It’s like the difference in energy when a person starts running from a standstill versus already walking.

“I get the theory… but does that mean constantly channeling magic around yourself? Wouldn’t it end up draining your magic power?”

“If you lose focus even a little, the magic power will leak out. That would be wasteful. The key is to keep it circulating only within your body.”

It makes sense. When using a skill, you first need to gather magic within your body, then convert it into the skill. Since gathering magic takes energy, maintaining a base level of magic would be more efficient for using skills consecutively.

“So, does that mean the skill activation speed will also increase?”
