I Reincarnated as Just a Mob in an Eroge World, but the Heroines Are Swarming Me - Episode 36
Episode 36
“…Ahh…!”
When I dodged, Kirisaki let out an exhilarated cry. She seemed genuinely thrilled from the bottom of her heart that I managed to evade her.
But I wasn’t just dodging here. Kirisaki kept attacking relentlessly, alternating between magic and sword strikes. Her strikes became even faster and fiercer than before. But I managed to slip past them by a hair each time.
…And now, at the end of her one-handed sword combo—
She leaped at me with a fierce attack. This time, instead of evading, I moved in close. I swept away her sword with my left hand, charged with magic power in my glove.
This was a parry, a counter technique that relies on precise timing to deflect an opponent’s attack. Kirisaki’s stance faltered as a result.
“Nice…!”
Even though she was now in a precarious position, Kirisaki’s eyes shone brighter with excitement. I threw a punch with all the strength I’d built up in my right hand.
“Take this!”
Kirisaki twisted her body, just barely dodging my punch. Then she released a burst of water magic to stabilize herself, using the impact to regain her posture. Her movement was flawless; as soon as she regained her balance, she rushed at me with a full grin.
Once more, Kirisaki raised her sword and slashed at me, beginning another combo. Her movements were precise and efficient, with no wasted effort. But this time, I was waiting for it.
I sidestepped and slipped inside her guard.
“Hah!”
I struck with my glove, charged with magical energy. I thought I had her. But just in time, she blocked it with her one-handed sword.
…..Seriously?
She quickly cast water magic to immobilize me. But I countered by freezing it with ice magic. When I followed up with lightning magic, she leaped backward, putting distance between us.
“Amazing…! You’re incredible!”
Kirisaki exclaimed in delighted awe, and I exhaled a bit.
“Kirisaki, if we keep going, we’re going to end up injuring each other.”
“It’s fine! You can hurt me all you want! I’ll make sure not to injure you…so don’t worry!”
“I’m not into that kind of thing, thanks… How about we call it for today? Save some of the fun for tomorrow, alright?”
Honestly, the back-and-forth took all my energy. Kirisaki looked as fresh as ever. But I’d barely managed to keep up with her attacks without losing my breath. Any more, and I’d likely lose.
And as a gamer, I hate losing. So today, I’d like to call it a draw.
“……You’re right. Experiencing all of Takigawa in one day would be a waste… Until tomorrow.”
With the most sensual smirk I’d seen all day, Kirisaki licked her lips before finally sheathing her sword.
Well, her appetite seems satisfied. Crisis averted.

After finishing up in the dungeon, we returned to the inn. As soon as we arrived, Yoshiko-san greeted us with a warm smile.
“Welcome back. You must be tired. I just finished preparing dinner. So please head to the dining hall when you’re ready.”
“Thank you. We’ll head straight there.”
“Understood.”
Though we might be a little dusty from the dungeon, we didn’t want to miss out on a freshly prepared meal. Grateful for Yoshiko-san’s warm hospitality, we made our way to the dining hall. Seraph and Luminous seemed to be headed there too. And we met up with them in the hallway.
“Takigawa… I’m glad to see you’re alright.”
Luminous let out a sigh of relief. She must have been worried since it was my first real fight. I’d even received a few messages from her during the dungeon run.
“Yeah, I’m fine. You two doing okay?”
“Yes, no issues here.”
“How about you, Takigawa-san? How was your first dungeon fight?”
“All good on my end too.”
“Yeah….Takigawa was incredible,”
Kirisaki answered, still a bit pumped.
“…You’ll be on your own for a while, Takigawa. Are you sure you’ll manage?”
Since Seraph and Luminous hadn’t yet unlocked their full powers as a high angel and high demon, it would be hard to add more members to the team. Luminous’ worry made sense.
“I’ll manage. And if things get tough, Kirisaki has my back.”
“Yes, leave the combat training to me.”
That wasn’t quite the concern…
