face. When Alvin realized that it was Astin who had hit him, he hurriedly got up from his seat and ran to the other side to avoid him.
“Hey! Why don’t you come?”
“Would you go?”
“Ha, you? You still haven’t changed that habit?”
“I don’t respect a filthy molester!”
“You crazy kid!”
An involuntary chase began to unfold in the long, wide, dark hallway. Seeing Asin still chasing him, Alvin cursed wildly. He was a criminal, too. It was one thing to never be ashamed of what he had done, and it was just one thing to not be able to keep his head up.
I still haven’t been able to give up on Isota, and when I see him crawling all the way here, I’ve said it all. Alvin has been looking for Isota ever since he came here, but he hasn’t been able to find it. To give Isota, his mentor and supporter, whom he would meet later, a note with hints on how to escape.
But the person I met in this big place was none other than Asten.
‘I’m unlucky.’
Alvin spat on the back of the break.
“Hey! Are you sure you’re going to dig in?”
“Kill me! This time, it’s not my wrists, it’s my neck!”
Alvin’s sneering and sarcasm made Astin feel his stomach bubbling. Even though they had been running around the mansion for quite some time, they didn’t stop.
Eventually, Alvin’s legs began to slow down. Alvin was eventually captured by Asten, who had trained himself with a sword.
“I finally got it.”
“Oh, you’re so persistent.”
Alvin grumbled, his back gripped. Alvin was young but very good, so Asin didn’t think he needed to go to the trouble of killing him.
The reason I wanted to catch him in the first place was because I thought it would be easier for him to get close to Isota if he was with Alvin.
Although it took quite a while to catch it.
Alvin, who had been plumped on the floor, gasping for breath, was getting better. It was thanks to the medicine that Hakan distributed to everyone.
Suddenly draining your stamina like this would naturally make you tired, but the medicine would bring you back to your normal condition. Of course, it didn’t heal the wounds I had wound.
Alvin caught his breath and jumped to his feet. I was a little thinking about what to do with Asten’s hand, which was still gripping me firmly on the back of my head, when I heard Asten’s voice in annoyance.
“Stop running. Am I going to kill you?”
“I don’t want to be with criminals.”
“Hey! Do you still drive people with one touch on your thigh?”
“Tsk.”
It didn’t work. A hundred days of explanation didn’t make sense, so Alvin looked at him in disgust and clicked his tongue.
“If Master had cut off my wrist at that time, I wouldn’t have been caught like this.”
Alvin closed his lips in regret. Under the scornful gaze, Asin was overcome with the urge to gouge out Alvin’s eyes. I don’t know why it’s so unusual.
“Aren’t you looking for Isota anyway?”
“No, I don’t.”
Alvin didn’t feel the need to tell him, so he replied bitterly. Pressing his temples together as if to suppress his anger, Asin let out a long breath.
“Why are you so crooked?”
“I don’t know why you’re so confident.”
“Is there any reason for me to cringe?”
It was shameless and shameless.
Asin and Alvin began searching the mansion for Isota. Alvin, who was being dragged around by the back of his head, kept his mouth shut to avoid talking to him as much as possible.
Even if the ghost came out, he didn’t even think about killing it, so Asin had to take care of everything himself.
“Don’t you use your strength?”
“Humph!”
Alvin jerked his head. Gritting his teeth, Astin was running out of patience.
“Uh, uh, what ……. do?”
The faint sound of a cry stopped them. As I listened, I saw that the cry was coming from exactly one direction, this time.
