- I Already Know My Magic Power Is Ridiculously High! Now I Just Need a Cute Wife...
- Episode 78 - Luna's Plan (Part 1)
My beautiful world exists only in the past.
My strict grandmother, my perfect aunt, and my admirable cousin—all of them are gone.
Unlike these three, I was not born with any special power, nor was I destined to become queen from birth.
I was just an ordinary princess who loved reading books.
—
Yet, for some reason, fate decided to test me.
One day, I became the Crown Princess and was resented by my brothers.
One day, I could no longer pursue love.
One day, I realized that I had to become queen.
My beautiful world was shattered, never to be restored.
Even so, if there is something I can do for this beloved kingdom, it would be…
—
Valeria Mausoleum.
Located across a stone bridge from Goldasht Castle, this mausoleum was built during the height of the Naia Kingdom’s golden age, sparing no expense.
In one word, it is magnificent, designed in the architectural style of an ancient superpower that existed over a thousand years ago.
In this solemn and grand space stood a beautiful blonde girl with a sorrowful expression.
“Aunt Martina, Sister Luna… I have finally made it here. This is only a passing milestone, but I will surely fulfill your wishes…”
Before a massive stone monument, the girl placed a few yellow and orange flowers and spoke her heartfelt thoughts with a determined expression.
This place was special to her, a place where she could remember the happy days of the past.
Picking Freesia Gold flowers in the backyard and offering them to her ancestors at the mausoleum had always been part of her daily routine.
“So, this is where you were, Luna.”
A young man with golden hair called out to the girl from behind.
Luna von Naia, First Princess of the Naia Kingdom.
Her silky, golden hair, cut neatly to her shoulders, shimmered like threads of spun gold. A black headband resembling rabbit ears adorned her head.
Between her white knee-high socks and skirt, a glimpse of her maturing figure could be seen.
Luna immediately recognized the gentle voice.
“Brother Nicholas.”
Nicholas, her greatest supporter and fourth brother.
Luna’s expression softened slightly upon seeing one of the few people she could trust.
“It’s almost time. Are you ready?”
“Yes. I have prepared everything for today. There will be no mistakes.”
Luna and Nicholas were dressed in the official ceremonial attire of the Nia royal family.
The female ceremonial outfit of the Naia Kingdom consisted of a red mini-skirt with a ribbon and a top with wide sleeves resembling a shrine maiden’s robes.
For a fourteen-year-old, her figure was already quite prominent.
Today marked the beginning of a project Luna had been working on at full speed—
the first phase of a major undertaking scheduled for the coming weeks.
She had no choice but to be fully determined.
“Then, let us go.”
After bowing toward the stone monument, Luna left the mausoleum.
Accompanied by their attendants, the two walked through the castle corridors.
Ahead of them, another group, also dressed in royal attire, approached.
“Luna.”
“I know.”
Luna and Nicholas stiffened with tension.
Their destination was the same—the audience chamber.
Both groups stopped before the grand doors.
Standing in front of Luna were three Star-ranked individuals.
“Oh? If it isn’t the barren woman.”
“…Brother Albert, Brother Pasquale, it has been a while.”
Among them, the First Prince Albert sneered at Luna with disdain.
His large frame and imposing presence exuded intimidation.
The Third Prince Pasquale, of average build, also smirked with contempt.
“I hear you’ve been chosen as the envoy for the ceasefire negotiations with Ortenos.”
“Yes, I have been honored with this duty.”
“Mother must be desperate to grant even a barren woman an achievement. A ceasefire is impossible, yet she clings to such foolish hope.”
“No, I believe it can be achieved. Mother entrusted me with this mission because she believes in me.”
Albert sighed, placing a hand on Luna’s shoulder.
Luna flinched and trembled slightly.
Seeing her reaction, Albert grinned wickedly.
“What’s wrong, Luna? Are you shaking?”
“…No.”
“You must be relieved that Barbato is dead.”
“…! I would never think such a thing.”
Luna hesitated in her response.
She never once thought it was good news. The death of a prince was a disaster for Naia.
Yet, deep inside, she had felt some relief.
“Ah, so that’s why you’re siding with Ortenos? You’re grateful they got rid of someone you despised?”
“…No. I simply want to normalize relations with Ortenos. Fortunately, they are open to peace talks. We cannot afford to waste this opportunity.”
Despite Albert’s provocation, Luna stood her ground.
She understood the historical circumstances that led to Nia becoming a kingdom, and she acknowledged that Naia bore some responsibility.
For Luna’s plan to succeed, improving relations with Ortenos was essential.
Shalka responding to her letters had been a stroke of luck.
“You truly understand nothing. Ortenos seeks only to destroy Naia. Whatever you do is futile.”
“That’s not true! Nia and Ortenos were once one nation. If we talk, we can—”
“Know your place!”
“Ah!”
Albert’s angry shout made Luna shrink in fear.
To her, noblemen were terrifying figures.
The memories of the violence she suffered from her second brother, Barbato, overlapped with Albert’s presence.
“You are unfit to be queen! A woman with a fatal defect who cannot bear children will only bring ruin to this kingdom! Die in battle or take your own life!”
Albert pressed his face close to Luna’s, shouting furiously.
Luna was too frightened to respond.
Nicholas rushed to her side.
“Please stop, Brother Albert! This is enough!”
“Nicholas, you should side with Brother Albert. If you continue to support Luna, you won’t escape unscathed either.”
The Third Prince Pasquale cut in before Nicholas could say more.
“No matter what anyone says, I will support Luna. She is my everything.”
“Tch… You’re insane.”
Pasquale scowled at Nicholas, who was utterly devoted to Luna.
He knew Nicholas was just as unhinged as their late brother Barbato, but in a different way.
“What’s the matter, Luna? Can’t say anything?”
“Even so… Even so, I will become queen! I believe that is the only way to restore Nia!”
“…! You little…!”
For a moment, Albert faltered at Luna’s resolute gaze.
Her jade-green eyes, like glass beads, were fixed on him—but also on the unseen enemy lurking within.
She believed that Nia’s decline was not mere coincidence, but the result of someone’s malice.
“Restoring Nia, is it? You make it sound as if Nia’s current state is abnormal.”
A third man stepped forward from behind Albert.
His sharp, glaring eyes locked onto Luna.
“…Serpens.”
