Summary
Synopsis:
No. 1 High School and No. 13 High School merged, forming the largest high school in City A with over 5,000 students.
As the renowned heartthrob of the school, Sheng Yu sighed, realizing she might need another desk—otherwise, there wouldn’t be enough space for all the love letters and gifts from her admirers.
Sure enough, just a few days into the semester, she was relentlessly pursued by a girl she didn’t even know. For an entire week, the girl waited by the school wall to ambush her. Luckily, Sheng Yu was fast and always managed to escape.
But who would’ve thought the girl would go classroom by classroom searching for her?
Cold and aloof in appearance, yet unexpectedly persistent—too bad for her. Sheng Yu had seen enough obsessive admirers to feel nothing but numbness.
“Liking me is pointless,” Sheng Yu tried to dissuade her.
“Sheng Yu—skipping class for a week straight, climbing over walls, and deliberately evading the disciplinary committee.” The girl’s expression remained indifferent as she pulled out a notebook from her pocket and wrote down Sheng Yu’s name.
Before leaving the classroom, she even shot Sheng Yu a disdainful look.
“I don’t like you.”
She emphasized the words “don’t like” with particular weight.
Sheng Yu, at seventeen, had never been so humiliated in her life.
“You’re dead, Song Qing!”
Seventeen-year-old Song Qing responded with a look of utter contempt.
At twenty-seven, Song Qing wrapped her arms around Sheng Yu and murmured, “Yeah, I’m done for—stuck with you for life.”
