I Marked the Villain After Transmigrating into a Scumbag A - Chapter 9
The humid summer night grew hotter. With the release of Gu Zhijing’s pheromones, the air became even more sultry, a stuffy, restless heat pressing in on them.
The Omega, distrustful, collapsed against the car. Her body, unable to bear the weight, slid down with her dry lips trembling slightly. If Gu Zhijing dared, she would definitely…
Gu Zhijing took a step closer, trying to support her. Gu Zhijing said softly, “Let me see your neck.”
Ye Chimu would never let her. That would likely lead to another marking from Gu Zhijing. An Alpha’s way of dealing with an Omega’s heat cycle was always so direct and crude. “In your dreams.”
“This should help a lot.”
Looking closer, Ye Chimu saw a small patch in Gu Zhijing’s hand. She must have pulled it from her pocket.
Ye Chimu was a little confused. Gu Zhijing placed the suppressor patch on her neck. It was ice-cold and slightly relieved the heat she’d been feeling all night.
“I’ll take you to the hospital,” Gu Zhijing said.
“No hospital,” Ye Chimu refused.
Gu Zhijing couldn’t understand. “Your condition is bad. When you’re sick and uncomfortable, you should go to the hospital.” In the novel, Gu Zhijing had always sympathized with her. Ye Chimu was a vengeful person; she would repay any offense twofold. But when she was hurt or felt bad, she would endure it, even hurting herself to fight the pain, but she would never make a sound.
Ye Chimu glared at her fiercely. “Gu Zhijing, do you have any common sense? I don’t need to go to the hospital for this.”
“Huh?” Gu Zhijing really didn’t know; she had been cooped up at home for a while.
“This is a heat cycle, an Omega’s physiological response. And I’m a celebrity…” Ye Chimu couldn’t decide if Gu Zhijing was stupid or just pretending.
Gu Zhijing understood. “I’ll take you to a hotel. Just bear with it for a little longer.” Gu Zhijing opened the car door. This time, when Ye Chimu refused, Gu Zhijing ignored it and forcefully put her in the car. Although Ye Chimu had tried to contain her pheromones, a trace of the scent still lingered. It was so fragrant.
Gu Zhijing went around to the other side. She reclined the seat so Ye Chimu could lie down, then leaned over to buckle her seatbelt. She could feel the heat radiating from Ye Chimu’s body, and the back of her hand, gripping the seat, was slightly pink.
But it was too late. A rich scent of green apples was pouring out of her neck. Gu Zhijing’s throat went dry. The confined air was thick with pheromones. She closed the car door with difficulty, instinctively inhaling the sweet, fruity scent. It was like a green apple pulled from ice water, with droplets trickling down its skin. It was tempting her to take a bite.
She craved it, a deep desire resonating in her very soul.
Her phone rang many times, all from Gu Shichang. Gu Zhijing turned it off and tossed it aside. She hoped Gu Shichang wasn’t smart enough to find her now.
“Get out. I’ll be fine in a moment,” Ye Chimu said in a hoarse voice.
Her condition was too dangerous. Gu Zhijing couldn’t leave her alone. “I’ll take you to a hotel.”
Ye Chimu didn’t say anything, leaning against the car door.
“What do you want? How can I help you?” Gu Zhijing asked softly, trying not to scare her. But the gentler she was, the more uncomfortable Ye Chimu became. She was an Omega, and Omegas were naturally submissive. If they didn’t submit, Alphas could break them, and they wouldn’t be able to fight back. But… Gu Zhijing was asking her what she wanted. It felt like flirting. What did she want? Her body told her she wanted Gu Zhijing.
“I need your comfort,” Ye Chimu said, gritting her teeth.
“Okay.” Gu Zhijing slowly released her pheromones, adjusting them to a state an Omega would find most comforting. “Don’t be nervous. Take it slow. Are you feeling better?” A faint jasmine scent brushed against the Omega’s body, from her nose to the back of her neck, gently soothing her, and finally reaching her core. She was full.
Gu Zhijing leaned over to grab a wet towel, thinking of wiping Ye Chimu’s face. The Omega, lying on the car seat, her eyelids fluttering, watched her movements. A heat-stricken Omega was especially sensitive.
“Mmm…” More heat radiated from Ye Chimu’s body.
“Don’t be nervous. Take it slow.”
Ye Chimu looked at Gu Zhijing’s shoulder, an uncontrollable urge to touch it rising within her. She knew she shouldn’t, but she desperately needed that comfort. Anger, shame, and desire were all intertwined. Unable to hold back, she reached out and grabbed Gu Zhijing’s shoulder, slowly sitting up. Her knee scraped against the leather seat, making a creaking sound.
Gu Zhijing’s body tensed slightly. She turned her head to look at Ye Chimu. “Hmm?” Gu Zhijing felt Ye Chimu’s fingers grip her shoulder. It was just a small grab, but Gu Zhijing felt a soft tingle. Her body, influenced by desire, felt as though Ye Chimu was a growing vine clinging to her.
Ye Chimu felt a pang of hatred. She shouldn’t be alone with Gu Zhijing. She shouldn’t trust her. Yet, the care Gu Zhijing was showing her… Ye Chimu bit her lip hard, not letting her mind go there.
“I just want to smell your scent.” She added, “I won’t do anything else.”
The words sounded familiar. She remembered Gu Zhijing saying something similar before: “I’m just going to take a bite, I won’t do anything else.” As if to get revenge for Gu Zhijing’s past humiliation, she knelt behind her, her forehead pressed against Gu Zhijing’s neck, inhaling her scent. Gu Zhijing was completely unguarded.
