The reason this skill’s level is so high is probably because I’ve been pampering Luciana-sama a lot.

…If I remember correctly, skills level up more quickly when used in challenging situations.

Perhaps because the person I’m pampering is royalty, I get good experience points? Or something like that?

“…No, I’ve never heard of it. I’ve heard that skills can vary greatly. And that even if two people have the same effect, the skill name can be different.”

So even Luciana-sama doesn’t know.  

Since I don’t know the exact effect of this skill, I’d like to figure it out.

I mean, it must have some kind of effect.

“Luciana-sama, do you feel anything different when I pamper you?”

At that moment, Luciana-sama looked up as if she had realized something. She stared off into space, then spoke as if she had come to a conclusion.

“…Huh? By how much?”

“I don’t know the exact amount. But in the list of status buffs, there’s one labeled [Pampering↑]. It’s likely a buff-type skill that enhances certain stats.”

“A skill that strengthens allies?”

“I’m not sure. Why don’t you try using it on yourself and see?”

Just like Luciana-sama had done earlier, I checked my status screen.

In that case, I’ll choose one of the strongest jobs in the game, the [Enchanter] .

“I’ll go with the [Enchanter].”

An [Enchanter]—a powerful but tricky job in the game. It allows you to enchant equipment with words, enhancing them. However, the rules for what words can be used are complex. And the combination of hiragana, kanji, and katakana can make a huge difference.

“An [Enchanter], huh… I’ve heard it’s not a particularly strong job.”

“Really?”

“Yeah. There aren’t many who use it, and it’s considered a difficult job to master.”

…In the game, the [Enchanter] was introduced in an update. So there weren’t any NPCs that used it.  

That might explain why it’s seen as a difficult job in this world.

“Even so, I’d like to give it a try.”

“Sure, feel free. But I have one request as well.”

“What is it?”

Lady Luciana suddenly pulled something out.  

It was……a baby bottle.

“Can you feed me with this? Daa-bu!”

“Uh, using a baby bottle is a bit…”

“Daa! Baa-bu!”

“……Are you serious?”

“I am. Hurry up.”

Lady Luciana’s eyes suddenly became sharp as she handed me the bottle.

…I let out a sigh, careful not to show it, and took the bottle. I brought it closer to Luciana-sama’s mouth.

“Baa-bu!”

Luciana-sama happily started sucking on the bottle.

“…Hmm. It’s a bit hard to drink.”

“Please don’t analyze it so calmly.”

“Daa!”

That night’s experience… might’ve made me stronger.  

My [Pampering] skill leveled up to 4.
