I Received an NTR V*deo - Episode 22
“Who are you?”
“I’m Hoshina’s friend. Who are you?”
“I’m her boyfriend.”
“Huh? This throw-up-looking guy is your boyfriend?”
“…Yeah…”
Hoshina lowered her gaze in embarrassment, unable to meet Sayuri’s eyes.
Sorry this guy’s your boyfriend — that’s what her expression said loud and clear.
“Who are you calling vomit?”
“You, obviously.”
“Say that again, you ugly b1tch!”
Netori raised his fist, eyes blazing. He didn’t hesitate — this was the kind of guy who’d use violence on anyone, male or female.
Unexpected, sure. But I wasn’t worried.
After all, my sister is strong.
Sayuri effortlessly blocked his punch with her arm. Netori blinked in disbelief, then snarled and lunged at her again.
“Sayuri. That’s enough.”
“I could take him down easily.”
She batted away his grab and was about to strike his solar plexus. I caught her arm just in time.
“No need. If someone with a ranking like you beats up a civilian, it’ll turn into a problem.”
“You think you can take me, you ugly freak?!”
“Shut it. My sister’s not ugly.”
I gently nudged Sayuri back and stepped forward.
Netori stepped close — too close — his nose practically touching mine as he glared.
“So, who are you? Her ugly-ass brother?”
“Yujiro Enjo. I go to the same school as you.”
“… Yujiro Enjo?”
The name seemed to stir something. He smirked like he’d just remembered a joke.
“Ohhh, I get it. You’re that Yujiro Enjo. I’ve heard stories.”
“What kind of stories?”
“Want me to tell you?”
“Sure.”
“Too bad. Not telling, dumbass.”
A cheap provocation. I didn’t bite.
He probably felt smug, thinking he had the upper hand — maybe over Megumi, maybe over me. Either way, he was basking in it.
When I didn’t react, Netori clicked his tongue in irritation.
“So why are you with my girlfriend?”
“Hoshina and I are just friends.”
“Don’t call her by her first name!”
He snapped. Grabbed me by the collar.
“Netori, stop it!”
“Shut up, Hoshina!”
He shouted her down, too blinded by rage to notice the crowd forming around us.
“That’s why I’m stopping this.”
“What, you’re just her friend, right?”
“Exactly. What’s wrong with that?”
“Everything! You’re messing with my girl!”
“I’m not cheating or anything.”
“Doesn’t matter. I’ll still kill you!”
God, what a mess.
Hoshina stepped in, trying to hold him back even though she clearly didn’t want to touch him.
“Look, your boyfriend’s so mad he can’t even talk properly.”
“I told you — don’t call me by my first name!”
“Oops, sorry. Kawashima. Better?”
“You think that’s funny?!”
“I’ll take it as a yes.”
I offered a smile, trying to defuse things.
That just made him angrier — veins bulged on his forehead.
“No chance!”
“Brother Yu, should I just knock him out?”
“Sayuri, stay out of it. This is between me and him.”
“You get what I mean though, right? Gimme a second. I’ll break him.”
“Please, no. I don’t like pain.”
“If you hurt Yujiro, Netori, I won’t forgive you!”
Netori froze, genuinely surprised at Hoshina’s words. Still gripping my collar, he turned to her.
“Why are you protecting this guy?”
“Because I don’t want a fight. Look around — everyone’s watching.”
“I don’t care.”
“You should. The police are on their way.”
“I’m not afraid of the cops!”
Netori’s anger was boiling over. He couldn’t think straight.
I glanced at Yamamoto and the others — their faces were pale.
“Hey, if this keeps up, the police really might show.”
“Y-Yeah. Netori, let’s just bounce. The cops’ll be a problem.”
“Get off me!”
His friends dragged him back, but Netori was still reaching for me.
“I said we’re just friends. I’m not doing anything wrong.”
“Y-Yeah. And you’ve got female friends too, right?”
“That’s different! I don’t like him! Let me go or I’ll kill you!”
“That’s not gonna fly. We’re leaving now.”
“LET GO! LET GOOOOO!!!”
Even as he was dragged off, Netori kept kicking and screaming.
Was it really that serious? Just because Hoshina met up with a friend?
Hypocrisy aside — he had female friends and still acted like this — he was clearly unhinged.
And he was cheating on her, too. That made it even worse.
“I’m sorry, Yujiro.”
“It’s fine. I’m not hurt.”
“You should’ve let me handle him.”
“Sayuri, fighting isn’t a solution. You want to get suspended again like Hiro-nii?”
“I’d do it for him in a heartbeat.”
This one’s hopeless.
Sayuri always acts on her own logic — common sense doesn’t apply.
Hoshina’s hands were trembling slightly.
She’d been truly scared.
I felt guilty for dragging her into this mess.
“Sorry about all this. But let’s head home now. I’d invite you out for dinner, but there’s a curfew.”
“Yeah… That’s true.”
She glanced down at the small watch on her wrist.
Panic set in as the time ticked away.
“I think we’ll make it if we hurry…”
“I’ll run with you if needed.”
“No need to go that far…”
“Either way, I’ll walk home. Sayuri, are you good?”
“Sure. You owe me shabu-shabu later.”
“Deal.”
We started walking toward Hoshina’s house.
“I’ve never had shabu-shabu before.”
“Then come with us next time. But fair warning — when we eat with Hoshina, we use chopsticks.”
“That sounds like a pain… But if it’s with Hoshina, I’ll manage.”
“Sorry… But I want to go, too.”
Hoshina spoke plainly, openly.
Maybe she was being honest with herself — especially in front of Sayuri.
It made me happy to see her smile like that.
“Yeah. Let’s go together. Oh — give me your contact info.”
“Yes! I wanted Sayuri’s info too.”
The two of them exchanged contacts.
I let out a quiet sigh. For now, things had calmed down.
Before we realized it, we’d arrived at Hoshina’s house.
It was more like a mansion, complete with a sprawling garden.
Way bigger than my apartment.
“Hoshina, are you rich or something?”
“N-No, it’s not like that. Totally normal.”
“This? Normal? No way.”
“I guess… I’ve never been to a friend’s house, so I wouldn’t know.”
“Then come to ours next time.”
Her eyes lit up at Sayuri’s invitation.
“Really?! I want to visit Yujiro and Sayuri’s house!”
“Yeah, come by. But I’ll apologize in advance for having a dumb brother.”
Sayuri shot me a look. Hoshina just smiled — a small, endearing, wry smile.
