I Married the Strongest Magician - Chapter 17
We walked back from the Demon Forest of Lizanne, slaying monsters left and right, all while bickering over every little theory and detail.
Had I ever met a man who could keep up with me in a dungeon—no, even surpass me?
To live alongside someone like him…maybe that wouldn’t be so bad…I found myself thinking that, almost against my will.
Even though I’d been so desperate to get revenge—even willing to trade my life for it…

“Wh-what was that…!? ”
I completely panicked; that was all I could say.
“Nothing much.
Is kissing one’s wife a crime now?
…Well, getting arrested by you doesn’t sound so bad.”
“Th-that kind of line—! ”
“Hm?”
“Do you… say things like that often? To other women…? ”
“You think I’m flirting with you on a whim? ”
A faint chill radiated from him.
He’s mad. Really mad…
“That’s not what I meant—! ”
“Forget it.”
And then, he walked away…