Ye Chimu thought to herself several times, What if I dig my fingers into her scent gland and damage it, so she has an injured scent gland just like me? An Omega injuring an Alpha’s scent gland. The thought alone was exhilarating.
Gu Zhijing felt a slight itch on the back of her neck, as if a finger was scratching her skin, especially when Ye Chimu’s tongue touched it softly. The feeling was so soft that her breathing became rapid. Her throat bobbed.
She could feel her Alpha instincts very clearly. She desperately wanted to pin Ye Chimu down and possess her, to fulfill some dirty purpose, to get this woman pregnant with her child. The woman’s body was a burning hot presence against hers, pressing softly, her arm resting on Gu Zhijing’s waist, weakly brushing against her suit. Her willpower was wavering. Gu Zhijing was so tempted to lunge at her.
She clenched her fingers, staring at the trees swaying in the hot wind outside the window. The temperature inside the car was rising. She rolled all the windows down. If anyone passed by and looked inside, they would see an Omega sprawled on an Alpha’s shoulder, tormenting her.
Finally, the heat on Ye Chimu’s body subsided a lot. She sighed and lay back down, her eyelids drooping. She observed the Alpha: her lips were pressed together, her grip on the steering wheel was tight, her hair was tucked behind her ears, revealing ears that were burning red. Half of her neck was the same color. The neatly pressed black suit was wrinkled, and there was a small wet spot on her shoulder. The top button had been unbuttoned.
The car drove toward the hotel. Gu Zhijing’s face was serious. She drove very fast, and the summer wind rushing in blended their two pheromones: jasmine and apple. They were completely unrelated, yet they blended together perfectly.
Ye Chimu was still holding her phone.
After getting the room key, Gu Zhijing took Ye Chimu to the elevator. Ye Chimu’s steps were unsteady in her high heels. Gu Zhijing simply bent down and carried her in her arms. She carried her to the bed inside and asked, “Do you want to take a bath? Do you need help?”
Ye Chimu didn’t respond. Her body temperature had finally dropped. The moonlight outside was seductive, and the night wasn’t quiet. The cicadas in the trees were noisy. Even with the hotel’s good soundproofing, you could faintly hear the sounds of their chirping.
Gu Zhijing went to the bathroom to deal with her own issues. The usually calm and composed woman had finally let her guard down. She splashed water on her face, and it ran down her hair. Gu Zhijing pulled her shoulder-length hair to the back of her head.
When she read the novel, Gu Zhijing only felt a momentary pang of sympathy. Now, being in this world, she truly understood what unbearable pain felt like. This whole “heat” thing was tough to get through. If she didn’t have such strong willpower, she really would have slept with Ye Chimu.
She realized that marking an Omega brought them so much discomfort. Their bodies became sensitive and constantly craved an Alpha’s comfort. If they didn’t get that comfort, they would act like a dog. No wonder Zhao Kaiyu and the original host had cursed Ye Chimu so much.
Gu Zhijing sighed, wiping the sweat from her forehead again. If you can’t take care of an Omega, blindly marking them, and even using it as a means to brag, makes you an inhumane animal.
Gu Zhijing took off her clothes to shower, turning the water temperature down low. The 178 cm tall female Alpha picked up a towel to temporarily cover her body. Her shoulder-length hair had a slight perm at the ends. Now it was wet and clumped together, and water droplets ran down in streams.
Gu Zhijing came out with the towel on and glanced into the bedroom. Ye Chimu was curled up, her eyes closed. Gu Zhijing thought of going over to help her and tell her to sleep more comfortably. Gu Zhijing lifted the blanket slightly and saw Ye Chimu’s pale thighs. Her black, high-slit dress had slipped up to her waist, revealing black lace underneath. Her eyes were a little moist, and her hair partially obscured her face. She was a fragile beauty.
Gu Zhijing pulled the blanket back over her. She would sleep in the living room.
Ye Chimu wasn’t completely asleep. Her mind was hazy. After a few hours of sleep, the stickiness on her body made her uncomfortable. She waited until the Alpha was quiet before getting up and going to the bathroom. As she passed the living room, she glanced at the person lying on the sofa. Gu Zhijing opened her eyes and quickly woke up. Her mind was foggy. For a moment, she thought she was back in the real world and couldn’t make out Ye Chimu’s face. Her eyes scanned Ye Chimu’s exposed skin and, sensing her getting closer, she said coldly, “I’m warning you, don’t try to get into my bed. I’m not interested in women. Get your clothes on and get out.”
Ye Chimu found her strange. She replied, “What are you dreaming about?”
“Huh?” Gu Zhijing came back to her senses, closing her eyes.
Ye Chimu ignored her and went into the bathroom. She filled the bathtub with water and lay in it, closing her eyes. Her body felt much better, constantly sinking. She felt weightless.
After some time, the door was pushed open. Ye Chimu’s vision was blurry. She tried to sit up, her legs hooked on the side of the tub. Her muscles were toned, and her lines were smooth. She had accidentally stayed in the water for too long and was now dizzy. She lifted her chin, breathing, and her collarbone tightened. She was indeed a little faint.
Just as she lost the strength to hold herself up, Gu Zhijing’s hands reached out and lifted her from the tub. The Alpha’s hands were strong, and a wave of water splashed out as she lifted her. The Omega was soaked, and water flowed down her body’s curves like a waterfall.
Gu Zhijing held the delicate beauty in her arms and walked out of the bathroom. Ye Chimu looked at her profile, her lips pressed together, her heart pounding for no reason.
