Before the night began, I went to see Lady Luciana.  

When I knocked on the door, Lady Luciana’s voice responded.  

“Who is it?”  

“…It’s Rondo. I wanted to talk with you for a moment.”  

“I see. Come in.”  

After receiving her permission, I opened the door and entered the room.  

Lady Luciana was reading a book. Elena, who was in charge for today, was also present in the room.  

Lady Luciana shifted her gaze toward me and tilted her head.  

“What is it, Rondo?”  

The reason I came here was to let her know that, since I planned to train in swordsmanship with Karin’s help in my dreams tonight, I wouldn’t be able to attend to Lady Luciana.

When the door opened, there stood Karin in her nightwear. She was holding a maid uniform in her hand.

Trusting Karin, I reluctantly took the outfit and decided to follow her lead.  

After changing into the maid uniform—though with some hesitation—I stood before her.

Karin smiled with satisfaction as she led me to the bed by the hand.  

As we lay down, she lightly touched my body, and… suddenly, my consciousness began to fade.

After a short while, I opened my eyes and found myself in a dark world.  

“Is this… inside the dream?”  

As soon as I muttered that, a familiar garden spread out before my eyes.  

“Sorry to keep you waiting, Rondo-kun.”  

When I turned at the sound of her voice, there was Karin, standing with a bright smile.  

However, the moment she saw me, her smile turned mischievous.  

“This is a dream, right?”

Karin waved and moved to a spot farther away, creating a chair and sitting down.

I readied my sword and faced Klaus-san. Even though it’s a dream, his intimidating presence was just as strong.  

The moment I raised my sword, Klaus-san immediately moved.  

I blocked his swinging sword and launched a counterattack. But he dodged.  

As we clashed over and over, I realized something.  

Unlike in reality, I didn’t feel any fatigue. This means I can repeat techniques as many times as I need to.  

I might have just found the perfect training ground.
