I Have been Reincarnated As a Lazy, Arrogant Noble, but When I Destroyed The Scenario Through Effort, I Became The Most Powerful With Extraordinary Magical Power - 2
002 – Everything Starts with Form
In anything, it’s best to start with the basics.
I had a headband of effort wrapped around my head.
By the way, Lillith made it for me. She asked, “What does it say?” But when I told her it meant I’ll give my all until I die, she just laughed.
Since people have been saying, “Weiss, you’ve changed,” I suppose I must be heading in the right direction.
“Weiss, are you really putting in the effort?”
“Y-Yes, I am!”
I did make use of my noble connections just a bit.
In fact, I asked Milch Abista, a former S-class adventurer known as the strongest in the Fansent territory, to be my teacher.
With her blazing red hair and a well-endowed figure, she’s quite the bombshell, but she’s also very strict and intimidating.
She only appears in the later stages of the game, so it’s quite a bonus to have her around now.
While Noblesse Oblige primarily revolves around the academy, it also has many ties to the outside world.
To be ready for the entrance exam and whatever challenges come my way, I need to prioritize learning swordsmanship and magic.
For that, I first needed to improve my basic physical strength.
Even in my previous world, I never really engaged in physical training.
Naturally, Weiss also seems to have been quite inactive, so it’s quite tiring.
“Haa, haa… I can’t move anymore…”
“It’s fine to rest. But remember, if you lose right after entering the academy… they’ll label you a loser.”
Since she agreed to be my teacher, she’s been pushing me relentlessly, disregarding the fact that I’m a noble.
Milch Sensei is responding to that. Although, I can’t help but feel she might be going a bit overboard…
“Y-Yes, understood.”
“Bend your knees, raise your wrists, assume the stance!”
“Yes!”
From morning till night, I practiced the stances repeatedly.
Once that was done, I ran and engaged in strength training to enhance my basic physical abilities.
At first, I had expected training to be somewhat enjoyable, but the reality was far from pleasant.
“Lord Weiss, allow me to wipe away your sweat.”
“…Thank you.”
Seeing me in this state, Lillith is always right there by my side, offering her unwavering support.
It’s incredibly reassuring, although I don’t recall such scenes in the original storyline.
While that’s slightly concerning, her presence remains a source of strength.
And then…
“Young Master, I have prepared a meal rich in the proteins you requested.”
“Thank you, Zebis.”
Zebis, our butler, takes care of meals and provides various forms of support.
I believe he was originally a skilled knight, and he’s been attending to my needs ever since my father hired him.
By the way, this is something that transpires later on, but Zebis had developed a strong aversion to my wrongdoings.
In the end, he joined forces with the hero and played a role in pushing the Fansent family to the brink of destruction.
Of course, it’s Weiss’s own doing, but I’d like to maintain good relations with him to prevent any potential betrayal.
“Even though you’re always so busy, I apologize.”
“…Young Master, you’ve certainly undergone quite a transformation.”
While Lillith may not trust me to the same extent, Zebis’s heart-melting expression with his bearded face carries a tremendous impact.
And, making use of knowledge from my previous life, I’ve been selecting ingredients rich in protein.
I’m well aware of the importance of a proper diet.
This choice is undoubtedly reflected in my status.
Name: Weiss Fansent
Race: Human, Male
Age: 15
Occupation: Noble
Level: 2
Stamina: 60
Magic Power: 20
Unique Skills: Restriction Play Lv1, Heal Light (Small) Lv1

My stamina has significantly increased. However, my magical prowess hasn’t seen as much improvement due to my ongoing training.
Though I’m unsure about the significance of the “Butler-like” title…

Several weeks later, as my body had finally acclimated, I decided it was time to summon the magic instructor.
Just that I’ve been getting tired of the Spartan approach, and I wanted someone kind yet strong. I asked Zebis to find someone like that, but for some reason, it turned out to be Milch Abista, our teacher.
“Good morning, Weiss.”
“Um, Sensei… Today, I called for a magic instructor.”
“I know. I can use magic too.”
With that, she conjured flames in one hand and water in the other.
Two of the four major elemental magics. Usually, one can only use a single attribute, but she has two.
I knew that, but I was hoping for a gentler teacher.
Zebis, why didn’t you understand?! Isn’t this what you’d call spousal support?!
“Um, will you teach magic gently?”
“Yeah, I suppose you’d want it gentle. Leave it to me; I’m a pro.”
Thank goodness! As expected of a teacher! This kind of scenario exists too!

“Increase the flow of magic. Open your eyes. Don’t fall asleep!”
“Y-Yes!”
What a cliché.
Reality isn’t kind. In fact, it’s even tougher than when training with the sword.
“All right, keep it up for two hours straight.”
“Yes…”
I had thought she would teach me magic, but according to Milch Sensei, “The one with more magic power wins.”
But that’s correct, and I already knew that.
Even in the concept, it’s clearly stated that greater magic power makes you stronger.
Even with Fireball at level 1, the size varies greatly based on the amount of magic power.
In the game, it might not be easily noticeable graphically, but Milch Sensei seems to grasp this concept well.
So, I began the daily routine of pushing my magic power to its limits until I fainted.
She probably doesn’t really expect me to go that far, but I might as well push myself to the limit.
“Lord Weiss, please do your best!”
“Yes, thank you.”
Lillith is always by my side. She takes care of her maid duties and even looks after me on her days off.
For her sake, I should do my best… ah…
“Fainted again, even more so than yesterday. Alright, time for your reward.”
As my consciousness fades, Milch Sensei reaches out her hand.
And then, she pats my head while I’m slumped over.
“Good job, good job. You’re working hard.”
…This is what they call a kind… course.
But the fact is, I’m becoming addicted.
The balance between rewards and punishments might be off, but I’ll refrain from dwelling on it.
And so, I continued with sword handling, basic training, and increasing my magic power.
And before I knew it, three months had passed.
