Summary
Gu Zhijing was your typical domineering CEO—until she woke up inside a novel.
Unfortunately, it wasn’t just any story. It was an ABO novel. And even worse, the character she ended up in was a no-good, arrogant Alpha scumbag.
In the original plot, this Alpha—also named Gu Zhijing—was obsessed with a beautiful Omega. She tried to force herself on the Omega during her weakest moment. The Omega resisted with everything she had, but the Alpha wouldn’t give up. Out of spite, she snapped a photo and uploaded it online to humiliate the Omega, ruining her love life and career in one blow.
That Omega? She later rose from the ashes like a phoenix, reborn as the most dangerous villain in the entire book. She swore vengeance, and by the final chapter, both the male and female leads were left in tatters because of her.
Her very first act as a villain? Revenge.
The original Gu Zhijing went bankrupt, saddled with debt, and hunted down by creditors. She ended up so destitute she couldn’t even get a hot meal off the streets. She fought stray dogs for scraps—and when she lost, she bit one and tore off a chunk of meat in desperation.
Eventually, she died cold and alone in the street.
Tragic.
Now, Gu Zhijing sat staring at the sleeping woman in her bed, chest aching slightly as she recalled how, just last night, she’d gotten a little carried away biting the back of the woman’s neck—because she’d found it sexy.
Not only had she failed to change the storyline, she’d somehow gone above and beyond all the terrible things the original scumbag Alpha hadn’t even done yet.
She’d marked the Omega. And even worse? She had it on video.
Gu Zhijing’s fingers trembled. How was she supposed to survive this?
As luck would have it, the gorgeous Omega opened her eyes just then. She took one look at the evidence of everything that had happened… and with red-rimmed eyes, teeth clenched in rage, said: “Gu Zhijing, I’m going to kill you.”
“……”
In a bid to survive, Gu Zhijing made a snap decision: ditch the plot. Escape the script.
But fate had other plans.
The villainous Omega went into heat—right next to her. Got sick—and collapsed into her arms. Even when people bullied her, it always seemed to happen right at Gu Zhijing’s front door.
Her CEO instincts couldn’t take it.
So by day, she pretended to be the cold, arrogant Alpha everyone expected. But behind the scenes, she was the first to scoop Ye Chimou into her arms and rush her to the hospital, taking care of her with silent dedication.
And when the villainous Omega was outnumbered and on the verge of being crushed by the main couple, Gu Zhijing was the one who stepped in, slapped one and kicked the other straight into the dirt. “She’s mine. You dare lay a hand on her?”
Even as she patched one hole after another in the collapsing plot, Yao Chimou only seemed to spiral further into darkness.
Gu Zhijing braced herself for bankruptcy. For dying in the street like the original.
But then, the big bad villain herself said— “I want to date you.”
…What kind of next-level torment was this?
Omega’s POV:
Ye Chimou knew the Alpha’s kindness wasn’t real. It came from fear. But it was addicting—because it felt so rare.
Every time she looked up, she’d see that woman pretending to be annoyed but unable to hide the worry in her eyes.
Every time she got hurt, it was that woman who blew on her wounds, muttering complaints while patching her up.
She wanted her.
The possessiveness lying dormant inside her was beginning to stir.
She wanted that woman’s poisonous mouth to whisper only to her—forever. She had to be hers.
