I Fell In Love With My Friend's Younger Brother Who Has A Low Sense Of Presence. - Chapter 36

Chapter 36: Drunk
“Xiaoxiao, here.” Wang Xiaohui saw Su Shixiao waving at him, indicating their presence.
Su Shixiao saw him and walked straight towards them, saying, “Give me a glass.”
Wang Xiaohui, bewildered, handed him the clean glass and watched him fill it with wine and drink it straight away.
The others were shocked when they saw this, and even more surprised. Su Shixiao didn’t usually drink much, so why was he acting so strangely today?
Yang Qi, sitting next to He Junsui, whispered, “Xiaoxiao, what’s wrong?”
He Junsui also found it strange to see Su Shixiao drinking one glass after another. He shook his head, “I don’t know, maybe he’s in a bad mood.”
Before he could finish his words, he saw Su Shixiao pouring more wine. He quickly grabbed the bottle. Su Shixiao looked up at him, “What’s wrong?”
“Xiaoxiao, you’re acting strangely. What’s going on?”
“What’s wrong? I just want to drink.” Su Shixiao continued pouring wine, picked up the glass, and drank.
He Junsui, of course, didn’t believe his nonsense. “You said that yourself, do you believe it?”
“Don’t worry about me. I’ll be fine tomorrow after I finish drinking today,” Su Shixiao said.
“Yeah.” He Junsui didn’t try to stop him. He clinked glasses with him and took a sip. “Drink. I’ll take you home when you’re drunk.”
“Yeah, thanks.”
The others saw that this was his first time drinking like this, so they joined him. After all, such opportunities didn’t come around often.
“Where’s my phone?” Su Shixiao was drunk, his face flushed, and his consciousness beginning to blur. “Where’s my phone?”
The person next to him quickly handed him his phone. “Here.”
“Oh.” Su Shixiao held the phone in his arms, looking down at it for a moment.
When He Junsui returned from the restroom, he found him lying on the sofa, his face red and dazed, fiddling with his phone. He leaned over to see that he was actually making a voice call to Nan Yanzhou. He was startled, “Xiaoxiao, do you know who you’re calling right now?”
“Nan Yanzhou,” Su Shixiao gave him an idiotic look.
He Junsui was speechless. He hadn’t expected his brother to behave like this when drunk.
“Hello.”
Su Shixiao felt aggrieved at the sound of Nan Yanzhou’s voice, his voice soft, “Brother Yanzhou, where are you? I really miss you.”
Everyone present was in disbelief at Su Shixiao’s first time hearing him speak like that. He Junsui even got goosebumps. “Xiaoxiao is quite capable when he’s drunk.”
Nan Yanzhou was shocked at first, then fell silent. Seeing him ignore her, Su Shixiao felt even more aggrieved, her tone revealing a hint of disappointment. “Even Brother Yanzhou ignored me. I’m really upset today, and you ignoring me is even more upsetting.”
Nan Yanzhou asked, “Are you drunk?”
“Yeah, I drank a lot today,” Su Shixiao continued. “Nan Yanzhou, I want to go home. Come pick me up! There are so many people here, it’s so noisy.”
Nan Yanzhou, feeling a little worried, spoke more seriously. “Okay, just stay where you are. Where are you now? I’ll pick you up.”
“Yes, yes…” Su Shixiao hung his head, thinking for a long time. “I can’t remember.”
He Junsui reluctantly took his phone. “Mr. Nan, sorry to bother you. Don’t worry. I’ll take Xiaoxiao home right now.”
Nan Yanzhou: “No, just send me the address and I’ll pick him up.”
He glanced at Su Shixiao, who was sprawled on the sofa, and finally sent him the address, knowing that Su Shixiao would look for Nan Yanzhou when drunk, so he must be quite dependent on him.
Su Shixiao clung to his phone, squinting as he waited for Nan Yanzhou to pick him up.
Su Shizhi ultimately didn’t board the plane. He told his parents to go first while he went home to see them and bring Su Shixiao with him the next day. Unexpectedly, when he got home, Su Shixiao wasn’t even there, and he didn’t even answer his calls.
He had no idea which friend Xiaoxiao had been hanging out with. He didn’t know any of Xiaoxiao’s friends in the first place, so he didn’t know who to ask, so he just sat in the living room and waited.
Su Shixiao saw Nan Yanzhou appear at the bar, genuinely there to pick him up. His eyes lit up, and he staggered toward him. Wang Xiaohui heard him and followed him worriedly, “Xiaoxiao, don’t worry. Be careful.”
“Nan Yanzhou.” Su Shixiao grabbed Nan Yanzhou’s hand, smiling brightly. He looked up at him with bright eyes, his usual cold voice replaced by a soft voice.
Nan Yanzhou looked down at him, his heart beating a little faster. He reached out and took Su Shixiao. “Okay.”
The young man following behind Su Shixiao said, “I’ll take him back first.”
“Okay.”
Su Shixiao obediently let him lead the way, his eyes fixed on his back. After leaving the bar, Nan Yanzhou looked back at him and helped him smooth out his messy hair. “Why did you drink so much?”
It was the first time he’d seen Su Shixiao drunk. He looked so well-behaved and adorable. Seeing his eyes fixed on him, he couldn’t help but pat his head.
Su Shixiao: “I want to drink.”
Nan Yanzhou helped him fasten his seatbelt. Su Shixiao suddenly said, “They all went on a trip to Qigebo Bay in Country E, but I didn’t know. They all ignored me.”
“You’ve been ignored since childhood, so why am I still so upset?”
He looked up at him and asked.
Nan Yanzhou looked at his sad eyes and held his hand with a heartache. Having never comforted anyone before, he didn’t know how to comfort him. “Wherever you want to travel, I’ll go with you.”
Su Shixiao smiled. “Okay.”
When they arrived at their destination, Su Shixiao’s head felt less dizzy, and consciousness slowly returned. He got out of the car, his hair ruffled by the wind. He looked around and asked, “Isn’t this my home?”
“Yes,” Nan Yanzhou said, pulling out the car keys. “This is my home.”
He looked at Nan Yanzhou as he walked toward him. “Why don’t you just take me home?”
“You’ve been in the car for an hour, and you’re sober now?” Nan Yanzhou swiped his card at the community gate, opened it, and then pulled him over. “Doesn’t your head hurt?”
“No.” Su Shixiao rubbed his temples. “Still feeling a little dizzy and groggy.”
“Let’s go.” He pressed the elevator button. “Let’s go upstairs and have some hangover soup. I asked Auntie to make it when I picked you up.”
Su Shixiao leaned against the wall. “Okay.”
Entering the room, Nan Yanzhou brought out the hangover soup and placed it in front of him. “I want to drink it.”
He raised his chin to look at Nan Yanzhou. “Yes, thank you.”
After drinking it, Su Shixiao said, “Thank you for picking me up today.”
“You’re welcome. After you drink it, go take a shower.”
“Yes.”
Su Shixiao arrived at the guest room. Before he went to shower, he noticed that Su Shi had called him. He didn’t answer and just watched the phone quietly as it hung up. He didn’t want to answer their calls right now. He’d talk about it tomorrow.
He went into the bathroom with pajamas, which he wasn’t sure if Nan Yanzhou or Auntie had prepared.
After showering, I saw my phone was running low. I left the room and went to find Nan Yanzhou, knocking a few times. “Brother Yanzhou, I’d like to borrow your data cable.”
“Wait a moment.”
As Nan Yanzhou opened the door, he saw Su Shixiao without his glasses. He was tinged with pink, and his throat felt slightly dry.
Su Shixiao, fresh from his shower, was so pale that his complexion was faintly pink.
