I Am The Third Party (GL) - Chapter 19
A few days later, maybe a week, the Wangzi that Qi Xi had mentioned showed up at our house.
When he arrived, I was sitting on the living room bay window, playing Hay Day on my phone. The boats at the dock were always running low on cargo, and out of boredom, I built a stone wall to block the frogs’ path. I dug up several puddles with a shovel to force them out, creating a large enclosure.
I’d heard you could plant raspberries to attract foxes, but I planted tons of them, but few foxes came.
Qi Xi would often come over to watch me play games, laughing at my childishness and showing her disdain.
But a few times, she’d see a fox approaching and hurriedly ordered me to buy a fence to contain it. I couldn’t build the fence fast enough to keep the foxes away, and no matter how hard I tried, I couldn’t keep them in.
Wangzi was a young man in his early twenties, with a buzz cut, a denim jacket, and sweatpants.
I opened the door for him. He was stunned when he saw me standing at the door, but then he showed a look of understanding. He just used his hand to pull me away as if I didn’t exist, and strode into the house. Seeing Qi Xi lying on the sofa watching TV, he stood up and nodded to her, calling her “Young Master”.
I puffed out my cheeks and rolled my eyes at Wang Zi’s back. He didn’t think I was a prostitute.
“Did you find out?” Qi Xi asked.
Wang Zi didn’t say anything, but glanced at me who was sitting back at the bay window working hard on the goods at the dock.
Qi Xi understood, “It’s okay, tell me.”
Wang Zi was obviously surprised, and couldn’t help but look at me again, “Young Master, she is…”
I chuckled. I am your Young Master’s nanny, kid.
“My friend.” Qi Xi said.
“Oh, oh. I thought it was that thing, sister, I’m so sorry for what happened just now.” Wang Zi scratched his head apologetically and apologized to me.
I waved my hand magnanimously, “It’s okay, you guys talk about things. I’m very focused and can’t hear anything while playing games.”
Ah Xiang then turned around and said to Qi Xi, “Young Master, here are all the relevant information. This identity is real. She is from K City, S Province, China. She graduated from xx School and then did some small business locally. Half a year ago…”
When he said the three words half a year ago, Wang Zi’s voice became smaller and smaller, “She just came to City A for no special reason.”
Qi Xi looked at the two pages of paper in his hand, his eyes narrowed and long, and suddenly he snorted coldly, raised his wrist and threw the paper on the coffee table, “The identity can be real, and the person can be fake.” “
Young Master, this person’s appearance is a bit abrupt, and the time of her appearance is very sensitive, but we have checked and there is indeed nothing wrong with her. Are you worrying too much?”
“There is always inconsistency, not overthinking.” Qi Xi murmured, “Wang Zi, tell Ah Xiang to keep an eye on her.”
“Okay, I know. Also, young master, Axiang said that Wei Lao San laundered a large sum of money in recent days. After checking, it turned out that it was given to Fatty Huang. Recently, the money shop and Xingfu have been getting closer and closer. I’m afraid that Yi Lu wants to join forces with Chu He.”
“Tsk.” Qi Xi held his chin and sneered, “The third coward Wei Lao San has learned his lesson this time. He didn’t choose that loser Qi He, but went to Fatty Huang.”
“Young master, it must be Fatty Huang who colluded with the guy on Chenghuang Shen Street. On the day of the incident, Gou Er happened to be hanging out in the villa in the western suburbs. He said that he saw Fatty Huang leading several doctors into the master’s house with his own eyes…”
“I know.” Qi Xi interrupted him, “Don’t worry these days, let me think about it. I never cared about that damn throne in the central government. They abolished it, but they still kept biting me.”
I was stunned when I heard it, and turned my head to look.
Wang Zi is not tall, and is half a head shorter than Qi Xi when standing in front of him. He raised his head when he heard Qi Xi say this, his two dark eyes flashing faintly as he looked at Qi Xi, “Young Master, no matter what, we will follow you.”
Qi Xi smiled and patted his shoulder, “Okay.”
Before Wang Zi left, she instructed again, “Keep an eye on Xiao Xuewu.”
“Remember, Young Master, don’t worry.”
Qi Xi turned around and bumped into me.
I was staggered by her bump, and she quickly supported me and closed the door. “Come in, what are you following to see?”
I rolled my eyes and rolled around holding the cushion twice, but I couldn’t help but feel itchy, so I jumped up and pounced on Qi Xi. “Uncle Qi Xi, why do Wang Zi and Yan Sinan both call you Young Master? And your old lover Wei Ling also called you Young Master of the Qi Family. Are you so awesome?”
Qi Xi squeezed my hand, rolled the pillow behind me into my arms, and then rolled me into her arms like a pillow. She sighed, and one hand began to torment my hair, moving it back and forth like kneading dough, and said slowly, “Little fairy, do you know Qi International?”
Qi International?
Hmm, it sounds familiar… …
I looked up, “The one on Chenghuangshen Street?”
“Yes, now the largest shareholder of Qi is my eldest brother Qi Xian. And half a year ago, the largest shareholder of Qi was me.”
