I Paired Up With a Woman From an Adventurer Matchmaking App, She Had Perfect Compatibility, But the Worst Personality. When Our Erotic Compatibility Exceeded 200%, She Became the Most Obedient Team Member at Night. - Chapter 5
“I see. This thing is certainly amazing. Expensive things have a reason for being expensive.”
Fully equipped with new gear, I was exploring the dungeon alongside Cordelia.
We had arrived at the ‘Death Golem Dungeon’, a high-difficulty dungeon known for its numerous golem inhabitants.
As the name suggests, this dungeon is home to a vast population of golems.
It’s a unique dungeon where a dark mage resides at the deepest depths, commanding the golems. The daily creation of new golems by this mage has established a self-sustaining ecosystem within the dungeon.
The massive clay golems, towering to the ceiling, charge fearlessly toward their targets. Dealing with these creatures in a small party can be quite challenging.
The dungeon itself isn’t particularly spacious, making it difficult for large parties to coordinate effectively.
Due to these challenges, assembling the right team proves tricky. As a result, this hunting ground remains largely unexplored by adventurers, becoming something of a hidden gem.
With few groups actively attempting conquests and the golems being exceptionally strong, the ‘Death Golem Dungeon’—estimated to have 50 floors—has only seen progress through 20 levels so far.
Cordelia and I are currently tackling this dungeon as part of our new equipment’s performance test.
Just now, we reached the 30th floor.
…We’ve set a new dungeon-conquest record during what should have been mere trial runs.
“As usual, tag-team combat with Cordelia is just too good. A golem that charges at us emotionlessly is no match for us.”
“Hmph. This is to be expected when it comes to us.”
Cordelia said without any particular emotion.
“More importantly, Kent…”
“We just set a new dungeon-clearance record, and you’re asking about something else?”
“Our objective was to test your new gear, right? How does it perform?”
Cordelia asks, and I nod in satisfaction.
“Yeah. Not only does it look cool, but it performs exceptionally well. This stuff is amazing.”
The shirt and pants are both breathable, and even in the stuffy dungeon, I hardly felt any discomfort.
The mithril armor is light and doesn’t hinder my movements much.
On the other hand, my defense was equally impressive. Despite the occasional onslaught from the golem, I hadn’t sustained a single scratch.
With Cordelia’s high-quality gear and our synchronized combat rhythm, our movements had become even more refined.
“It looks better and performs dramatically better. This was a great purchase. It’s pricey, but… when weighing it against the dangers of our adventures, this price seems reasonable.”
“You’re so full of yourself, you know that?”
Cordelia and I had just defeated what appeared to be the floor boss of the 30th layer—a massive golem.
While other adventurers were desperately struggling to advance, we’d pushed even deeper into the dungeon without breaking a sweat.
Truly, with Cordelia as my partner, I felt capable of anything.
“Since we’ve reached a good stopping point, why don’t we rest for a bit?”
At the 30th floor, we’ve already surpassed half of the dungeon’s total of 50 floors.
Even with our remaining stamina, we can’t afford to let our guard down.
Normally, no other monsters appear in the grand hall where the floor boss resides.
In other words, having just defeated the boss, this room now serves as a precious safe zone.
It’s the perfect place to take a break.
Cordelia fanned herself with her skirt, its fabric rustling as she murmured softly.
“The Death Golem Dungeon is a bit humid, isn’t it? All that running around has made me warm.”
After all, golems are essentially giant clay figures.
The high humidity probably exists to prevent these clay statues from cracking.
“I’m going to change. Don’t turn around.”
“Okay.”
At Cordelia’s request, I faced away from her.
Soon, I heard the rustling of clothes as she changed.
Shur, shur… The sound of a shirt being removed.
I thought she was just wiping her sweat and changing into a new shirt, but the rustling continued without pause.
Just when I thought it had finally stopped, I heard a strange metallic clanking sound—like metal scraping against metal.
“You can turn around now.”
With Cordelia’s permission, I turned to face her.
“That took quite a while. Were you really that sweaty…?”
The question I’d posed dissolved into thin air in an instant.
Why? Because before me unfolded a sight far more bewitching than any trivial inquiry.
Cordelia, who said that she had just…changed her clothes, was now.
“…Hehe. What’s wrong? Petrified by my new look?”
She had stripped off the shirt and pants she had been wearing.
Instead, she was wearing armor made of multiple metal rings that were connected together to form a garment.
What’s known as chain armor, or chainmail.
Cordelia had actually worn it directly on top of her naked body after stripping off all her clothes.
The links of the chainmail were large enough that her soft skin showed through clearly.
Through the chainmail, I could clearly see everything—her plump, rounded b00bs, her peaked n1pples, her slender waist, her vertical belly button, and even her blonde-pubes-covered pvssy.
Normally, this was supposed to be worn over full-body clothing as additional armor.
But for some reason, Cordelia had draped it directly over her naked body… and was staring at me with what seemed like deliberate provocation.
“Y-You… what’s that?”
“While you were getting your gear chosen for you, I found this and bought it.”
Come to think of it, when we first reunited, Cordelia had been carrying a bag that looked like she’d just made a purchase.
So that must have contained this chainmail.
Seeing my stunned expression, Cordelia’s face clouded slightly, her mood turning sour.
I suppose she’d gone to the trouble of showing off her new chainmail, but my reaction must have disappointed her.
“Hey. You don’t have any reaction to my new gear?”
“Uh, uh, well…”
“Hmph. Fine. I never expected much from you anyway.”
Cordelia shook her head in resignation, but still stomped over to me.
With each step, her chainmail jingled and swayed, revealing clear glimpses of her bouncing b00bs beyond the metal.
When she reached me, she crouched down and said.
“Your reaction would be more honest if I asked this instead of that slowpoke you.”
She unzipped my pants without asking, dragged out my rock-hard d1ck hidden inside, and licked her lips with a smirk.
