“Are you, perhaps, Takigawa Yuuma?”  

“…Yes, that’s me.”  

Kirisaki’s father asked me this with a curious tone.  

I wasn’t expecting to be asked about my name like some celebrity. So I couldn’t help but feel a little puzzled.  

“…Mizuki often talks about you. It’s unusual for her to mention someone so much, so I wanted to see you for myself.”  

Although he wore a smile, his gaze carried a probing and slightly intimidating undertone. 

…….Could he be misunderstanding something?  

His demeanor screamed, “I’m here to judge if you’re good enough for my daughter.”  

Wanting to correct the misunderstanding, I carefully clarified.  

“Is that so? Kirisaki has taught me a lot about combat. I’m hoping we can continue improving together as rivals.”  

As rivals, you know? Please stop looking at me as if I’m hiding something.  

Though Kirisaki’s father didn’t seem fully convinced, his wife smiled warmly and chimed in.  

“It’s rare for Mizuki to show interest in someone like this. She even mentioned staying at the inn because she wanted to train with you in the mornings.”  

“Yeah, Takigawa’s movements are efficient and helpful as a reference.”  

…I see. That explains why she’s been staying at the inn.  

Kirisaki climbed into the car.  

“Are you all set?”  

“Yeah. Martha-san, let’s head back.”  

“Understood. Excuse us.”  

With that, Kirisaki closed the car door. She cracked the window slightly and gave her parents a small wave. Her father and mother returned the gesture, smiling warmly.  

“Mizuki, don’t overdo it, okay?”  

“Takigawa, please take care of Mizuki.”  

“…I will.”  

Their straightforward sincerity left me momentarily at a loss for words. But I nodded.  

……This will probably be the last time I meet Kirisaki’s family.  

By May 5th, I’ll have left Shizuho City, and by then… her family…  

I stopped myself. Thinking about it further served no purpose. I was only a supporting character; I had no intention of altering the story’s flow.  

As the car began to move, Kirisaki turned to me. 

“Tell me about today’s dungeon fights.”  

“…They weren’t much different from yesterday.” 

“How far did you go?”  

“The fifth layer.”  

“Then—”  

Kirisaki eagerly fired off questions, smiling as she listened. It was as if she were reliving the experience through my words.  

……Before the main game events began, Kirisaki was much more approachable, almost sociable.  

The emotional scars caused by the Void Shadow Incursion must have been devastating for her.  

The developers who created such tragic events were truly heartless.

We returned to the inn.  

After enjoying Yoshiko-san’s delicious dinner and taking a short break, I lay down on the futon.  

“Takigawa-san, shall we sleep together again tonight?”  

Seraph asked casually, prompting Luminous to scowl and protest.  

“Improper relationships between men and women are strictly forbidden!”  

Raising her voice, Luminous tried to stop Seraph. But Seraph simply turned to me, giving me a mischievous smile.  

“In that case, Takigawa-san, let’s maintain a *pure* friendship. Shall we?”  

What a tempting offer.  

As much as I wanted to jump at the opportunity, Luminous turned red and shouted at me.  

“H-Hey! Takigawa! Say something!”  

Of course, I’d love to have a closer relationship with Seraph. But I had decided to draw a line. I needed to focus on being a supporting character.  

“Sorry… Right now, I want to focus on being a Soul Binder.”  

As much as I’d love to indulge, I could only coolly decline.  

“I see. That’s a shame.”  

Seraph lowered her gaze, looking genuinely disappointed, while Luminous let out a relieved sigh.  

……Seraph and Luminous. If I’m not mistaken, both of them have extremely high affection levels toward me.  

Luminous’ earlier outburst was similar to something she’d say in the game, too.  

She struggles to be honest with her feelings. She lacks the courage to express herself directly. 

Losing to Seraph repeatedly, she puts on a confident facade. But deep down, she fears rejection.  

Especially when it comes to matters of the heart, she’s seen Seraph constantly getting confessions. It leaves her feeling inferior as a woman.  

Luminous has plenty of charm, though. She just doesn’t see it herself.  

The chest, admittedly, seems somewhat lacking in strength compared to Seraph’s. But even small chests have their own appeal. There’s something intriguing about that slight curve.

And most importantly, she has a larger bottom, with thighs that are nicely rounded. The development team is aware of the many players that desire to be squeezed between those thighs. And I’m one of them too.
