Chapter 20: It’s Fine, I Can Manage
Su Shixiao thought he hadn’t heard clearly and repeated, “Your dad came to the company.”
After a few seconds, Nan Yanzhou didn’t dwell on his father’s visit. He just pulled Su Shixiao to look him over and asked, “Are you hurt anywhere else? If so, I’ll go buy you some medicine.”
Su Shixiao had been shielded behind him the whole time and wasn’t badly hurt. He shook his head, “No, but you have quite a few injuries.”
“It’s fine. Let’s go back then. If we don’t, I’m afraid my dad will throw me into the company abroad,” Nan Yanzhou completely dismissed his injuries.
Su Shixiao withdrew his wrist from Nan Yanzhou’s palm, “Mhm, let’s go.”
Nan Yanzhou: “Take my car. I’ll have someone drive your car back tomorrow.”
Sitting in the passenger seat, Su Shixiao watched the injuries on Nan Yanzhou’s arm and face slowly start to bruise. He frowned unconsciously, raised his hand intending to touch the wound, but then quietly lowered it.
He looked out the car window, spotted a pharmacy, and told Nan Yanzhou, “Brother Yanzhou, stop the car here first.”
“What’s wrong?” Nan Yanzhou quickly looked for a place to park.
Su Shixiao didn’t answer him, but instead said, “Wait for me here for a moment.”
As soon as he finished speaking, he ran out. Nan Yanzhou watched his retreating figure with some confusion.
Seven or eight minutes later, Su Shixiao got back in the car holding a bag of medicine. Only then did Nan Yanzhou see the bag in his hand. He frowned and asked, “Why did you go buy medicine? Didn’t you say you weren’t hurt?”
Su Shixiao didn’t answer right away. Instead, he opened the medicine, pulled Nan Yanzhou’s arm over, and started applying the ointment while saying, “I bought it for you.”
Nan Yanzhou was stunned. He hadn’t expected the medicine was for him. Watching Su Shixiao seriously applying the ointment, he was involuntarily drawn to him. When the two returned to the company’s CEO’s office, they saw Nan Fengge sitting on the sofa with a dark expression.
Su Shixiao spoke first, “Uncle Nan, I’ve brought CEO Nan back. I’ll head out now so you two can talk.”
Nan Fengge’s expression softened when he saw Su Shixiao. He smiled at him, “Xiao Xiao, what are you doing here?”

He then glared at Nan Yanzhou.
